Hi. I have a very simple question: does anyone know a free midi editor working with WM6? Google didn't help me. I have already tried VIBE (java) but it won't export to MIDI, and it's quite awkward to use, sice it does not recognise the touch screen. Can anybody help me?
Thank you in advance.
By the way, is there an accessible version of this site (maybe a feature of vBulletin)? I know that Opera Mobile 9.5 is great, but a lighter page loads faster. Thanks!
dunno about the midi editor, but remember you can always just use mp3s
and the portable version is right here- http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/
it displays them backwards though (oldest to youngest)
Thank you, but I need the editor in order to compose music from the PDA, I am not thinking of the ringtones. Thank you, anyway.
I'm going to try the accessible version now.
Anybody else?
Sorry, removed the attachment, found a Trojen in it...
Its on Softpedia and you can find it HERE
Thank you, but that's not what I need. That is software for windows, but I need a Pocket PC/Windows Mobile app. What was the attachment?
The attachment was a trial version of "Mobile Music Polyphonic 1.50" it allows you to
Compose your own music by click mouse, setup different key signature, clef and meter. Setup score tempo.
· Seperate several midi channels from many complex channels midi file
· Can save part midi data from long complex midi file.
· Setup music instrument to every midi channel.
· Compose any complex music sheet, including channel position, volume, priority in sp-midi.
· Convert midi to mmf, midi to sp-midi.
· Convert mp3 to mmf, wave to mmf, mp3 to midi/sp-midi, wave to midi/sp-midi and mp3 to wave.
Click to collapse
But it ain't freeware...here' the LINK , just in case you want to try it out...
I had already seen this, but it's for a desktop, not a Pocket PC. Thank you anyway.
I've also been interested in this.
Even low budget phones have midi editors
I read that windows mobile devices have limitations because they don't have midi-hardware....
The most popular polyphonic composers are already dead long time ago (Bach, Palestrina)
Does anybody know of any video editing software which works with the Topaz?
The only one i can find details for on wm6 is http://www.trakax.com/software/mobile/trial_version/ however this won't work on the Topaz's screen resolution.
Thanks!
None that I know of...
I run a media production company, and I've got a very basic media "workstation" on my topaz already - a mini Photoshop (pocketartist), a mini Cubase (meteor), MS Office, several audio capture and editing programs, but there are 2 things I need to make draft versions for clients on the move. A simple html editor, although I can use Notepad, and a simple video editing program.
The only thing that I've found was the software you also found. It looks quite capable for simple mockups, and is reasonably priced, but was let down by the lack of wvga support. I did email them to ask about this and they said they'd have it sorted sometime in July!
But if anybody knows a good alternative, or decent html editor, I'd really appreciate a nod in the right direction.
On another note, I am still amazed every day that I can have all this software on my everyday phone, that only a few years ago was unthinkable. I can sit on a train and do what I do in the office, with music playing too!
I use ez pdf to highlight notes that are .doc and pdf, but are there any apps to highlight and take notes on powerpoint files? A lot of my professors use powerpoints as notes and I can't seem to find a good app to do this..anything similar to ez pdf that will work with powerpoint files? (such as highlight lines and very little actual handwritten input)
You can convert ppt to pdf using a program such as microsoft office. I do this every week because my prof posts ppt on her website and I use my transformer in class.
.....
I see 3 problems/issues:
1) This would collide would existing swipe gestures that can be done to subtitles, gestures that scroll/seek the subtitles
https://sites.google.com/site/mxvpen/features <-- scroll down to "subtitle gesture"
2) For subtitles that are vobsub/imagesub, and possibly for .ssa (depending on how the .ssa is encoded), the text cannot be parsed from it
3) Personally, while useful, it seems just slightly excessive on a phone video player
Yeah, copying a word by taping a word in subtitle is a very useful function.
That's the reason why I change Kmplayer to Potplayer.
I've got android phone and android tablet.
Hope MXplayer could add this useful function in the future,
and I'll definitely be willing to buy the app for this function. :good:

So do I
I agree, this feature is very helpful when you study foreign language.
subtitle to dictionary
Are you using potplayer with goldendict in the last image?
I'm trying to have a popup on clicking a word but, I only can copy the word in potplayer and goldendict cannot capture it. goldendict only has popup on custom hotkeys and you cant use it on potplayer subtitle.
The thing you said "using a dictionary that supports translating from clipboard" what kind of dictionary is that?
Thanks in advance!
Hi
I am using the presentation tool - if I stop and close the presentation and then open a pdf it still does not show the pdf on the screen. How do I close it completely... the students really appreciate this mode of delivery.
Thanks
