did anyone encounter problems with:
- Advanced Configuration Tool 3.3
- HD Tweak or Diamond Tweak (btw: which one for Topaz?)

I've been trying to use Advanced Configuration Tool 3.3 on my Topaz but failed because the application dies with an error message when I try to run it...

I was under the false impression that .net framework 3.5 is installed by default
Issues with
Advanced Configuration Tool 3.3:
- "Encode photos in portrait mode" is marked as "default", but will cause problems with saving photos
HD Tweak:
- Trying to set the left softkey to "Comm Manager" will destroy its GUI.
I've tryed both Diamond Tweak and HD Tweak. http://www.montecristoff.com/
I'm not sure that these two Softwares fully functioning for Diamond2!
For example the substitution of the applications for the softkeys does not translate into the default language (Calendar=Calendar), the sensitivity of touch, speed of animation remains unchanged and GPS in photos I don't know if it works (does GPSphoto appears as key in the screen that enables him?).
The volume bar remains to the default HTC and not in windows default.
So perhaps we should wait a Tweak Diamond2 for greater compatibility!
In conclusion I uninstalled both tweaks!
What you think and what experiences do you have?

Try Diamond Tweak it works ok, was able to assign left and right soft keys.

Can you help please? I am going around in circles. I try to install .net 3.5 - it says no application, run the application first and open .net 3.5 from within it. Can't find capacity to do that in Advanced Config tool, and Diamond Tweak just won't install at all. Does this make sense?

Putting on .net compact framework is a 2 part thing. You have to install 3.5 and then get your device to recognise 3.5 for applications that want to use it. A second program (cab) will do this for you. All is explained here compelte with the 2 files you need.....

ACT 3.3 works quite good. I didn't change any photo-setting so I didn't recognize any failure there.. Most other tweaks should work. Do a registry backup before trying too much
Diamond Tweak changed all setings I tryed out.. So there shouldn't be too many problems using it
But be patient when changing TF3D settings... We have a newer version on our devices. The apps came out before TF3D2 was released

Topaz run newest TFlo 3.0 and Diamond tweak (excelent btw) was designed for older version.I doubt it worked. How did you manage to get it work?
As for Advanced Config Tool 3.3 - works well on my Topaz.
HTC HD Tweak 0.54 - does the job
I tried both; advanced config wouldn't let me disable the startup animation and -sound, where diamond tweak did the job OK. So far I'm using the last one without problems (o, one thing: enabling scroll wheel in agenda - function won't work on the TD2.. )
Thanks to maranello's HDWall application at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=3616825, I had managed to create two Manila Touchflo 3D Themes (version 2.1 Touchflo 3D) to share with you guys and gals.
The same background is in all the tabs. Hope you will like it. Here's the link:
I have also included the matching background for your Today (Titanium plugin) and Start Menu background.
Hope you will like it.
1. Disable Manila Touchflo 3D
2. Download the theme zip file you want
3. Copy the jpg files to your \Windows directory
4. Run the CleanReg_Manila_Background.mscr
5. Run the cab file (boats_M21.cap or sunsetM21OT.cab)
6. Soft Reset your device.
7. Enable Manila Touchflo 3D
Enjoy!

I used the search funtion but could'nt find anything usefull.
I like the theme's good job!!!
manila is the technical name for touch flo 3d, the trippy today screen overlay that HTC puts on its phones.
ie all that flip clock stuff and weather application.

Got the original xperia ROM (wm6.1) and i dont want to install a 6.5 rom.
Would be nice if someone could post a link for me if there actually is a pure or standalone version. cant find anything, search comes up with thousands an millions of posts =)

I can't find any cab for Manila TF3D as well, so have to be contented with the roms that had it cooked in.
HELP!!
I installed the theme, but realized that the background was white and couldn't read the messages and appointments..So i uninstalled the theme, but the screen rotates with the g-sensor, causing a lot of delays...Could anyone help me get back to the original TF without the rotation thing...Thanks a lot in advance...

I wonder why. I uses HD wall latest version to create a wallpaper.cab for my leo. but then it just hangs my sense and simply refused to start up the sense. Have to uninstall the cab and works fine.
No luck with HDwall....
does anyone have any idea what am i missing here?

antonio this last cab doesn't work properly in mi hd2. same problem cookin mywallpaper cab: ok both the taskbar, but wallpaper covers 80% of its area.
I c in the pic of calendar...are u cookin with your Hd1?

For some reason i can't make HDWall work for my Leo...i'm getting also the same problem with the picture covering 80% of the space it should on the screen. I have tried all the instructions, i have Microsoft 3.5 on the PC and 3.5CF on the mobile, i have selected the right choice under Config in HDWall...still nothing...
Any idea anyone? Also i have the 20 quick links (with 5 ont he Home screen) and they always get messed up with HDWall or any 'all tabs' cab...My preference really would be to find a cab that allows the wallpaper to cover all the surface of the screen (ie also the 'Start' and 'Phone' lines at the top and bottom on all tabs) and then put it on al tabs without the need to create a cab and then run it via HDWall. I normally change wallpapers all the time so i want to save on the hassle to create the cab each time, run it etc. not to mention the extra space that it all takes on my storage card. This was possible with Touch HD, but have not found any similar cab for the HD2?

since I installed the Cotulla WM6.1 on my magician I tried different today homescreens or plugins like fewidget, throttlelauncher, HTC Home, Androkkid, Manila 2D etc.. some did work, but in the way I wanted - and I'm already at the end with my nerves
Finally I found Wisbar Advance Desktop and it works pretty good. I installed it on my storage card.. BUT there is one problem, I can't switch between themes. There is no theme witch works if I click on change themes, I can see them, I can also click on them, BUT nothing changes, I only get the default portrait theme..
Believe me, I installed the themes correctly..
I also tried to install WisBar Advance Desktop on main memory, but the same.. no difference!
Please can anybody help me!!?

finally i could change bg in all tab with transparent bar
i found solution by installing bg4all first & then bgwizard in this thread, and then change bg with bgwizard..
@medusar
bgtweak works only with stock files (shell32.exe & aygeshell.dll) & I couldn't find that stock files suit to my ROM version. but with bgwizard i could change background without need of other files..

Hello,
I've tried on HD2 official room 1.48. It's work for the home tab but for others the taskbar remind as the one on the home tab. Therefore, I've tried to reverse to original settings through the program but not work's after many reset, remove of the soft, re-install to try again to reverse to original settings I'm stuck with the wallpaper taskbar selected...How can I get back the original black one without hard reset???

Appreciate if you can help me to get back the original settings (black bars).
So far, I manage it by using default black wallpaper. Is it your soft which created 3 files named up, down and back on root of My Device? if i remove it taskbars become hugly grey.
If help, i've cookies home and cht installed.

i also tried this mod but removed it as it seemed to stop manila rotation. however i'm now left with grey task and softkey bars. how can i get them back to black
