I am a new user here. I downloaded the Max Manila 2.7 main and patch. I installed main then patch on my HTC Touch Pro 2 which I updated today to windows mobile 6.5. I have the Verizon one. I can't figure out what to do know. I can't access any part of Max Manila. I need help running and using the program. So if someone could please post instructions that would be great. I have been looking all day and can't find anything... Thank you
I have got the exact same problem (except that I use a HTC Touch Diamond2). I installed Manila 2.7 and the patch in Windows 6.5, soft-resetted the device, and nothing happened

You have to search for a mod to yours

Hi, I'm running XDA Mobile 6 Release 2a on my Wizard. Is there a chance to get HTC Home Plugin and TouchFLO installed afterwards?
NBD Rom and Wizard retouched doesnt run proper on my device.

tried that combination but my device became sluggish, went back to nbd 7.9, its faster if you want touch files in the rom

It is possible to pick up the files from the ROM's OEM folders and make a .cab out of them. However, people have found touchflo very sluggish if installed afterwards. You can look at mattk_r's last kitchen (one of the sticky threads) if you want OEM folders for touchflo and htc home.

Also will it replace/override most of the current manila files? 18Mb seems pretty big for a cab file. Sorry for my ignorance and thanks in advance.

i just upgraded to the new manila after needing a hard reset for something unrelated and i love the new manila it is a lot better. at first it was slow but after some soft resets or changes in advconfig or installing swype (not sure which) it is now just as fast as before. i would recommend it but you may need to hard reset which is what held me up before.

The new manilla's integrate themselves into the os alot more than the older ones, i would not advise installing 2.1 by cab, you are just asking for trouble and errors ect and it cant be uninstalled so once you installed it your stuck with it, either flash a new rom with the manila u want included or keep the original one, im using my own cooked rom with the original manilla, i dont need 2.1 or 2.5, neither of them were made for our device or work perfectly with it, so u mite as well use the manilla that was made for the device your using not a touch pro 2 or HD 2

Can in any way without harming my rom & slowering the system speed .. can I add tabs in the touch flo ( like calender , stock, etc )

I am running touchflo 2.1 (manila 2.1) installed from a cab and have no real problems at all. The only issue I have is with the Tachi dialer and that is only necessary if you wish to make calls from the people tab. If you install the 2.1 touchflo and don't like it you can use total commander and delete all the manila files and soft reset your phone. The manila files are the touchflo files and will be restored from the rom. Hope this helps

I am having trouble installing Windows Mobile 6.5 on a HTC Touch HD. I have extrected all the files to a folder and then I have connected my Touch To the computer and have activated activesync. I have then opened up the PDA Phone Rom Update Utility and followed the instructions. The HTC Touch HD gets stuck on 0% and the PDA Phone Rom Update Utility displays an error 262-the update utility has encounterd Communication problems with the device. how can i resolve this problem?
Which Operating system are you using on your PC?
When on XP what ActiveSync version?
Did you hard-SPL the HD?
and, did you make sure your device is actually detected and installed on your PC properly?
Hey, I have encountered the same problem when I was trying to downgrade my HD from WM 6.5 to 6.1. You may try to upgrade your SPL to 1.56, then cook the ROM to your phone again. At least that how I cooked my HD first time.

Hey there,
Please do not try and flash an HD2 rom to your HD, or you will end up bricking your device.
If you want 6.5 on your HD, head over to the blackstone forum, Hardspl and choose the rom of your choice.
Make sure you understand the instructions for hardpsl and flashing (it isnt that difficult really).
If all goes wrong, put your phone into bootloader and flash back the official HD rom.

I recently got a touchflo from a buddy of mine. did a hard reset to default all the settings. can some one please help me get the cube on my phone.
Device? ROM installed? Have you tried in setting->Personal->Today?

I did look into personal > today with no such luck
WM6.1 haven't HTC Cube but TF2D: you could search in XDA Forums with "HTC Home"

Rom date: 09/16/09
Radioversion: 3.48.25.27
Protocol version: 61.41t.25.31H
Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional 5.2.21854 (Build 21854.5.0.80)
Earlier today I tried installing Co0kie.HomeTab_v1.8.0. Initial installation looked fine but after reboot no Co0kie GUI. Tried to re-install but keeps hanging on de-installing routine. Tried to de-install via "de-install programs" option but same result. In the meantime I get the feeling that it has something to do with having the correct Manila version. However I would not know how to check this on my phone.
So basically:
- Will Co0kie.HomeTab_v1.8.0 work at all on my Touch 2?
- What are the prereqs?
- What Manila version am I using and how can I check this?
- Other tips/suggestions?
