you need to have an active cestos on both phones with 2 different usernames (oldcestos) (newcestos) and email the dev. he will transfer the stats for you. it is imei based i believe , so when you give him the user name he assigns that imei to your profile
Sorry for posting on an out of date topic, but i want to creatie a new account for cestos to start from the beginning. Anyone?

If you'd like to reset your account, set your username to "hardreset" for (up to) 24 hours. We have a nightly cleaner that will reset your account

My house mate has an un-rooted HTC Sensation. Recently when going to Gmail on her PC browser she got some kind of message about her account had been accessed from another country and she needed to verify via call or text.
She verified via text and I think changed her password.
Now, Gmail doesn't notify her of new mails, she has to go in and refresh. Also, trying to open Talk means a black screen appears and within a split second it closes, no errors.
I've tried clearing data on all Google apps. I would remove the account and re-add it, but it says I can't as apps are tied to the account.
Any ideas what has happened and how it can be fixed?

I selected option 2 from the original link (I think someone else is using my account) and it lead to this:-

What I'm saying is, none of them apply. She's reset/changed her password now and can use her account no problem. The issue is app/phone related.

Right I'm with you. Confusion rules!
So.. I used my windows live account for my phone... and for some reason it detected it as if I lived in the USA... So now I can't add my bank card to my account and I can't buy applications.
I created a new account to set my country to Mexico (I already did this in zune.net). The problem now is that I would like to change the main account from my phone so I can buy applications without having to reset my phone.
I have an LG Quantum, so I can access the registry editor using the MFG app.
Anyone knows how to do this?

What is the difference between the email and the user?
Do you know if it is possible to change to use a messenger account for messaging that is different from the main account?
lol ... after actually trying this out... it didn't work and it screwed my accounts xD
it is good I remembered the original value for those fields so maybe I can fix it =)
The fields seem to have an id instead of the email of the account... maybe this would work if I could get the id from my other account :O

P.S. Probably we need to add this hack to FAQ...

And also... Do I have to do those 3 changes, or just the last one?
So.... it didn't work for me... again xD
Now I can't config contacts nor accounts... and I can't access my email...
It really sucks how microsoft restricts your account to only one country... u__u

Also, as I mentioned before, I changed the LiveID user name i.e. email account name, not a whole account (may be it's a reason?). Sorry, I don't know the difference and how it affects on WP7 settings.
First, I've changed email at the first two registry entries and was able to get new email (my old email associated with Live account, was blocked by damn stupid Verizon - after 10 years - still can't believe). Yesterday I found what Marketplace and game hub stop working, and asking for password with old email (LiveID?). So, I found the third entry and now all Live-services working fine, including Zune. It's 100% true.

I'm using an LG quantum and I edit the registry through the MFG application (it has a registry editor)
I actually wanted to be able to change my main account because for some reason the account I normally use for messenger is identified as being from the USA, so I can't use it to buy. So I created another account and set it to Mexico (my country) , so now I can buy apps from the market place...
The problem is now I have to re add all my friends to my new messenger account... x___x
So if I could change accounts, I could switch my account whenever I needed to buy something and then change it back to be able to send messages.

For now I think I'll just start adding my contacts to the new account.
We recently changed email providers and I am trying to update the new server info on my Galaxy Note 2. Not a rooted phone and am using the stock email app with existing email accounts (4 accounts) already setup on the phone. The user names and passwords are not changing, so I am entering only the new incoming and outgoing server info. for each account. After entering the new server info and teh account tries to setup, I get a message "incorrect username or password," which hasn't changed. I think what is happening is the user name in the field is only part of the email addess. The user name field is grayed out so I cannot edit it. All of the other fields can be edited. I contacted Samsung mobile tech support, but they said it is an Android app so they can't do anything. How can I change the user name without deleting the account and adding it again? Thank you.
I think it would have been actually quicker to delete the account & add it as you want it than it was to come & ask this question.
Its very quick to add an account.
Particularly if you let it set up in auto mode.
Why are you so against doing it that way.

I dislike deleting the accounts, because I will have 4 of them to setup again. Yeah, it's quick to setup an account, but there are a lot of setting features to tweak for each one. I would like to avoid having to tweak everything. I used to use K9 email, which does allow access to edit the username, but the Note 2's username field doesn't which is odd. K9 started to give me polling issues which drained the battery really fst so I had to stop using it. Also, K9 doesn't setup exchange accounts, and I need that for my work email. That's why I am using the stock app. Was hoping someone would know a workaround.
Yes I know what you mean with all the tweaking.
So much easier if you have two phones/devices with all your personal setup so you can reference quickly from one to other.

he is good guy and providing fresh accounts but now the days google is some thing strickt with new accounts i think he not like any more new accounts creation and using those are you getting this same i know using one account for you is risky because google is not safe and not giving secure work so we need to use more then one acc for this work. tell me what you suggest....

In my situation, i lost my phone of course my number too, what is important there the number, the number there is also the same number to recover my email. i forgotten the password too. so now I'm getting the hard time to recover my account back because Gmail now is very secure now. They don't have some option of recovering gmail account not like before ,that you can recover your account by answering those vital information to your account such as birth date, and other security question you fill up there when creating your account. Now, its very hard to recover, and not also me but i encounter so many user with my same experience and problem with me. i even go to some other forum like Gsuit to open uf my issue.. but theres no response at all..
