Is this possible (stock rom clock question) - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

Hi there,
I was wondering if it were possible to
a) modify the homescreen clock on the stock rom at all
b) modify it in such a way that it shows the normal clock but when you press a button, it is replaced by a unix epoch clock (I just got a sudden hankering for one of these tbh...yeah I'm a bit of a geek)

That'll be a no, then?

You can modify the look of the clock with the readily available cab files in this forum (just search - there's lots).
As far as changing what the clock actually does.... no. You'd need to recode Manila to do that, and it's not open source.

Is there a CAB for JUST a black TF3D clock?

I'm referring specifically to this clock:

I have a CAB for the clear clock so I can see whatever my background image is, but if I want to revert back to the black clock that comes with the theme I installed (via CAB, if that makes any difference) I have to reinstall that theme's CAB. So I wanted to avoid the 15 minute process of refreshing your TF3D theme by just having the clock CAB alone to reinstall if I ever need or want to.

Hey buddy search in the clocks, backgrounds, tf3d threads that way you wont make new threads asking each thing you wanted. You have already made two threads concerning this stuff....search is your friend.

how to remove black background
I tried installing multiple different cab's for clock and every single one still had the standard black background that came on my sprint touch diamond. How do I get rid of this so I can see my wallpaper image?

Analog clock wont display on home screen

I have installed a new analog clock to my hd2, but it does not show up my home screen. I have done a soft reset a few times and still no show. Is there a registry change I have to make to activate this analog clock? I am running a stock 1.43 ROM. Any help with this will be appreciated, thanks in advance.

You need to first install a clock array cab package, with all the files needed for the clock array to function.
You can then just install an analog clock cab or components, to replace the graphic files for the existing analog clock.
Just make sure you install a clock array for your version of Sense.
Many of them you'll find, have BG4all, or other mods included, so be careful to look for only what features you want, when selecting your clock array .cab.
There are several modders, who have made different clock arrays, just search and I'm sure you will find more then you need.

+1 I would like to change it to analog clock as well.
I would like to know what is the MINIMUM steps/changes/modifications I need to do to achieve this too. Any help? Please.
I searched the forum for (1) Co0kie.20Quicklinks_v1.0.1, (2) Jaguaralani My Clock Array and (3) Jaguaralani Simple MaxM for Sense Clocks + 20 Fixed Hands. I then installed (1) then (2) and then (3). Hope this helps, this is what worked for me. BTW, I am running ROM 1.66 Manila 1921.

[Req] Transparent Analogue Clock

Hi Guys,
I need help - But that aside for a moment...
I've been trying to modify a clock so that I have a just the basic marks and maybe a white ring... However, it appears that my GIMP 2.6 skills are nothing...
Most things I've managed to modify by myself, but this has got the better of me. So here I am seeking the skills of an artist. Please if you can it would be much appreciated.....
I'm using Co0kie's Home tab 1.8.
Thanks again
Sorry for my English.
No Takers?
...a picture says more than a thousand words...
No screenshot and/or pic of the clock you need transparent?
Are you after a specific clock to be modified, or just requesting any clock that roughly fits that description??
I done one which is mainly transparent, see attached .zip file with the manila files in it.
The image below is what it looks like (but I have now removed the original pin in the middle so you will not see it like you can in the picture).

analogue clock

hi, i am looking for a way to replace the std clock to a analogue clock without to many changes to the phone software.
currently i have the std shipped software running on the phone.
any help/direction is appreciated.
thanks
You have to install a mod which includes the possibility to display analog clocks.
There are some of such mods available, search for MaxManila (for earlier Sense versions), earlier versions of the "Dusk theme" which includes a clock array, or go directly for the famous "Cookiemonster Home Tab" (CHT), either version 1.7 or 1.8.
I think the biggest choice for analog clocks available is for CHT. This mod gives you complete freedom what to do with your home tab - you can actually leave the optics close to stock, if you prefer.
Co0kies Home Tab mod really does seem to offer the largest range of analogue clocks (and various ways of displaying them both on the home screen, homescreen alternative levels, and lock screen.
You can download CHT here.
If you do choose to go down this path, then this thread is a good starting point for clocks. It lists pretty much every CHT analogue clock thread on XDA (that I'm aware of )
If you can't find something you like among the listed threads then ... I guess it just ain't out there! *lol*
If you're feeling really creative then you may want to give making a clock a shot yourself. Here's a tutorial if you're interested.

How to Link to a different font, and not just replace a font

Hi All,
I have done a ton of searching the last few days and still have not come up with a specific answer. I am looking to link my lock screen font to a new font, and not just change or replace the font.
I am running a Moto DroidX with 2.3.3 (605) and using Go Launcher EX... just incase any of it matters.
My clock is not pulling from Clockopia.ttf, instead its pulling from the same font the rest of the system is (such as notifiers and such), and that is DroidSans-Bold. To test and make sure I was correct, I replaced the DroidSans with some wacky font, and it turned every peiece of system based font into the wacky one, clock and notifications included.
Because of this I am unable to easily change just the clock font. I wanted to replace the clock font with an invisible one so I could have a simple and easy way for my lock screen to look directly at my home screen with no clutter. I have read a few apps let you replace the lock screen, but don't really want to run anything new as a constant process just to hide a font. I'm also satisfied with the basic structure and functionality of the default lock screen minus the time and verizon banner. Does anyone know the specific config file and location where I can specify which font the lock screen pulls from?
Are there any apps, free or paid, that will help me accomplish this exact task? What I most liked about the invisible font was that it's easily reversible and all I had to do was backup the original font file. I've already bought several good utilities and am not affraid to pay for one more as long as it does what I want in a simple and reversible way... and Ideally will not run anything full time backround services.
Thanks.
Booo! No takers with some info on this one?
