I want a very clean home page and i think I'm going in the right direction..
I have removed the operator text and all the curtains and stuff..
But i can't find a retractable slider for sense 2.5 build 1922?
And the TF3D horizon from rotastrain isn't working too
And how can i remove the date, the alarm off text and the next appointment?
So i actually only want to see the clock and the weather.
Someone that can help me?
I was looking in advanced config tool, and in calendar it says:
show events text in week view: Yes
As the calendar only allows day and month view, turning this off may be for the home screen. Not sure though

My suggestion would be to install Max Manila an configure it from there.
I just wanted to know where did you get that glass clock? I want that clock but I cannot find one like it. cant you point me in the right direction on where you got it, or send me the cab file. I would appreciate it!

hi thanks for the reply, I think a someone has tried that but may have problems with it on the 6.5 system, Ill try for myself tonight when I get home from work! Going to try HTC Home Customizer and see if the weather plugin works with 6.5. I really like the look of the weather update with icons etc along with the time/clock in the sliding panel as seen in the mini weather chrome app! Be great if that would work!

Success! I tried the Feather total clock but that didnt quite work, despite changing the feather file with the correct link (see 1st screenshot). The 2.14a version did work perfectly (after correcting the file with the link) and displayed the weather icon picture however the other version of feather weather which you can enable a panel on home screen didn't quite work as although the clock panel integration displayed info ok, the additional panel info was wrong and had the wrong date (see 2nd screenshot) and consequently wrong info (saying its sunny). Does the panel have a different link info that needs correcting perhaps?
update: Ok I settled on feather weather 2.14a as seen in my 3rd screenshot in total, but any ideas how I could get it so that the weather picture icons are larger and looks more like that of screenshot 4?
any ideas guys??
I use to have a notification on my standard wm 6.5 lockscreen. Now I don't see it anymore. It use to work with LockDevice. Anybody have this problem to?
Hmm I've noticed that it will only be displayed when you've not marked the appointment as:
- take out the whole day
- it will only display one appointment
Is there a way to get all of your appointments of that day (and the day after) on your today screen?
Hi Ciedric, I don't know about the standard WM6.5 screen as I like Manila. I too like to see my appointments on my homescreen. The only Manila that does this well is 2.0. If you google "compact homescreen with dated appointments" you will see what I mean. You will need to download manila 2.0 first though, or flash a rom with it on, if you don't have one already.
I Use manilla to. I'm using the HTC ROM WM 6.5 for Topaz.
If there is a appointment it will be show in your lockscreen and in your homescreen (under the clock, calls and agenda).
The thing is that a appointment for a whole day (like a birthday) will be showed in the homescreen but won't be displayed in my lockscreen
If I change the time from 0:00 - 23:59 it pops up in my lockscreen. If I have added another appointment it won't show it. Is it possible that they will only display one appointment at the time?
I'm also e-mailing HTC, guess they will test and analise it.

I love your optimism....
As I understand it, the WM6.5 HTC rom gives you Manila/Sense 2.1 or 2.5 (I'm not sure which). With these, you will not get many appointments anyway. Why don't you flash the Manila 2.0 HTC rom? I know this would be WM6.1 though. It doesn't contain such bugs as you are experiencing.

I have the same problem with my hd mini...You solved it??
thanks
Hello together,
I'm playing around with all these apps, themes, roms since 2 days and I already changed a lot of things which are nice, but there are still some things which are bugging me and I can't find a solution for them. it would be really nice if you could help!!
I have installed MaxManila 2.5 V3.0 and the DKBlack theme and several other little stuff.
So now the problem is:
1. that my digital clock has a transparent background, is it possible to change this back to a white or something else? just transparant doesn't look so good in my opinion.
2. The icons on my home tab for the shortcuts are the old ones, how can I change them to new ones which I've downloaded and which are already working in the main menu?
3. Maxmanila produced a crazy flame background for me which is already not correctly centered I think, so at my phone the background is already zoomed in, so its not very sharp. Also I haven't found a way to change the background because it doesn't work with the normal menu. I don't want to stick with the flame bg
4. The Maxmanila Links for Last call,, calender etc. don't make any sense in my opinion, I mean I still have the same links at the bottom, so how can I remove them or replace them by something more useful, like a birthday reminder or something like that?
I think thats it for the moment.
THX for any help!!
Hm...is MaxManila really for HTC HD2?? I mean I realized that they don't have the normal HD2 menu at the bottom? I want to keep that, but now it makes sense that they installed this 4 icons for calender under the clock.
So is Maxmanila really for HD2 or is Cookies Home tab the better choice? Is there a way to change the clock also with the cookies home tab?
THX for any responses!!
I was told that if I copied over the Manila File 4f914e0d with one that was edited to make the text on my home screen, "CALENDAR" go away but it does not. Does anyone have a cab file for this. When I use cookie's tab to "show when relevant" the date and alarm pops up with a grayish background. Also my clock has clear borders around it!!! I'm trying to get rid of this crap so I can have and enjoy the background I like. I've been up since 9AM EST reading through several posts and installing and uninstalling cabs and manila files to no avail. I NEED HELP!!!!

You should check the stickies... and install transparency cabs for whatever item you want to have transparent.

Yea those two threads do nothing for me. There isn't a cab that removes the "text" 'Calendar' from the homescreen. There is one that removes it from the lockscreen. And there isn't a Cab that removes the "clear frames" from under my digital clock. Also I've noticed where people can edit the word "start" on the top curtain...how can I do this?

Clear frames from under the clock??? Are you talking about the background for the calendar/alarm on the home screen? That would be the first cab.
and the no start text cab is the 2nd one.
If this isnt what you are looking for, please give us a screen shot pointing to what you need.
OK do you
see how this image has frames around the digital clock
Also you see the text "calendar" right below the date and alarm.
I want to remove calendar and I want to remove those "clear" frames around the digital clock. Also its not about removing the text "start" in the top curtain...I want to edit it. See the other picture...
EDIT: I removed the text/word "Calendar" from my homescreen by selecting menu/Edit Home Layout: Then I held pressed "Calendar" and it prompted me if I wanted to remove it and there it went.. Now the only thing ...those darn eyeglass frames around my digital clock and editing the top curtain.
That should remove the clock background fully. It is in one of or both posts I posted in post 3.
That

Didn't work. Most of the Touch X's i've used do not work. I'm running the new TmoUS ROM on my HD2. Also I do not want to remove that "start" in the top curtain as so much as to edit it. Also do you know of a way besides HDWALL and B4ALL to get the homescreen wallpaper to show on the top and bottom curtains as well...?
Are those "frames" not part of the clock itself and not a background. I think you need to look for another completely transparent clock. I'm not sure which one to suggest, but that's where I'd be looking rather than cabs for transparent backgrounds
Interesting

Try these, unzip and copy files to \Windows (backup the originals first ) and then overwrite the originals. You may need to use Total Commander or Resco File Explorer to do so.
For editing the name on the top I use CHT Editor, but you can also try MaxTTM (look in the Blackstone aka Touch HD section) if you don't use the Co0kie Home tabs mod.
EDIT: I see you also use the CHT Editor - so to change the operator name is very easy, go to - Menu\CHT Editor\Miscellaneous settings> and scroll down to Custom Operator text and edit to whatever you wish
I agree with Clyde. That cab should remove the BG of the clock all together.
I have a stock rom T-MoUS as well, and 90% of the Touch X cabs work for me. so they should work for you no probs. Maybe you have something installed that
does not get along with the cabs.
As for the start text thing.. I dont know if you can edit it. I know it can be removed. Not seen it edited to say something ells. CHT will allow you to change the operator text, just below the start text.
After looking at the second pic again. I *THINK* that is a personal rom that Antonio uses. If that is the case, he has that cooked into the rom like that.
You can also try this to edit the Operator name - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=359563&highlight=personalizer

You can try this clock and then just use the Touch X cab to remove the clock frame/background - http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=261685&d=1262103604 (Courtesy of Antoniomistretta)
Yea I like the basic clock...i'm just trying to find one without those clear borders. And I already edited the Carrier name right below the top curtain...I just didn't know that was built inside a ROM within the Top Curtain...I thought that was a cab...
Now just to be clear

No. it will only take away the shaded areas behind the Operator name and behind the sliders. To skin the taskbar and softkey bar you need to use something like HD Wall, or alternatively the volDeus tweak (link in my signature) but HD Wall is a little easier to use. You can also skin the bars using MaxTTM referred to earlier.
I do not

I lost all of my apps when my SD Crashed. Could not even recover my Re-Init Folder I would use to install everything back. Is there a single cab to make everything transparent on the homescreen? I tried using Antonio's and the Touch X Cabs and I cannot clear one last hurdle..." Calendar Tab Background" Not the date but the word Calendar underneath that has a shaded background that I wish to make transparent. I've tried numerous Calendar transparent background cabs but all they do is remove the part with the date and alarm clock....
try this - hopefully should work

I actually just posted this yesterday..
The rest you should be able to find here
I'm using Energy ROM Classic 219 and I cannot remove that background behind the workd Calendar. Not sure why I cannot. Everything I use is only removing the Date Part of it with the Alarm.
hi, can you make my weather animations on home screen transparent or just take it out of the home screen. i tried a way to take it out that i found on antoniomistretta post of transparency mod and skins but it didn't work for me
i downloaded a cab named Dutty's Disable Current Location.cab ( didn't see anything happened cuz i had to manually disable the location myself) i also stopped updating my weather, i don't remember if i had to replace a manila file but if it was necessary, i believe i did.
Also i will like to know if you can make the music controls tabs transparent (previous, play & next) i attached some screen shots
if you know a way i'll appreciate if you can help me
if this helps i have a TMOUS stock ROM
OS version 5.2.21892 (21892.5.0.89)
manila version 2.5.20121412.2
ROM version 2.13.531.1 (90963) WWE
Radio 2.10.50.26
by the way, thanks to antonio an degake for helping me making my phone look cooler
