I have an Italian Qtek S100. I'd like to upgrade Rom, Phone and Eprom, but no italian upgrades are release yet. Can I upgrade with English rom? Any difference using sw for Imate or Qtek?

I inform you that within Wednesday you will be able to download new S100 ROM, it will solve MMS Voda problem with a new version of MMS client.

when is avaiable this rom with the new MMS client. can you upload it to the ftp. please?
I live in spain and i have vodafone.
New Italian Qtek 1.06.04 ROM is on ftp under "Qtek S100 ROM Upgrade 08.03.05" folder 8) .
ROM version: 1.06.04 ITA
Radio : 1.05.00
Extended ROM: 1.06.119 ITA

Check your Country ID (and other info) with GetDeviceData.exe

DANGA405 means it's a Qtek from Dangaard and not an i-Mate JAM.
So it seems normal that you cannot apply the i-Mate ROM...

lost MMS after install
I install this ROM after CID unlocking, and I lost the MMS folder... can anyone HELP ???

:roll: Take a look in the messaging place after a SR, if do not work, try to restore the device, I mean, hold the camera and Comm Manager at the same time. Put your stylus in hole close to your mini usb and still pressing the camera and Comm Manager. When you see a black screen with white letters, then you press the green botton (answer phone) and its finish. Tell us the result.
I was a lot time with this rom and work like a charm, enjoy!!!

Sound pretty good. Just try to check in this forum a new Radio 2.30.21 and the best is; you don't have to download a new ROM, you can make it diret.
Otherwise, can you tell me how can you reach your IPL 2.15.0001? I invest a lot of hours to try to doit, but no way.
IPL 2.15.0001 is the current Vodafone shipping in Spain for the S200, there is no change on that, I guess....
Btw if anyone knows how to install old .cab apps from JAM, it would make a better Prophet ext rom. Any help?

I keep geting the NovenderId masage.
COuld anyone help me??

Should I update this ROM or isn't neccesary?
What are the improves?
Works any remote controller for the tv like nevo?

Read the forum and find in your machine:
- SPL/IPL value, to check Number and chipset type (G4 or G3)
- Check your ROM version, you CAN NOT downgrade in most cases AFAIK. At least not below 2.15.0001 SPL/IPL
Then:
- Download the english NO_VENDOR_ID ROM. You need to install it first to "downgrade" to a baseline prior to "upgrade" to the latest releases.
- Download a valid ROM (The one of your choice) in one of the many places, forums, ftp sites, etc. Do a bit of searching, they are hot topics at this time in the Prophet forum. Install following carefully the instructions and enjoy.
Be aware that as of TODAY they are not any Spanish instalable ROM newer than 2.13 available. So if you go to an english ROM, there is no way back.

There are no Spanish ROM available newer than yours, so you can get some apps out there and install the CABs you might like the most.
Be aware, if you change to ANY OTHER ROM (Mostly English WWE versions), there is no way back to Spanish at the moment.

Bueno pues en www.qtek.es ya se puede descargar la nueva rom la "Qtek S200 220736 2207116 024721 SPA.zip" pero yo no puedo mi imei me dice ke no es valido, alguien puede descargarlo?
the new rom for s200 qtek in spanish (2.20.7.36 spa) is available at www.qtek.es;
but is only for qtek manufactured pocket's, and not for amena, orange, vodafone,...
please, reply to thread if any download this and upload to the xda-developers ftp site.
