General performance really sucks
So I'd like to go to CursurSense (read about the Teknologist kernel mod)...
When following the instructions ->
1st update to "RADIO 6.35.07.29 AND SPL 1.76.2007 ENG" I am getting:
C:\Tools\AndroidSDK\tools>fastboot flash radio radio.img
sending 'radio' (21376 KB)... FAILED (remote: not allow)
So that means I got a perfected rom :-(
I thought my 32A is rooted, because I am able to put other roms on it...
(Like Cyangenmod)
Or do I understand something wrong?
Rooted is not the same as "not perfected..."?
Anyway it looks like I need a goldcard?
Can somebody please post a link/description for a solutionfor my issue

Yes, that would be the first step before starting the 6.35 radio/ 1.76.2007 SPL upgrade path.
I would recommend 1.33.2010 Eng SPL.

Hey, good to hear. My phone is currently at the same specs as yours was earlier today. Was wondering if you might let us know how much better the CursorSense 0.9.5/6 is treating you than the MyHero 2.0.5 (which is what I'm using right now).
Mine seems like it's working pretty good, but I like the sounds of the CursorSense, just wanted to get a fresh, recent opinion.

This is honestly the best ROM available for magic. Super fast, very stable, excellent work by cursordroid. The man really knows what he's doin. Just make sure you follow the instructions exactly on upgrading your spl/radio and you should have no issues at all. Skip 0.9.5 though, apps2sd is completely unnecessary on a 32A there's more than enough internal memory to handle your apps.

Actually, when you "rooted your 32A", you rooted the Android OS on it.
The CyanogenMod ROM is already rooted, so you don't need to do anything to get root on this ROM.
just wanted to let you know, that do absolutley not any regrets from switching from myhero 2.0.5 to Cursorsense
It is really amazing fast, no FC so far, and everyting is working as it should!
btw, I always flash to the current version (right now going to 1.0RC)

Okay guys,
I have my phone rooted and I have the following loaded:
ota-radio-2_22_19_26l.zip
JFv1.50 ADP1.5
I also have my apps going to my sd card via the guide on here.
I was going to load a custom image and I realized that I didn't have the correct bootloader which I THOUGHT I loaded when I loaded JFv1.50...
It says on my bootloader that I have:
DREA100 PVT 32B
HBOOT-0.98.0000
RADIO-2.22.19.26i
The background of it is red,green, blue, and white...
I thought that I loaded the new bootloader(hardspl) when I rooted my phone before, but I guess I didn't ??? I thought the JF build wouldn't install unless it did...
Can I simply just upgrade it to the new bootloader or will I need to do EVVERYTHING starting from rc29 again ?
Perhaps someone will have better advice, but mine would be to reflash the NBH and then reflash JF's ROM
hardSPL can be flashed without otherwise changing your system
just use utmost caution to ensure the checksum of the update file ON YOUR SDCARD is identical to what is says in the SPL thread. Check it inside the terminal on the phone itself.
also, there is always a chance that flashing an SPL could harm your device.

I think that you need to redo the hardSPL again. Just make sure you read and re-read it before you do it. It's been a long time since I did it but mine read:
Dream PVT 32B ENG S-OFF
HBOOT-1.33.2005 (DREA10000)
CLPD-4
RADIO-2.22.19.23 [--I like this radio the best]

I was gonna suggest that haykuro just released a new version of the hardspl that almost doubles the system partition. 89mb of internal mem!!! Since you were flashing anyways. U can find it on his blog.

I have a simple question to ask to "experts." people..
I read and I have documented a lot on how to try to get root on Magic 32B
Vodafone, with perfect spl, donut ... I saw that there are many people who, like
me, can not get root. I personally have tried all the solutions
possible, that are on this forum, and I start to list them.
the final answer is always the same, "fastboot remote: not allow", or other
errors ..
My question is there really a way to get root on this type of
terminal?

Have you tried goldcard method? thats what i had to do for my voda magic
The trouble is to use the Goldcard method you need a Rom version higher than the one you are currently using which just doesn't exist for a lot of new Voda UK users who currently have perfected SPLs along with the latest firmware.

does not work .... I've tried .. when I go to the update of sappimg.nbh, writes to me "Main version is older" "update fail"..........
is impossible to go from 1.6 to donut cupcake 1.5 ..........

Same thing happens to me. I think we will have to wait for a later rom without a perfected spl to become available. Could be some time!

It is possible to root a MT3G with an official fw of 1.6 (donut). Thanks to Amon_Ra's gold card method. Again, it is possible, just keep trying. Don't forget to wipe and make the gold card properly. Again and again, it is possible so quit crying and start working your magic. Right now, I had SPL 000006 (hard SPL, NTT Docomo Japan) and flashed to 2010. <- - -still trying to downgrade to cupcake. My donut is keeping me from unlocking my network. Well, goodluck.

I have G1 and Magic, and G1 is running on Android 1.6 ... but the battery life is really not up to standard. On the other hand, Magic has good battery life but I am stuck!

G1 has smaller batt capacity compared to magic in other words the matt holds less.Which explains short life.
sorry, are you looking for a way to solve your poor battery life issues with the g1, or are you trying to revert from the 1.76 SPL and 6.35 radio back to standard?

If you've got to this stage using the RUU there is currently no way to downgrade. That SPL is perfected.

Gold card method will fail when trying to apply the 2.53.707.2 SAPPIMG with an error stating 'main version is older'
You have to wait until a newer version Engineering ROM is available from HTC. Or maybe a new kernel exploit on 2.6.27 will be found...

There are many many tutorials here that will help. If you would search a bit you would find it rather then expec someone tot ake time out to sit down and hold your hand.
Im not trying to be an ass here, but how will you learn if someone else has to do it for you?
You have a perfected SPL im sure because the fender has 0013 and its perfected. Which means you need to find Amon ras Perfected SPL thread. combine that with the rooting/downgrade methods and you will be all set.
But honestly, if you cant remember the name of a rom you want, then how will you downgrade your phone....

Listen: I've search a lot around at these pages. Many hours!! But as you'll have noticed if you had read my phone specifi, there are not many who can get a SPL 0014 updated. and those you have I'm not sure how they did and what they use.
There's no treats for a SPL 0014 and that's why I started one.
If you don't know how to help me and others who have the same problem then you just don't have to answer.
Hope someone else can help because I really can't find a how to guide for this specific SPL.

I updated to the HTC Sense UI Rom, and it updated my Radio and SPL.
Can someone please point me to the correct link to Root the phone now, the current details of my phone are as follows:
Image Version 3.05.421.3
SAPPHIRE PVT 32A SHIP S-ON H

RADIO-6.35.08.29
I previously had SPL 1.33.0010 and used FlashRec.apk with Amon Ra's Recovery Image for Sapphire c1.6.2H
Am I still able to use FlashRec, and is there a new Amon Ra Recovery Image I must use ... or do I need to do this another way now?
Any assistance will be helpful

I trust you guys to know more than I do ... seems like it's a nice simple one with the right SPL ... only issue now for me, is how to I back up my old one first and is there a way to do it without the SDK cause my computer refuses to install it :/
