what is the best music player for windows mobile??
please someone answer my question. i've tried a lot of applications but i dunno what's the best.

in terms of functionality none of xdadev's trendy players can beat good old gsplayer and mortplayer.
in terms of sound control/quality 40thiplay is best one.

Conduits Pocket Player has been the most reliable player for me. Its power consumption is extremely low; it uses windows media player skins, winamp skins and pocket player skins; and also its extremely customisable.

I found the player great but since I use WM6.5.3, but there's a glitch.

Both of them make a perfect Media setup PocketPlayer for music & CorePlayer for vids
PocketPlayer is also my favorite for music!

I an using the later B&L 2.08.01 WindowsMobile 6 which is very good. The only thing that does not seem to work as well as WM5 is the media player. I have installed TCPMP which is much smoother than media plaer which is very jerky & with big lags between the sound & vision. is there any way to improve it or should I just stick with TCPMP.
I think it's safe to say TCPMP functions much better as a media player! i never use media player!

i like mortplayer with the itune skin
another option is winampaq or whats it's name which is pretty much old winamp from pc's (not very fingerfriendly though)

I like CorePlayer the most because of its very low CPU usage. However, there are a lot of other, great alternatives: iPlay, Pocket Player etc. Please read all my multimedia-related articles if you want to get a full picture of what each of these apps is capable of.
Give MortPlayer a shot
Install MortScript and play with Mortplayer.
Easy basic player not going nuts if you have gigs of music on your SD whith nice sound profiles (in case you don't use WOW-HD sound enhancement.
Thanks for the great info, it'll take some time to read up on all these and make a decision which one to try out first.............

i cannot understand what HTC have done to ppc matter, and all these maniilla era kids too...it is just sad...

S2U??? its crap.... ir could be great just because of how touch friendly it is but seriously i cant stand a media player without a good library and preferably a good playlist function....
unfortunately wmp kicks all other programs when it comes to library and playlist, just holding something and select add to playlist is so great, no other i have found can do that, but wmp stops playing music after phone calls
currently i use MortPlayer just because its "library" is good and it has the changer function so i keeps playing beyond the album i start listening too

IMO Pocket Player has the best library manage:scroll thru album arts ,fast database, etc.
i vote for new Nitrogen player

I think so to
I use "UberMusic" as my primary mp3/music player. Tie it with the "Zune Skin" and you in my shoes.
Stock music player hands down.

It costs 20 USD, but it's worth every cent of it's price. For example, it plays flac format, what the iPod will never do. And, it plays gaplessly; iPod doesn't even know, what does it mean

Thanks for that. Nitrogen seems a really nice simple player, designed by someone who appreciates whats needed on software used by finger touch. And it plays ogg too, the main reason I stopped using the default TF3D player.
Coreplayer's OK, I actually paid for it for playing videos, but it's not very attractive and it's more difficult for finger touch operation.

I use indifferently CorePlayer and S2P.
CorePlayer, which is paying, has the advantage to have its own equalizer.

PocketMusic Player #1 for sure, best equalizer I've ever used and "X Bass" is a really nice feature when you have REALLY good headphones.
the new S2P 0.83 is really good, u can overide windows media player and control it with htc headset music controls. and it looks really nice too.
