hi all,
i have a problem and need your help. I searched a video with google video search but the results found couldn't be opened because there is flashplayer needed... Is it possible to play all the videos in the web or are just youtube videos working???
help please
To my knowledge flash doesnt work unless you use the browser called skyfire.
Is all right but doesnt play good it skips a bit and or slow frame rate.
PIE 6 works for flash video quite well. Try that.
Or keep Opera and look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=544770

Hi Guys,
I have been looking for the Youtube App that I have on my Orbit2, is there a similar app for the x7510 that supports landscape mode ?
if so where can I download this?
Many thanks.
youtube
im looking for it aswell has any one got it (youtube player)
I use Opera 9.5 or Core Player to play youtube videos. I don't know why you would need that "youtube player" thing. I tried that a bout 2 months ago and it was BUGGY as hell. You might end up hard resetting your device. So backup first. Just do a search and you will find the youtube app.
Is it possible that when a youtube link is posted that when clicking it in opera it doesn't just open the page in youtube but instead opens the video in the youtube app so you can actually watch the video since opera doesn't play embeded videos, unless I've missed an app for this.
im also looking for the same thing, does anyone know how?
This has been asked for time and time again, and there's never been a way to do it. I used to love the way that IE would open the YouTube app when you tried to play a YouTube video, but now I use Opera 10 and watch YouTube vids directly on the page they're on, in full screen. It's perfect. If you can get used to the click-to-zoom and back-to-zoom-out idea, Opera 10 is loads better than 9.7, and plays most flash files (once plugins are turned on).
Actually it is Possible.
I have been doing this for a long time in my hd2.
It doesnt work from a www.youtube.com link. The trick is to use the built in opera browser and open the youtube mobile site at m.youtube.com. just click on any of the thumbnail images of the video and the htc youtube app kicks in and plays it in the proper quality not in 3gp quality of the youtube mobile site !!!
you can also convert any normal youtube video link to mobile youtube link by changing the www into w in the link!
it works like a charm!!!

That's obviously only good for if you're on the YouTube site though. It doesn't help for video posted on other sites, as in links to YouTube. I'd still tell everyone who uses YouTube to get Opera 10. It's great!

yes. You are right. an alternative is tap and hold link in opera and open in new tab and edit "www" to "m".
The thing is with opera 10 direct youtube play the video quality is very blocky!
this gives a much cleaner playback.
I have an idea for any devs to develop a small program to translate the desktop youtube link to mobile youtube link on the fly. kind of an intermediate app which captures the link from opera 9.7 translate the link and pass that to the native youtube app! that would be cool!
I had read somewhere long back that i can visit streaming video websites like youtube using the default opera browser, and then whenever theres a streaming video on the page it opens the video in TCPMP. Can anyone help me out with the plugin or that specific version of TCPMP.....any help is appreciated.
PS:Ok, I guess this has been covered somewhere else and i haven't searched hard enough, but I sincerely tried searching and didn't find anything, that is why i'm starting a new topic.
Hi there,
I understand that if I can play the video using chrome browser, I should be able to cast it to the tv from my laptop (windows 7 pro, 64bit).
so i was trying to play the video file on chrome but it cant play! especially when i read from the forums that mp4 are the ones that sure to work.
I have uninstalled and re-installed chrome but still cant work.
I am on the latest version of chrome, Version 30.0.1599.101 m.
the funny thing is it can play on firefox.
I have checked that my plugins are enabled, quicktime, vlc. (any others i need?)
please help.
thanks in advance.
