Does someone know how to modify the date format on the home screen:
e.g. DD/MM/YYYY, dddd/MM/YYYY, etc....
Thanks in advance.

No solutions or locations in the registry?
Man, i've looked everywhere. I already went thru 1.000's of forumposts, i've tried to find a registry-entry that i could edit for this reason.
I also tried the "Diamond TF3D editor" -> appearance -> home and there unchecking the "Use branded style for home screen" option, with no result.
So if anyone has the answer, help is very much appreciated!!
Now i'm always looking at a top bar (Below the Windows flag & task bar) that says:
__________________________________
*** T *** Mobile *__________T-Mobile NL
The left entry *** T *** Mobile * should go and be replaced by the date, just like any screen i've seen here on the forum
I found a solution to hide date.
With "Diamond TF3D editor" go to Appearance -> Date format. Then edit the Date format field and delete enerything. Leave it empty. Save, it will ask you to reboot.
Reboot and voila.
Thanx Freco, but i don't want to loose the date or time. I would like to dump the T-Mobile logo in te upper bar (next to where your phone says: Vodafone GR). I think it is an entry in the registry, but i can't find it, alo because my editors don't allow me to search the registry.

How to do these manila modifications?

Hello all and Happy new year
EDIT: This one is Done
I have a question: Is somebody able to change the date format in Sense 2.5s home screen? When I set the regional settings of my phone to Bulgarian, the whole date is too long and some time goes even under the Alarm time! Can someone make it look as in manila 2.1? the format there was dd/MMMM/YYYY two digit date, name of the month, four digit year.
Now lets see how to do this one
I saw that some links in Sense/Manila's home screen can be changed. Can the "Calendar" link in Sense 2.5's home screen be converted to "Call History"

Thanks for this too but this one adds the Call history and I want to replace the Calendar link! Can somebody provide me with the 2.1 Manila file that is responsible for the home screen links? I'll figure a way to replicate it over the 2.5 file!
BTW I allready changed the Link name! It says "Call History" now instead of "Calendar" but this was very easy. Now I have to figure how to link it to the coresponding manila page and make the link display missed call count.
Any inside on the matter will be very helpfull
Just for reference, the en-gb file you need to edit to change the date format is 333c03cb_manila.
I have successfully changed the date format. It is the Call history that I'm looking at now
Can somebody provide me with the coresponding manila file from Manila 2.1 PLS?

Operator name

Is there anyway to remove the operator name complete?
i like clean screen.
do you mean the name of your Gsm provider?
nope you can´t put away the branding in the settings... you could try a new rom, then it might work
cheers, stephan1
cookie tab editor lets you change the name of the operator and add whatever text you like. It says on the setting screen that you can put a space in if you want it to be empty.

With Cookies Home Tab you can fill in your own operator name, or use a space to leave it blank
is there a way to put a "colorful" or ACTUAL operator logo in place of the plain text?
If you don't or can't use co0kie's home tab, then the attached cab can do the same thing (let you customize or clear the operator name). It does the exact same thing as the feature in CHT, it's just a stand-alone solution. It won't put an icon there, just text.
Install, find the icon in your start menu, run from there.

Find a clock that you like, download the cab file, copy it to your phone and then run it. It's that easy
Be sure you have a clock that is right for your system.
A lot (oh and I mean A LOT) of the clocks on XDA are intended for use with Co0kie's Home Tab (CHT) . These clocks are unlikely to be compatible with your stock Sense.
Having said that, there are plenty of stock clocks out there. Just be sure to check the details in the thread that you downloaded the cab from.
Either way, if you have the right cab for your system, then JCM is right, the process is really very simple. Save the cab somewhere on your device and click on it

This clock is intended for use with Co0kie's Home Tab (CHT) . Do you have this installed?
Yes
- Make sure you have selected a layout that includes an analogue clock.
- You can do this from the home tab, by going 'Menu > Edit home layout > Level 1 - Main Home'
- Then either press and hold on the clock until a sub menu pops up. Scroll through the layouts until you find one you like (which includes an analogue clock) ...
- OR ... select 'Advanced' and use the drop down list to select a clock layout option.
No
- Uninstall the clock
- Install CHT
- Install CHTEditor
- Reinstall the clock cab.
- Follow the instructions above.
thanks for this..
not your fault but my fone is soo screwed...i really need help to sort it out..

[Q] TP2 WM6.5 Today Screen Help

I have a Sprint TP2 with the SPrint WM6.5 ROM.
I am using the "Windows Default" Today Screen Items because HTC Sense is so slow and makes my phone screw up all the time now.
I like it, but I would like to modify which items are on the list. How can I do that?
I can change the items on the list, but once u select the Windows Default, you cannot select anything else. I like the default, but just want to add/remove some stuff.
Thanks in Advance!
Any ideas?
there should be a setting for start menu that allows you to change which programs appear in the pull down menu. i've been using the sense menus lately so i forget how to go back to tell you exactly where to find it but i know its somewhere. if i stumble upon it i'll let you know.

In stock rom there isnt that many options to check/choose from cuz its WM 6.5
To check what is available go to Settings -> Today -> items (tab)
(could be different in Sprint version)
Hope this helps
EDIT:
I hope we were on same page.. or not.. if you want to edit quick links then all you have to do is access pull down menu and on bottom right corner select delete then select all apps to remove them.. after you hit done then plus + sign should show up.. click on it and select app that you want in that place
If I go to the settings for Today, I can choose multiple items, but it looks bad. If I choose Windows Default on the menu, I cannot choose any other items. So I am looking for a way to customize whats in that Windows Default setting. I thought it would be a registry entry or something, but cannot find it.

as far as i know you wont be able to add any stuff same way as you were able to do it in WM 6.0.. Do some research on Spb shell. you may like that or check out Iphone Today Theme on xda-devs.
I have been looking but haven't found anything yet.
I just want to add some items that fit into the Windows Default Today screen item. They already have those slider buttons and I would like to add some new ones.
Try "Home Screen Customizer". I use it to add a contacts panel and a weather panel, but it can do more. You can install it through Windows Marketplace too. Oh, did I mention it's free ? Here's a direct link to the application site: http://homescreencustomizer.spaces.live.com or the link from Marketplace. Hope this is what you're looking for. Thanks.
Doesn't Show Missing Calls?
Hello,
I JUST upgraded to MR2 from verizon on my touch pro 2. My main concern is that it does not show the missed calls on the home screen anymore. I have to go to notifications to click on missed calls to see them.
When i was looking around i saw this thread:
ww.wmexperts.com/tags/touch-pro-2
(sorry i had to take the w out of www to be able to get the link above to post)
and it shows a picture of my phone, with the MR2 upgrade WITH the missed calls showing!
What am i doing wrong? How do i get my missed calls to show back up on the screen.
as a side note, it also shows calendar items, my phone also does not show calendar items. It seems to me that my first row of quick links is up too high (that is where the missing calls and calendar show up on the picture for MR2)
Hi, I just bought a stock Sprint Touch Pro 2 and I really want to find the option that I can disable the HTC sense.
I have tried to find the settings tab but actually my 'settings' is not the one I want. Following is the list of all options in this settings:
Personalize (wallpaper, etc)
Wireless Controls (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, mobile networks, push mail)
Sound & Display
Data Services (options for ActiveSync, social networks, e-mail, etc)
Location (set location service options)
Security (encryption, phone lock and reset)
Application (remove programs, etc)
SD card & phone storage (view available storage)
Date & Time
Locale & text
Updates & feedback
Other (miscellaneous settings - none appear to be relevant)
About phone (battery status, device info)
So by which I can disable the HTC sense?
Thanks first.

Since you are using Win 6.5 and HTC sense is still on you will have to go by this path -
Go to setting > bottom right there is "Menu" written click that > will give you an option of " All Settings " select that > then find the icon name " Today " select that > it will take you to a screen where u will have two tabs on the bottom left - " Appearance" & "Items" here select " Items " > You will have a list of itmes the third one will be will be checked -"HTC Sense" - uncheck it > then click OK on the top right.
You will now have HTC sense disabled. If you want to re-enable just check it again and click OK !
Hope this helps!
Thank you very much for your reply, abhisahara
I have got it
Thanks again!
