Hi everyone!
I wasn't successful to port a BFS kernel patch for the android 2.6.29-donut kernel. Now my question is: Could someone share a bfs patch?
BTW, I compiled the experimental android BFS kernel source with the config from my running device. But if I fastboot the experimental BFS kernel. The device will not start. Does someone know why?

Hi
Just flashed to NexusBeam Rom and flashed glados kernel 2.4
i can see in settings-->about the the kernel is in the correct version but it adds dirty at the end, what does it mean ?
From what I understand, it means there are some modifications that are still not committed into the branch when you build the kernel.
hi developers... i was Reading something in internet about kernels and it makes me think about this question:
- is there a posibility to build a 2.6.38 or 3.0 kernel for our O1? if not: why?

I'm newbie and I've successfully compiled the default cyanogenmod kernel. My next step is to upgrade the kernel from version 3.4.67 to 3.4.106. I read about linux kernel patching but all my attempts to patch the kernel failed.
Can someone please let me know how can I patch the kernel from version 67 all the way to 106?
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
I'm on OmniROM 4.4.4 with Franco r63.
I want to apply this patch: https://github.com/pelya/android-keyboard-gadget
but I can't seem to find any way to download the r63 release source.
I should mention that I'm new to compiling android kernels (but I have compiled regular linux kernels back to 2.0.x versions)
Thanks.
