I am using a Calculin kitchen ROM I cooked up with some tweaks. Nothing hard core. I miss one thing from stock though... With stock, going to setting/menu/phone network in manilla would let you change bands. I want to try to get this in winmo6.5.x Possible oh gurus of the phones?
I have no idea how to do it, but I do know that it is possible, as it exists in MightyMike's 6.5.3 Rom

Here is a simple program. Just copy it to your windows-start menu- programs folder.

If I wanted to try a different touchflo, could I just put it on the Fuze, or do I need to flash my ROM?
What I'm eventually thinking of doing is doing a hard reset and remove the ATT bloatware. As long as everything works (BT,GPS,Voice Commander,Opera, etc) after that, I'll leave it be.
But I wanted to try a different touchflo3D. Since the ONLY issue I see so far is the GPS lag that most people have, I didn't want to change the stock ROM/radio since its working for me.
As far as i know, you dont need to flash your rom. Disable TF3D in today settings and install the new version of manila. do a soft reset and activate manila again in the todaysettings.... thats all...

Oh you brought up a good point, I never thought of. If I try a different touchflo, it'll overwrite my original, right? Is there a way for my to uninstall it and go back to the original if I don't like it?
Are you just talking about changing the TF3d theme? That's no big ordeal and only requires a soft-reset once the new theme has been loaded. There's an AT&T theme that you can use to put things back the way they were also.
Themes here:

(im new to TF3D) i just put a new theme on my fuze (the htc one), and it feels a lot slower than the original att theme that i had
using NotATreoFan's ROM
i cant find a manila tf3d cab from a touch diamond pro to put on my fuze i have looked and looked can someone help plezzz
What exactly are you trying to change about TouchFLO?
If you're trying to improve performance, I don't believe there's any advantage to the HTC OEM TF3D vs the AT&T branded one. In fact, installing it again will just take up more memory, which is more likely to decrease performance. Try installing Touch Pro Tweak/Diamond Tweak and using it to tweak TouchFLO for speed.
If you're trying to remove the AT&T tab, there are several Manila (codename for TF3D) customizers which will do this; they also allow you to make other modifications.
If you want a 'better' TF3D, there are TF3D2 "Rhodium Manila" beta cabs sitting around; I don't believe any of them are perfect, but the newer ones seem to be working pretty nicely (i.e. no major usability glitches).
If you really want to improve how the phone works, including how TouchFLO works, you can flash a new ROM. There are dozens of guides floating around on how to do it, and as long as you're careful, the process is reversible so you can still send the phone to AT&T if you have a warranty complaint.
i have the oem for tf3d1 cfc with the original htc theme. you can prolly put it into a cab or grab the files you need or something. im not sure if it will install over. i put it into the kitchen when im building.
i used to have a tilt and i would soft reset it before att would load all their bull i did that on my fuze and tf3d wasn't there thats why i need a tf3d cab i tryed the rhodium cad and every thing didn't work like my email and i want a youtube short cut on the internet tab and the theme sucks i need someone to sit down and show me how to flash a rom i read all the threads about it but im a hands on person so thats where im at on roms
Ok so i can change the theme but its hard finding one that works well i have the HTC black theme but it makes the touchflo run vary vary slow even when i tweak the memory setting but what really want is to get the youtube shortcut on the internet tab can someone help me with that
Look here for several tweaks that will have your phone running like a champ. Mine is like a new phone after going through the thread.
due to the lack of organized and specific category about this in this forum, I'm having trouble looking for custom taskbar icons for my 6.5.3 omnia 2....
please help me find these threads/sites/links? I've found some, but unfortunately it's <=5 and not really suited with my taste, I think there should be more set out there but I don't know where.
OMG, nobody can help?
Hi... im having the same problem... also im trying to find a solution so that i can have HTC task manager with 6.5.3 WM. they have the battery and the time so there's no place for HTC TM... if you have found anything.... Thanks...
as far as I know one is needed to use a hexeditor to edit the dlls where the icons are located and maybe one can only put the dll's back in by making a custom rom
I'm sure this has already been asked though for the life of me I can't find out where.
What I'm looking to do is change a custom ROM's wireless signal/battery/phone mode/etc icons back to the WM 6.5.3 default. I have a TP2 and would appreciate any help anyone has, be it links or cabs or whatever.

Hold on...let me get this straight. You want to return back to the stock rom that originally came with the phone
or
Instead you would like to return to default settings of the cooked rom you just recently flashed...?
Not the ROM itself, just the icons in the top bar, the stock graphics from a 6.5.3 ROM.

I'm embarrassed to have to post this, but I've looked everywhere and I'm lost...I have a TP2 through US Cellular (CDMA) and I just need to know what version of Sense UI I'm running. My ROM is stock 2.01.573.3 if that helps. I want to learn how to tweak things with a new ROM but I want to make sure I know where I'm at and what I'm doing before I start. What's the easiet way to know what UI i'm using? Thank in advance!
WM 6.5 sense 2.1
Thank you...one more question: One of the main things I want to do is add a few icons to my main homepage (under call history, where the calendar items are now). Can I do this with a theme or would that require a different ROM?
Different ROM. Requires sense 2.5. You can add a programs tab to your touchflo.
