Hi all,
Is there a way to save my sms.
Do a hard reset, then put back my sms.
Thanks you in advance.
smmonla
The file is
windows/PalmMsgV001
Thanks a lot.
So all I have to do is copy it, do a hard reset then copy it back.
yes - it has worked for me in that way. In fact I have moved them between my 750 & tytn - which I added this threaded sms program to.
Thanks, it worked great.

Click to collapse
I also use Jeyo on my other WM devices. But, yes, Jeyo doesn't work with Palm's threaded messaging app.
Is there an alternative to Jeyo that works with Palm's threaded messaging app? Anybody?
I am using a freeware Dr. Neil's SMS Utils 0.9 to read and write text mesage from PC, its 3 year old and meant for winmobile 2002, but works good on winmobile 2006.
Can any body suggest better application for same work?
jeyo mobile
jeyo mobile is the best but its not free !!!

Jeyo Mobile companion 2.0. I have been using the 30 day trial version since Saturday, and also allows you to manage your contacts, so if you dont use Outlook you acan add and remove contacts and call history. It also lets you manage your Homescreens and sounds from your PC. It's faster than booting up Outlook to alter something in your contacts list.
Great
Jeyo Mobile companion 2.0 is very good. I was looking like a program. Thanks very much Rolandh...
Hello,
Palm threaded SMS messaging is installed by default in my ROM. I hate it, because it stores its data outside of the built-in Windows SMS manager, Outlook Mobile. So with Palm threaded Messaging, Jeyo mobile doesn't work any more.
How can I put Outlook mobile as my SMS manager instead of Palm Threaded Messaging ?
Thanks. Chris

there is Jeyo Mobile Extender, but it's not a freeware
hm, that where is. But at the moment i dont have money to buy that.
No freeware of so?
Sorry for the bump guys but I figured I'd rather bump then make a new thread.
I'm looking for a app which allows me to manage sms messages from Microsoft Outlook (send, delete, store etc) as well. Using a HTC Touch Pro 2 with WM6.1
Now is there some freeware app which allows you to achieve this? Or is Jeyo the only way out?
Appologies if this is in the wrong topic/forum!
There is a way...

For me - pure honey
is there good SMS software for windows mobile, I dont mind paying for it. as long as its good to use.
have threaded sms conversations, etc.
245 view and not a single reply?
Havent used it on the HD2 yet however used it on my Touch. Vito SMS Chat is a great program. Loads fast, threaded convo, many skins available, scrolls fast etc. Overall i think its a great app to use for sms.
Unlike resco contact manager etc which is a great app as well containing threaded messaging, Vito purley is sms, it allows you to use your standard dialler etc.
yes vito sms chat is the best alternative to htc message, but....
if you don't disable htc sense (or at least htc message with this cab ) you can use alternative sms programs just to see incoming and outgoing messages, 'cause htc message "rules" over any other related program, so you can't send anything with the alternative program.
However, I've tried vito sms chat after disabling htc message and it works fine on my HD2
Last thing: if you disable htc message, you need also another app for mms (vito sms chat doesn't manage them)...arcsoft mms is the most recommended on this forum
