BT-Alert v0.2 beta 1 Codename: WolfBT Released !!!

We have finally released our most recent version of BT-Alert.
BT-Alert v0.2 beta 1 has been codenamed WolfBT.
Here comes the exciting part of our new release:
Changes and new additions:
-Totally new bluetooth engine.
-Now accepts 5 simultaneous incoming requests
-You can now even accept 5 different requests from 5 different people all at the same time
-New simple yet effective user interface
-Added new Bluetooth control panel to control bluetooth functionality
-Added new Settings panel to customize your bluetooth audio alert and location of saved files.
-Added new bluetooth chat experience by adding two new components:
--Added BT UltraChat v0.1 panel as a new addition to the TANworks™ Windows Mobile BT Addon. This new addition allows you to send text messages to any nearby bluetooth enabled phone. It's very easy to use, all you have to do is just search for nearby phones, select your desired phone, type in your message, and simply click send. That's it, it's as simple as that
--Added a new option that will detect incoming text messages from nearby bluetooth enabled phones or devices. When you recieve a text message as a text file, BT-Alert will open the txt file and will show you the message along with BT message sender's name
-BT Alert's stability and efficiency has dramatically increased, thus decreasing overall power consumption
-BT Alert now minimizes down on your taskbar as an icon when placed in standby mode and can be maximized again by clicking that same icon
-BT Alert now has the ability to detect Arabic named files and save them in their original Arabic form.

Installation instructions:
- Download zip file from forum and extract cab file.
- Install Cab File and soft reset device when requested.
- Make sure you have MS .Net compact framework v2.0 ARMv5 installed on your device as this version of BT-Alert only runs on windows mobile 2005 and is not backwards compatible with older versions.

does this support a2dp and acvrp??
because iv'e just installed this option on my dutch spv m600 and i still want to use these functions so my first question is will it delete all my bluetooth settings???
Next question on what device is this app tested???
Is it an app that uses the microsoft bt-stack or does it install a hole other bt-pack??

This addon was designed to run along with the MS BT Stack. It will not replace or install another stack other than the original MS BT Stack. This new addon will not replace your original BT settings, infact it will enhance your BT experience. It has been on all pocket PCs running both WM2003se and WM2005... So Enjoy.

is there any conflict between Wolf BT and DR YAR BT brogram
I installed WolfBT in my Imate pocket PC and uptonow every thing look perfect.
But I would like to know if there is any conflict if I use DRYAR bluetooth program along with this program as it shows the file name and the sender name during the file transfer.

Intro:
- many of base roms appeared here and every one has advantages and disadvantages, so before 2-3 weeks i started to collect and mix the contents for every base rom to get a new base rom which has advantages for every base rom and removing many of issues.
- the base roms are 15341, 15342, and 1413 ( with some of 1437 apps).
- many of chefs and cookers using compressed of OS dll's which make the device has many and many of issues (maybe they don't know), but with this release i didn't compress any dll or module, (NOTHING COMPRESSED).
- many of roms integrate Touch apps which has many of issues, so i didn't integrated any of touch contents, if you want them install them yourself).
- i can't collect all of users favorite apps or settings, so if you want to do it yourself use the official rom then install whatever you want.
- some of apps have older version, i know there are newer but that means there are issues with the newer one.
- if there are some updates you will see the last update on the title and at the begining.
- if you didn't try TNT series before, you have to have a look.
- TNT series don't include SPL, IPL, ... etc, JUST the OS rom, so its very safe for G4 users.

- You MUST have an IPL and SPL at 2.xx or higher (BOTH not just one or the other).
- there are two update utilities on the rar file, one for XP and the other for Vista. But if you have Vista you have to visit this thread, then use Vista utility (Worked for me "i have Vista").
- If you want to improve A2DP; edit it by any Tweaking app like this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=291770 or search for that

I'm currently running TNT3.0 Professional but rarely use the extra apps. It looks like TNT4.0 Official has everything I need except:
- PIM Backup 2.5 (I sync via Exchange server but this backs up ringtone settings)
- Total Commander
- Internet Sharing
- Remote Desktop Mobile
- black Keyboard skin (looks nice in TNT3.0)
I can get PIM Backup 2.5 and Total Commander. The black Keyboard skin is around here somewhere I'm sure.. I have Remote Desktop Mobile from this thread. However - where can I find a CAB to add Internet Sharing? I found a couple threads that list an EXE a DLL and a shortcut along with a couple registry places to export. I can get the shortcut and registry from my TNT3.0
but can't copy the EXE or DLL off the phone..

no, it wasn't included, because the kitchen can't cook with overload size, but if many like a special version i will work for that and looking for the apps which be must removed.

[new VoIP 19/Oct/2007] TNT.1921 Series (Official/Professional/TouchFLO) 5.2.1921

Sorry for this late, it was to get some improvments, and i choosed today because it is the first day of our celebrating days, feel free to congratulate.

Intro:
After the successes with our last TNT versions, i worked on the newest build 5.2.1921 which is more better than any previous build. and with this new build also i fixed some other major issues on the WM 6.0 for wizard. In addition, i found new ideas to try to cover the most users needs, the details below.
This build done using the drivers as modules, like the official releases.
The new fix this time is VoIP issue with the builds came after 5.2.318, if you setup your VoIP account and call the sound will pass through the internal speaker instead of external speaker (as usual), and finally this has been fixed, this is in addition of the previous issues which has been fixed (wait, we just found something new about this thing, read this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1580313&postcount=54)
- When you call someone and he didn't answer you get connected instead of call ended.
- When you call a busy number also you will get connected instead of busy
- When you have GPRS Connected and someone called you and you didn't answer this calling will shown as recieved call instead of missed
- When you have a call and recieve a call (waiting) and you didn't answer, this calling will shown as recieved call instead of missed.
- When you open start/settings/Phone then directly press ok button, your personal tone will change to the default
- Some of roms have the issue with cannot open the wifi from the first time
- When you change the notification to vibration, then change it again to ring mode, the device still on vibration till you play your ring again or change your ring
- some roms can't start the wifi directly
- MMS 4.2.8.1 sounds and files pluging error (if you right click on the file don't show send via MMS)

too many users asked me to create a rom with adding the touch scrolling, and also others asked me to have more stuff in the TouchFLO edition, what i did for them!!! i create a rom with all professional+HTC home stuff with Touch scrolling feature without the cube, and the cube you can add it manually by an Add On (tested for 4 days and very very well). And all other editions don't include any of Touch stuff or driver. So, we have some new edits on the choices, you have to read carefully to know which version is suitable for you.
Vanilla Edition:
nothing, just the base rom and OEM drivers;
no camera, no MMS, no WML, no Office... etc
so don't ask for the kitchen, just extract official build using Core kitchen then use the SYS folder and OEM packages from this, then add whatever you want.

If you're interested, I'd gladly make versions of all downloads that have different page pools for you to add as mirrors. I was thinking 8 and 10MB mirrors? What do you think?

i finished all the thread but it should be reread by me, but i can't complete because really i can't open my eyes any more, Bed Time.
Please anyone can help me on doing screen shuts for any verion (professional and higher) with good picture choices to show the real thing about this release, and then make all the picture in one picture, i really need this (me and others who like to see all about this work)

Yes, v2.5 of PIMBackup is in the Professional rom, so I'm sure its in the others (pretty much just like 1437 and TNT5.0 roms).

TUTORIAL: Make Opera Mini (4.1) your default system browser!

In my last (and, now, heavily outdated) article on making Opera Mini 4 be invoked on my just clicking a URL, I’ve already elaborated on the advantages of doing this (and, actually, the advantages of Opera Mini 4 itself). Please do read it if you want to know why making use of direct invocation can be really advantageous.
Because there’s a lot of news worth reporting on (and I’ve been asked by Serola to join the Opera Mini Fan Blog as the first blogger, because of which I've decided to update this really important tutorial) and the original article didn’t elaborate on other mobile platforms like Symbian and BlackBerry, I’ve decided to devote an entirely new article to this question.
1.1 badbob101’s StartOperaMini
(the download is at the bottom of the first post; as of 05/12/2008, 09b is the latest version, which you'll want to go for.)
I recommend this solution the most because it’s really-really easy to install and maintain and it’s much more flexible than, say, superdave’s, otherwise, in some respects cleaner and faster solution.
All you need to do is, in order to set it up, downloading and installing the free MortScript (just copy the MortScript-4.1-PPC.cab file from the cab subdirectory of the ZIP file to your handset and tap it there) and, then, just copying StartOperaMini.mscr anywhere (including a storage card) on your handset and, as with MortScript, clicking it from File Explorer. It’ll automatically find the current location of Jbed, the index of Opera Mini and set up everything just fine. Unlike with the early solution, absolutely no manual setup is needed.
Note that, after running it, in addition to several property files, two link files will also be created. Feel free to manually copy them to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs so that they are easily accessible (not just from a file explorer):

The - in the above screenshot highlighted - Start Opera Mini Setup lets you fine-tune your settings:
You, in most cases, won’t want to touch this. However, there are cases when you will want to do this; most importantly, when you want to enable the browser selector screen (see Badbob’s early script version’s default functionality) upon every invocation:
Another recommended setting you can do is NOT forcing the script to kill the already-running Jbed / Opera Mini session by double-tapping Kill Jbed first [Yes] item; the results of this will be as follows (with the given item highlighted):
Also note that you can also directly edit these options in the configuration file, StartOperaMini_ini.txt. For example, not letting for the killing of Jbed (to greatly speed up initial page loading and also keeping the already-opened pages in memory), just change kill_jbed(1) to kill_jbed(0) (that is, 1 to 0 in the parentheses) in it.
1.2 Other Windows Mobile solutions
You might also want to check out JZ SmartMort’s script-based solution, particularly recommended for MS Smartphone users and superdave’s native C++ program HERE. Note that the latter doesn’t let for using Jbed elsewhere than under \Windows\ and it doesn’t support the enhanced, autocomplete-capable 4.1 interface; you’ll need to switch to the pre-4.1 input mode by clearing the "Direct Address Input" checkbox in Setings.

1.3 Other operating systems
Unfortunately, other mobile operating systems don’t support this kind of operation. However, nothing is lost! Unlike under Windows Mobile (particularly on MS Smartphone devices with their pretty much restricted – no copy/paste features built-in, for example – OS), it’s very easy to quickly invoke a given URL in both Symbian and BB.
1.3.1 Symbian
In Messaging, highlight the URL:
Press the left softkey and select Copy:
Switch to Opera Mini, press #1, press the Delete ("C") and, then, the Down buttons once to highlight "Insert symbol":
Now, long-press the Pen button until "Paste" is shown over the right softkey:

Not releasing the Pen button, press the right softkey; the contents of the clipboard are copied to the text input area:
You can, now, go on as usual by sumbitting the URL:
1.3.2 BlackBerry
In the mailer, highlight the URL by going up/down with the trackball:
Press the Menu button (NOT Action! The latter will take you straight to the built-in browser) and select Copy:

Switch / go to OM and press #1; press Del once to delete the contents of the input field and roll the trackball down to highlight "Insert symbol":
Press the trackball and select Paste:
The URL is pasted to the input field:
Now, just press the trackball three times (the first will be an OK; the third):

Note that this will work in all cases, even with true HTML mails even with the latest, 4.5 beta OS, because the current, still non-upgraded BIS / BES servers still send out non-HTML mails to clients. An example of an otherwise full HTML mail sent as plaintext:
Incidentally, the case is exactly the same with Symbian - that is, you'll always be presented pure-text versions of HTML mails with easily-to-copy links.

Excellent update. I'm not sure if I'm missing anything, but I never could figure out a way to copy and paste in Opera Mini on WM6. You addressed Symbian and BB, am I missing something already known or is this not possible?

- Mort has allowed me to distribute his FREE MortScript, when you install JZ SmartMort it will place Mort's CAB files in the "MortScript Installs" folder, found underneath your JZ install location. This makes it easier to install all components necessary to run my software w/o having to download more from the web.
- CAB file will create a Start Menu shortcut for JZ Installer.
- Pulled out the .Net executable file from the pack, found a MortScript workaround instead.
- Storing everything in the registry. Optimized scripts for light memory usage and speed.
- Added PPC support to map the JZ Action script to the Application 2 hardware button.
- Added NetFront 3.5 support and verified all Opera Mini versions above 3.1
- Default browser has a timeout now which is user defined, default is 5 seconds.
- Opera Mini enhancements: 8 paste methods, adjust trim units, use different methods to pop the Opera Mini URL input screen and enable/disable "Auto-Complete Address Input"
- Ability to create the Opera Mini shortcut on your Start Menu.
- You can use the action/button mapped script to choose a JBed/Java app from a list. Added a JBed security prompt patcher along with the Application Unlocker which is also a part of the pack.
- HELPERS folder underneath the JZ installation area has scripts to reset device, kill voice notes, list JBed apps to run, Kill IE & Kill MortScript.exe.
- Ability to reset JZ SmartMort settings.
- Ability to select with cursor & copy to the clipboard (will ask how many seconds to allow cursor selection)

Are you using JZ SmartMort? If yes, then there's an option under JZ Settings > Browser > Patch IE Icon.

ot: duz Opera mini support www.hotmail.com? i can't seem to login, it says cookie on a blank page when i login

I used Opera Mini 2 years ago and hated it. I love 4.1 with JZ MortScript.
It has overtaken Opera 9.5 beta and Access Netscape with their high memory usage and 'out of memory' popups that are so annoying.

Signed and Verified Opera mini 4.1
Does anyone have and Signed and Verified Opera Mini 4.1 you can upload or point me to?
I tried to download it from Opera but my 8525 is only tested/approved for Mini 3 and the version of 4.1 I get is unsigned and unverified.
I would really like to be able to download/upload from the browser.

You should be able to do everything that a signed version can...
If you use my software, under "JZ Misc." settings is a "Security" option which will allow you to tell JBed to never prompt you with warnings. Making your unsigned version work the same in JBed as a signed one would.

Worked to perfection. Thank you very much. I'm downloading your 1.4.2cab now.

I'm having a few problems.
1. I can't fully uninstall the program. I wanted to remove 1.4.1 before installing 1.4.2.
2. I flashed my device to clear some issues. Now opera mini won't paste and open a link from my email. This is whether I am using 1.4.1 or 1.4.2.
Please assist.

Bolt has always been a Java browser, that's why I don't use it. It feels too limited for me.

I have made a bundled for local install. However, the notify still connects, but it should minimize the download. Full Cert version (dual signed) attached. Unzip, run the jad using your Java (JBED/JBlend). It should use the local bolt.jar file.
Java or not Java, I've been enjoying Opera Mini a lot, and been beta testing BOLT (not so good that time). I'll test again now that they have much richer options (including disable picture/image, which is important to me)

Does anyone know how to get the youtube flash content working in bolt? When I click on the selected video it ask to "Open URL"? And when I click yes it says, "Opera Invoke error". Any Ideas? Do I possibly need another program or something to get this to work.

Yes - Boltbrowser automatically updates to 2.3 which introduced a dowload site to help them make some money. Now that Skyfire has abandoned WM I use Bolt more along with Opera mini.
Every browser has advantages and disadvantages. I like the RSS feeds and large fonts.
