Welcome Splash

Hi all,
Here's a splash screen set I did for myself. The main download is "Welcome Splash.zip". This contains all the necessary files and instructions to install it to your device.
The second download is "Splash.zip". This is for advanced users only and is the Splash.nb file for cooking into a ROM.
10-10-08 - Source Graphics and Font files uploaded.
N.B. I'm not a designer, I didn't do the artwork, just the packaging.

I like the look a lot! Very clean and modern-artsy-looking-kinda-thing.
You wouldn't happen to have the same screen without the Welcome/Loading, would you? I'd like to see about getting the HTC logo where it says Welcome, or something to that effect.

Animated GIF
Hi all,
I've uploaded the image and font file I used to make the splash screens. If anybody could make an animated GIF with text fading in and/or out that would complete the set. I don't know how to do this.

Ok i was impressed by your iplayer post thanks for that now here is the help you wanted animated gif (right click save as)
Shows loading 1sec then welcome screen PM me for changes

are there any vga splash screens?

Since the Kaiser forum is a qvga forum, you might try over at the raphael/diamond forums.

I'm not sure if I didn't do something right here or not, but I still see the AT&T Globe icon in between your new screen, and the 3G woosh screen still runs. Is this normal? I do see your new welcome screen, but in between is the AT&T globe and then the 3G graphics. That's what i would like to eliminate...
Oh well, I will wait to see what everyone else has...

Hi
The screen you are talking about is the HTC animation screen. This is the software HTC loads into its ROMs which displays "animated.gif" on start up. You should install schaps advanced config 3.3. In this program you have the option of disabling this part of the start up sequence.

Is it me or is the transition the wrong way round? Shouldn't it go from "Welcome" to "Loading" not the other way round?

I tried to use the neue helvetica 35 thin font, but for some reason I could not get that installed on my Photoshop. So I am using another font.
Here is my version.
Right click on the first image(with just W) and save. This is the animated.gif file. The image(Welcome) is just a screen image.

Hi everybody,
I want to create a animated bootup screen.
since im pretty high skilled in adobe flash pro i wanted to make a nice
bootup animation together with a relaxing sound
i know i got to use a .WAV file for the sound, i think i'll be able to add that
into my booting screen.
but my question is :
what size does it need to be ...x... ?
what format do i have to use so it will actually work ( will be neat after alot of work )
i know it is possible, i did try to search for a ''how-to'' but couldn't find one.

Size is 800x480, format is animated GIF.
Use Schapman's Advanced Config to change the startup sound and animation

sorry for the late responce, i working on it, its looking nice so far
the fading affect is done, now trying to add a reflection, like metal flickering in
the light of the sun
ill post it when its done.

this is a basic thing, tell me what u want change, trying to give it the refection but it doent come out nice enough yet
got to waste some time on that.

Need some help

hey peeps
I've my.HD2for a few weeks now and there's a few things id like to change but I lack the knowledge of how.
1)id like to move the slide to unlock to the bottom of the screen, and make it semi see through.
2)it would be nice to have the today screen a lot clearer is there a file I can adjust? to do so
im pretty good with PhotoShop would love to put my bit into the community
I've got some theme ideas id like to share
I've noticed a lot of mods are in cab format how do I turn a theme or a taskbar icon pack into one?
I appreciate any help and ifsomeone can forward links that would really get me started

Right i've found the images for the Opera Startup screen, and the lock slider. But i can't find the graphics for the sense clock? where are they?

Start menu fading taskbars

When you open the start menu in Windows mobile 6.5.x it fades the taskbars out slightly.
I want to stop it from doing this as it kinda makes my theme look rubbish.
How does it fade it out & how can I change it?
is it a image file mask that I could replace for something entirely transparent?
or is it an entry in the registry that I could change?

I thought I had managed it by changing the wallpaper, but its still bugging me.

Don't think this is possible, at least not with simple registry edits .
If anyone has any ideas, though, please share them! I'd like to see this as well.

Start Text & Icon ***No Start***

There is a way, but I can't for the life of me find the thread for it. They are just simple .cabs, I had looooads but I deleted them after installing Windows 6.5.x as I didn't need to use them. I'll keep searching and hopefully someone will link you to a thread in the meanwhile!

Was getting a little frosty in my other thread..
I'm looking for a few things for 6.5...
1) A collection of start icon's (only the icon, no text). Also a separate remove text cab would be nice as I've seen a few others that would give a limb for one...
2) I've not yet seen any of these yet but I'm after a collection of animated load icons (you know, the win icon that spins)
3)A collection of stand alone volume skins. Have seen a couple of these but they always seem to incorporate something else (not that I'm picky lol)
I'm mainly looking for Dusk and Anastasia themed items but i would love to see what else is out there!

Any hints to threads would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks a lot. Tried but no help. The taskbar I use is from anastasia. However the Start icon change in itself is not possible.
Also the "Start" text written on the top cannot be removed. Is there a way for it really.
It will eb a very nice idea to make a collection of
Volume icons
SMS icons
Battery icons
Start icons
and customization of start text.
Anyone upto it?

You can definitely, definitely change just the icon alone. I just can't find the damned things!
*Edit* This is how to do it manually, there are some cabs floating about though...

I've found an answer to that, thanks to dafunk2.
TO ALL OF YOU THAT WANT ONLY THE CUSTOM WAIT CURSOR:
No guys, there is no way to make a cab for only the custom wait cursor.
This is because the custom wait cursor graphics are into the file shellres.192.dll. Into this file reside also many of the taskbar icons and other miscellaneous graphics. If I make a cab with only the file shellres.192.dll and you install it, you will have my wait cursor, but you will have many of my taskbar icons as well. It's good if you use my taskbar (but if you use my taskbar you already have my cursor ), but if you use another taskbar....you can easily understand what can happen.
So this is why there's no way to make a cab that installs only the cursor.
I'm thinking about to make some colors variations of the cursor, but I think that I will make them for cookers (and who knows how to edit dlls) and I will post the 32bit bitmaps in the Windows Mobile Themes section.
I'm sorry.....but I'm explaining why this is impossible

This removed the 'Start' Txt from the upper left Start Button. I'm using T-Mobile US.
