I don't think it's a registry,
You need to find how to edit audiopara.csv or just find a cab and install.
Actually, look Here
and

Added In-Call Volume and Ring volume

Sorry if this has already been posted but there are a couple of things that are worth outlining to most users.. for example there are registry entries that allow you to change the volume and increase it significantly beyond windows actually supports and there are various other edits.. but one edit i really would like is to disable the Incoming Call Bubble..(haven't found a solution for it yet) but i thought i'd just provide everyone else with what i've found so far. (I take no credit for these registry edits)
Volume Edits
HKCU\ControlPanel\Volume\
DWORD - Ringer
(HEX)Increase it to 0x#<change it to 5 or higher> to increase it to its maximum volume. - Only tested on the Atom Life
(DEC)Increase it to over 5 to increase the volume
DWORD - Volume
Same as Ringer DWORD
In Call Edits
REMOVE SOUNDS WHEN ADJUSTING VOLUME INCALL
HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\StandardIncallVolume
HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\QuietestIncallVolume
HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\LoudestIncallVolume
STRING - Script
Remove the 'p' in the script strings to remove the noises while in a call. This makes the volume increase smoother and removes the annoying noises.
INCREASE INCALL VOLUME
HKCU\Control Panel\SoundCategories\InCall
DWORD - InitVol
Defaults to around 2 - 5, Increase this to 5 or Higher
Ringtone Edits
HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\Ringtone0
STRING - Script
RINGTONE VOLUME
HKCU\Control Panel\SoundCategories\Ring
DWORD - InitVol
Defaults to around 2 - 5, Increase this to 5 or Higher
Notifications Edits
HKCU\ControlPanel\Notifications
This works for any Script DWORDs in most if not all of those strings.
EG. To Show the icon on the taskbar, vibrate and play the sound selected
Reg: HKCU\ControlPanel\Notifications\Phone\Options
HEX Value - 0x3
DEC Value - 3
PS: If this is already done.. Close the thread or PM me and i'll delete it.

What should I edit to increase the system sound volume (i.e the volume of music playing)
Also, please tell me how much to increase so that I do NOT damage my device in any case.
Thanks
Hope this can go in the guides thread.

I read the guide, but there's a confusion.
What should I modify to increase the volume of the music playing, and also by what value should I increase so as NOT to damage the device.
THanks

Okay essentially, you open the registry editor on your phone and then make your way to the Volume String. from there you'll see a number of DWORDS and what not. Select Volume and edit the value. Change it to something like 5 or higher than the value that was already there. Soft reset after that
Alternatively you can install the SRS WOW HD driver if your phone supports it (most phones do). Download it Here
ok, the guide was moved to the GUIDES thread... post 25.
Can someone tell me how to edit the registry to get max bluetooth volume and max system volume?
Sorry if its on the forum somewhere, I couldn't find it. thx
So we have root!
Somebody known app or tweak to increase the ringer volume?
Thx
I have no idea!
The volume of the ringer in my X10i is also too bad.
sometime I can't hear what the people said.
I also want to know how to change it.
So no one found a way to increase the ringer volume? I feel sometimes that I am going deaf. I may have to change my ringtone, but this is really annoying missing calls while you are driving.
Ringer as well as incall volume is too low in the X10.

true, but at least I can illuminate the in call volume issue with using bluetooth headset but the ringer...
This is weird that there is no hack for it.
Just use a decent ringtone, I've not found the volume to be a problem.
hey guys
i know theres not a hack for the volume ringer, but what i did was i use a program which can edit music files on my PC, and i just increase the actual volume of the file itself. then i transfer it to my phone and it plays a lot louder on the speaker. hopefully that can work for some of u
the program i use is called 'cool edit pro' however im sure theres a couple of programs which can do the same thing.
the effect is called 'increase amplitude', i usually use a scientific filter to decrease the amount of base in a song (which hte x10's speakerphone distorts anyways) and then increase the amplitude by about 10dB's. makes it a lot louder on the actual phone vs just putting the original mp3 in.

Ringtone is decent, volume sucks.
Thanks for your solution but that wasn't what I was looking for. I want to explode my speaker and I am looking for a hack.
Cheers,
search google for editing audiopara.csv, not sure how to do it myself as I find the volume to be mostly fine, but that is the key to changing it
just lookied at my /system dump, it's actualy audiofilter.csv on x10, and it's in system/etc
thank you for you answer
/system/media/audio/ui/. Some files in there, likely the Effect_Tick.ogg or maybe a Keypress*.ogg.
thanks but thats not the solution
i know where is the file and if i play it in the player it is much louder (playing through the media vol) than played by the system ui vol
how can i control the system ui volume?
Pretty much all of your options are located in the Settings -> Sound menu. If they're at full, pretty much the only feasible way to increase sound is to either:
1. Edit the files i mentioned (audacity, for example, can do this)
2. Use an app such as Volume+. I'm unsure if this works on ICS though, i've not needed to jack up the volume myself.
Thanks
but you are still wrong i have volume+
and the touch volume is not controlled by any of the sound sliders in the sound menu
unless you put on vibrate then its mute
I have rooted samsung tab a T285 LTE with android 5.1.1, and i want to increase the volume of the headset, i don't find mixer_gain in system/etc folder to modyfi the volume.

There are a bunch of values you can tweak under /system/etc/tiny_hw.xml. I don't know if these work and I haven't tried this personally myself, if it does help do post feedback.

Hi, just curious how do you know its that xml (tiny_hw.xml)?
I understand that different device different xml. My point is its not a standard xml for all android device.
Fyi i havent tried but would like to increase the volume of speaker.
Update. I edited the value of HPL volume and HPR volume from 8 to 10 and SPKL volume and SPKR volume from 10 to 15.
Much louder now, more clarity i can say than the default one.
Heres the screenshot

yes, this is not standard xml, this only applies for spreadtrum based devices which the T280 and T285 is based on.
Thanks for trying it out. I will also try those values out myself and set it as the default for my future builds if it works.
