Apple Iphone's APP on WM, is it Possible? - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

Hello! Is it possible to run Iphone's games on Leo? Does anybody try to create any emulator of Iphone for WM?

No, not possible and no, nobody creates an emulator.
There are enough applications for WM available and also lots of games.
E.g. gameloft.com for games, handango.com for applications, but also lots of others.

correct but u hv to buy
but iphone app and games are free and cracked

1) Cracked software is ILLEGAL. Some people have put great efforts in developing it and they deserve to be paid.
2) You can find a cracked version of any WM program as well - it's even easier than for the iPhone.
3) There is lots of free software for WM as well (I mean freeware, not cracked software) - probably more than there is for the iPhone.

You buy a phone who cost 600 € and you want cracked game who cost 5 $, not logical

What is logical ?? After you had bought a phone for € 600, perhaps you don't have any money left to buy your apps... LOL

Support the developers without them we would not have all the applications we know and love and buy

id just like to say that it IS possible to run some iphone applications on wm devices, but you would need the time and knowledge to do so. if you google for 'amplitude windows mobile' you will get many results, the top results from MSDN - microsoft developer network, which documents how they ported amplitude onto windows mobile. so like i said, possible, but complex!

Palm emulation for WM6

I have looked on this and other sites and I cant find a palm emulator for WM6. I just want to run some of the games. Any help would be great.
There's one called StyleTap (not free):
http://www.styletap.com/
Even so the price of StyleTap is about 50$, it is worth the price
I still have a license from when I used some Palm Japanese learning programs on my PPC. Those have become so obsolete that I don't have any use for my license anymore... From the tests I've run I can say that if you have lots of old apps it definitely is worth it as compatibility should be close to 100% and the developer puts a lot of time and effort into improving the program and its functions. I will cut those 50 $ in half for you which should be more than fair and a good offer. Just PM me if you're interested.

from iphone to windows mobile (games)

hi all
i have a cuestion for you all cause i searched , but i didn´t find anything. Some time ago ,I red something in a forum that told me , the way to make a game for iphone working on Windows mobile ( i saw it in the official microsoft page) well i wanted to know if anyone has tried to do it?? because we all know that the iphone games are 10 000 000 better than the ones for windows mobile
thanks all see ya
come on guys , speak to me
the end user can't do that ms gave a guide how the developer who had
the sourcecode of his game could port it to wm
if you seriously want the games it's faster for you to get an iPod Touch, or of course the iPhone
i think that you dont understand me ... i dont want the iphone cause its one big **** , i want its games cause they are the best... rudegar thanks for the explication
therefore windows mobile must support multitouch first. now i don't see a comfortable way to control the game, unless it was a very simple game like teeter or patience etc.
well .. there are a lot of games available for wm like guitar hero , that need a multitouch display, too but you can play quite well without the multitouch screen , besides something is a lot better than nothing and the difference is that my diamond has a hardware keys that could sustitute the software keys on the display of the iphone therefor could be even better see ya

New to windows mobile Help please

I went from iphone to android to webos to comeback to android.
I use google voice. I use last.fm to scrobble. And pandora.
None of this are on windows mobile marketplace.
I just got the htc hd2 today while i love the hardware and everything. Comparing other mobile os's windows mobile sucks in terms of
app choices.
Can somebody please guide me in the right direction for replacements
or if the programs are available please tell me how to get them?
I also noticed my email inbox looks like it never left the 90's. Html emails are not being displayed and pictures are not loading automatically.
Trying to adapt need it for work so i must make the best out of it

Okay... look here for all the apps we use on our hd2
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=603880
On Windows Mobile.. you can look for apps outside of the "marketplace".. you download them as a .cab file (on pc or phone) and place them on the sd card if you want... which out the box is unique to windows mobile (doesn't eat up phone memory (but not that we lack it on the new hd2 lol))
Once the .cab file is on your phone/sd card... in the phone you go to file explorer (in the start menu)... click on it and navigate to where you placed the .cab file and run it. You can save the installation to the "device" because there is plenty of memory and tends to run better.
To awnser your questions;
[1] Google voice idk, but im sure google will have a wm app out soon (if not already, im not 'in' google voice so dunno)
[2] Last.fm Googling around a bit i see they (or someone) released a windows mobile app in 2008, but all links to it trow a 404, so check out their mobile forums, specifically this sticky
[3] Pandora, just read this; http://www.pandora.com/on-windowsmobile (Point your mobile phone's browser to www.pandora.com)
[4] Incomplete emails Thats just a setting since most people use gprs/hsdpa, im sure you can change it, either somewhere in the settings or trough a registry edit
Though i just have to say/write this, DONT GET ME WRONG but honestly, you shouldn't try to make this like your iPhone, although Microsoft/HTC are clearly trying to 'collect' some iPhone users, overall the HD2 isn't user friendly enough to be a iPhone (yes i sayd it) That doesn't mean you shouldn't stick with the HD2 though, just forget the iPhone
To put some strength behind my 'user friendly' statement, if your ROM is from before 1.66, the HD2 will have quite some silly bugs, like SMS messages that get stuck in the outbox but only (if your lucky) send 3 weeks later, problems with the camera, not beeing able to read/write large miniSD cards & more.
On the other hand, if your in any way IT related or just in general good with computers, this is currently the best phone on the market (counting HD2 and HD2b as one) it does the latest wireless connection methods, has build-in gps, compass and g-sensor, a 1ghz gpu, a 'gpu' (kinda) and more geeky features, and hey, it can emulate most psx games at full speed (www.fpsece.net)
I'd just strongly suggest you to get a new ROM from the HTC site, assuming you have a device with pre 1.66
I hope the above helped a bit, not trying to make windows mobile even more confusing for you, just trying to tell you that it cant really be compared to iPhone/Android, it can be compared to windows, there are actually millions of apps, nobody ever felt the need for a windows marketplace until iPhone got one and Microsoft had to compete, at which they currently fail hard i agree, the windows marketplace thing is a joke, just use google.

emulator

I really want some nice games, that are funny. sorry to say but the iphone has alot wich i like... everything else this phone rules!
and i know we have some nice ones like psx emulator and gamesofts game that are cool..
i saw iphone emulator for pc.. wouldnt it be possible to use that emulator to
play games on our hd2?
Nope, there is no iPhone OS emulator for Windows Mobile.
More and more successful games from this platform come to our platform, most recently, I saw a beta version of Doodle Jump...
Time will show how the creators of such brilliant entertainment software find their way to another platform. After all, if they think commercial, they will expand their business to Android (most likely) and maybe some to WinMo 6.x, too, but I expect more to come to the next generation of Windows Phone.

QIK-Livestream

Hello guys...i need your help...
I cant find the QIK program for livestream with HD2...
Do you have any ideas?
Hi, AFAIK Qik does not have a working client for the HD2. Ironic considering it's one of the most powerful smartphones. I think they've been pressed by the competition to not support the HD2 and threatened them that they will change their terms and conditions specifically to block their software from their marketplace ;-)
Guys dont be suprised. Windows Phone will be relased soon, so im SURE, that Microsoft pressing developers to not relase apps for WM 5 and 6.
Maybe you think im crazy, but Google some in Internet. Last news informing, that Microsoft employees got free Windows Phones from they bosses, but they must everyone must write apps for this platform. M$ "fat fishes" giving even all needed STK's and tools to start programing now.
Other news is that M$ will pay to external companies if they will rewrite iPhone apps to Windows Phone.
So only future which i see for HD2 is Android ROM's.
Just use Google and find that.
