[ICONS] Start Menu Folder Icons - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

Personally I thought the folder icons in LEO are ugly, and I remembered seeing a set of nice folder icons from Dutty's ROM, so I took that and further extend that to other folders such as messaging and internet.
I don't want to claim full credits (despite creating some of the icons myself) but because I do not know the full origin (I think it might be HTC TouchPro2 default icons but I am not sure), pardon me if I've taken your work w/o any reference.
Here's the screenshot, and the icons. You can use JWMD app or CSMI app to change the icons. I can forward you the theme file if you like, so that you don't need to set the icon manually yourself.

I'll truse it with that log "Change Start Menu Icons (CSMI) v1.3"
Thanks

how do you edit themes

what program do you use to edit/create themes for wm6?
A .tsk is just a special type of .cab. Any program that can pull apart and put together a cab can do this. Inside you have stwater.bmp and maybe tdywater.bmp graphic images (possibly multiple versions for different screen resolutions) and registry entries for font color and stuff.
Search here and on google for stwater tdywater and you'll find more info.
can you point me in the right direction to change the image of the unlock screen?

is there no way?
program called theme generator
http://www.freewareppc.com/misc/themegenerator.shtml
http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/extthemegen/?en
First link it to original by MS, second is add on by SPB
I believe that is the BatteryStatus screen lock. Try asking Ikarus over in the BS thread and he could tell you how to edit that screen.

How to change the "Quickinfo" Icon?

I managed to change all of my icons in the start menu but the only icon that couldn't be changed is "Quickinfo".
I tried CSMI and JWMD Icon Changer. I also deleted the cache in the Program Launcher.
Nothing helped.
I made a copy of the Quickinfo-Icon - this could be changed. But when i rename the new icon from "Copy of Quickinfo" to "Quickinfo" - the old icon still apears after softreset.
I also tried to delete the "Quickinfo" icon in Windows/Starmenu/Programs but after Softreset it is there again.
I tried to set the registry parameter Isshortcutenable to "0" but also this didn't work. After Softreset the icon is back again.
How did you manage to change this icon?
Now, just wanted to show you a screenshot, in order that you know, what icon i mean.
This icon wasn't installed by me, it seems to be in (german) ROM, do you also have this icon?

WM 6.5.x Start, close etc. icons customization

Hi,
It's pity, but I don't like the rounded start button, rounded close button, rounded back button... on the new WM 6.5.x ROMs.
For me the better looking is the buttons with corners
I like take it from this one
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
to this one
Any CAB, workaround...?
Please help me, it'll be fine that anyone could
Cheers
Either overwrite the default .png files in the Windows folder with your custom ones, or use Wince Cab Manager to create a cab to do it for you. Keep the custom .png file names and dimensions the same as the default ones.
That's it!
I'd rather look in Windows Development / Themes section, here you'll find themes that exactly look like that. Myself I use the amarullz blue/black theme.
Nice!!! I didn't think it is so that easy
I found theme what looks the way I want.
Thanks guys for your assistance and replies

[ICONS] New Icons by LAMessi10

Hallo,
I've made new icons with Photoshop and hope that you'll enjoy the icons! The easier way to install the icons is to use JWMD Icon Changer but you can also change every icon by self.
Some pictures:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
To install the icons, just put the extracted folder on your phone, start JWMD Icon Changer, go to Menu->Theme->Load Theme and search the folder and click on the last file. I couldn't "put" some icons in the theme, so you must install some icons by your self (like Skyfire or FpseCE).

Is posted in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=826898 but no information related to the weather...
Thanks!
I downloaded the weather widget from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=8319907&postcount=4 but the "standard" option has a black semi transparent background. How can I remove it? I know it has something to do with the lua scripts. But I've never touched one...
Cheers.

It's just a manila qtc file. Those are files with png images in them. You can use cfcgui to easily export/import pngs from/to the manila files. chainfire made it all very simple with his tool .
