Yes, I know about that but I thought was only for eugene373's rom.
All right then I''ll try it

Ok thanks, I'll give it a try tonight...

That is eugene's ROM.
I tried both, eugene's and kingsklick, and honestly i think kingsclick is more smooth.
But again, they are still in the beta state
I need a tester for a 32A patch on these ROM's, pm me and we will discuss it.

Is there a possibility that you gives your launcher that look :
I don't know if it's easy to do, just asking...

The patch created by ahmgsk works on both eugene and king hero 2.1 roms. I agree king's is more smooth but there is no wifi on both.

Are you using the 32A patch?
In that case, that is why Wifi ain't working on the ROM's.
I can confirm that Wifi is working on both without the patch.

I guess we will have to wait for that.
The ROM ttran released with that skin is about to work on these ROM's, but i will keep it in mind

Thanks for that. Don't hurry, all we need is a smooth and stable ROM, in first step.

Ok, just installed.
I had htc.gb FC when gmail tried first sync. Same with sync of Exchange.
I got sync problem with Agenda in Exchange. Should I desible Agenda's sync ? (and e-mail too ? if it's only for contacts...)
Edit : Market is weird. Some paid apps work, some doesn't appear in sarch results : I can't get Pure Calendar. Calendar HTC widget is not included, so I don't have any calendar widget on this rom ! Very bad point for me !
Edit 1 : com.htc.launcher.RosieUtility FC when trying to add HTC widget.
Edit 2 : No SD Card access, only debugging mode. Sorry, I'm done, back to ttran001's rom...

Do this ROM work with RA Dream v1.4.0 as recovery image?

it wont boot up. It goes to the HTC screen and gets stuck there. Like the light thats moving through the HTC text stops and it does nothing. I updated my radio and spl from the links do you think that messed it up? Cuz I have been flashing different roms for a while never had this issue before. and yes I did a wipe. I didnt format my sd card partitions but i am trying that right now so i will update my post

Havent tried the rom, gona wait for something a bit less beta before i try. But thanks webghost for getting this on the sapphire forum.
It seems all the interesting roms for 32b are on the dream dev forum, and unless you check there you would never know about it.

New version of ROM out, updated topic.

beats me, what's so special about it? it's just a claim that's it's the fastest, lol.
I don't get much credit for it, as I haven't made a lot of modification. Just a small libs merger and small changes here and there.
If someone's willing to try I suggest it
About speed, I mainly mean Rosie which is amazingly smooth.

Now includes standard Android contacts app as an option
Additional Trackball Wake option (now has a dedicated group in the kitchen)
Changes to Rosie to allow compatability with HTC provided widgets (hopefully)
You are an absolute hero! Tried a few of the previous builds, probably the most stable of any I've tried. Look forward to trying the new one

Nice. I'll have to update soon, think I'm still at r5.
While I generally prefer AOSP-ROMs, that'l have to wait until HTC gets out that bloody source so the AOSP ROMs can be a full worthy replacement. Lukilly I have your kitchen too keep my phone usabl and tweakable in the meantime.
is this still in beta or is it final but with patches here and there?
nexus one next?
thx for yo work
Yep! r8 will become N1 r24 when I drop the Nexus One compatability bits in.
P
Thanks paul! Can't wait to try it. I'm fed up with the bickering between od, defrost and kali. So this is a good moment to switch. Heard great stories!

Holy crap, the ROMs roll in like crazy the last few days.
Any infos on whats new in there compared to the recent DHD 2.16 and 2.25 leak ROMs?
nice work
The version is same as of 2.16 leak i.e. 2.3.2 but you will not have the drawbacks of the leaked 2.16.
In comparison to 2.25, it is not a hybrid so I think it will be a good addition in the DHD ROMs portfolio.
Btw sense version is 3.0 according to the documentation available on internet, but I didn't see any difference at all in comparison to 2.16/2.25.
i have not seen sense 3 anywhere

Good to know, keep it up man
Actually the Desire S will be released with Sense UI 2.1, not 3.0.
Sense 3.0 was announced with the Evo 3D. Sense UI 3 has a 3 dimensional Interface (Similar to SPB Shell) and new Widgets and Apps.
Let me guess, HTC didnt include the CRT Screen Off in the Desire S Release ROM, right?
LOL maybe we will get update for ours DHD with SENSE 3.0 like on EVO 3D ? Maybe Android 2.4 with mixed honecomb elements Would love to have that Lockscreen in my DHD

This is normal behavior.
As theintelligent said camera interface is not showing options but it's possible to take picture and video.
Can you actually setup the sync intervalls in accounts and sync settings menu?
That was an issue in the 2.16 leak.
EDIT: And about the Camera Settings: What happens if you take the camera app out of maybe leak 2.25 or 2.16?
