What essential downloads are there for the MDA Vario? (XDA)

I just got the MDA Vario (Also called XDA Mini S I believe) yesterday on T-Mobile. Is there any good games / applications to download?
With it being windows can it accept simple PC games? Im not sure how to install them or anything yet.

Cool, so anything that refers to itself as pocketpc should work?
How do I install, just connect through the USB and then run the file? Are they exe files or sis files? Or something like that...

[Q] Android apps without a Android Phone?

Hi,
I have Android 2.2 Froyo on my i900 Omnia! Now I would like to install apps from the market place, but the Internet does not work on the Omnia. Can I download the apps on the PC? And there are Android for WVGA, WQVGA, etc. different versions?
Please help!

You could download them to the PC, then transfer them to your device in USB storage mode.

But HOW can i download them?

You mean from the Market Place? I would suggest installing the Android Emulator on your PC then download an Android Virtual Machine that has the Android Market installed and voila!(start downloading). Then you can extract the APKs from your virtual machine.

is there any download manager available for smartphones. ive googled but all seem to be for pocket pc

i don't know for sure.... but some browser app has download manager in it such as UCweb..... sorry cannot help you any further......
