Hello everybody,
I have a trouble with my smartphone (Magician).
I can not exit the bootloader´s screen, nor hard reset nor soft reset.
The screen of bootloader mode hasn´t light, and I can´t connect with ActiveSync.
How can I make the screen light up?

Hi guys
I was upgrading to smart1_wm6 clear when I had a power failure with my pc. Now, my prophet (s200) is stuck on a white screen. I first have a startup screen telling me that my OS is now 10.1.0.011, then I got a white screen and a sound and that's it. What can I do? It seems that I can't connect with my pc any more too.
Help please!

Start your device in bootloader mode (hold the comm manager button for about 5 secs while pressing the reset) and then run the upgrade again.
While in bootloader the screen will show three colours. Once in bootloader the device will connect to the PC.
*eek* mp apologies, but personally i always do flashing on my laptop (its nice to have the battery there)
yep, you are right. Normally I do too, but I can't any more since I have upgraded my laptop to Vista. Now I am forced top use a pc, because upgrades don't work on vista.

Last night I've activated the password function to my mobile phone but the strange thing is i couldn't open my phone with the same password on Windows Mobile.
I thought that it could be fixed by re-installing the ROM but couldn't suceed because of ActiveSync connection.
Can anyone help me about this issue please? How could I deactivate the password?
P.S: I'm using WM6 on my Dopod 838
could you be a little more specific about the problem? you dont have to use activesync to upgrade your rom. just put your phone into bl mode and go from there. that WILL clear the password as long as your updating the ce rom. or just do a hard reset
would formatting the storage/chipondisk not clear any password setting on the device ?
I think i have a quite silly situation, this is the normal Windows CE Password which we use usually and activates itself when we turn on the phone or some minutes later after we didn't use it.
I thought the same but i need to open my phone with password for cleaning storage. Actually i don't know how to hard reset this phone, i only was using "Storage Clear" application for erasing whole thing.
For installing new rom, I need to make CID unlock and the phone does not run the application without having the ActiveSync connection (guest connection) with phone.
Hard reset: Hold both software "---" keys on the keyboard and reset with stylus. Then hit "0" key to hard reset or "X" key to cancel.
Bootloader mode: Hold light and power buttons together and reset with stylus. (The light button is on the front edge of the phone, near the volume slider). In bootloader mode please keep in mind that the backlight is turned off, therefore the screen is hard to read in poor light.
Hi guys, today my Treo doesn't like to start.
I've a WM5 spanish Treo and yesterday i made a hard reset and leave it only with Yahoo Go!.
Today:
- the screen was black all the time.
- after a soft reset the device hangs in "Palm" screen
- after a hard reset the same thing.
(I'm tried all without any miniSD inserted)
The last thing: when connected to charge (not USB, direct from power), no green light appear...
Any suggestion?

First, I updated my PPC ROM I got a problem with the start screen, it doesn't show "smart mobility" any more... but I got the white screen instead! what should I do.
Second. now my active sync doesn't work any more the USB line is fine the connection setting is setted to "USB"... And I still can use blue tooth to sync..
HOW DO I SOLVE THE PROBLEMS?

put it in bootloader mode and flash again:
To enter bootloader mode, press AND HOLD the camera button and then press AND RELEASE the soft reset with your stylus. When the screen is showing the 4 color bands, plug in the USB cable between your computer and phone and flash the ROM.
If you end up in the same place after re-flashing, then the image you are using is no good. Find another, re-enter bootloader mode and go from there.

Touch screen in my Eten M810 is broken. I have accidentally locked my device and I can't unlock it without touch screen. Is there a possibility to unlock it with some shortcut. If hard reset is the only solution can I omit calibrating of screen during installing system?
Shot in the dark here. You are referring to the winmo lock? But with my 6.1 device I can either touch screen or hold end call button for 2 seconds.
