Hava a Htc D2 with WM 6.1 and plan to upgrade to WM 6.5.
But not sure WM6.5 can work with XTNDConnect and Windows 7 or not?
Any guys tried?
I am using win 7 pro x64 WMDC 6.5.

The Windows 7 kernel is a little bit like Windows Vista's kernel, then I think it will work.
upgrade to Wm 6.5 and XTNDConnect is not working. I thinks it is becauce XTNDConnect 7.1 is not working with Wm6.5.
Any advise ?

No such thing - you would have to buy a phone (and it would not be a HTC Universal) with WM v6/6.1 installed already.

Most WM 6.1 Software will work correctly in WM 6.5 ... Everything in my PPC works like a charm
Hi, I was surprised today as I found this forum (never heard about WM6.5, especially for (old) HTC Wizard). I'm curious about how do you get WM6.5? I don't think M$ give WM6.5 ROM for free.
I think all WM6.5-Roms here are Beta-versions, right? If so... is there any restrictions? Or can I use WM6.5 on my device like if it's a "fullversion" (SMS, eMail, ActiveSync, Internet...)?
I don't want to start a debate about legal-rights, just as I said I'm curious about it.

Non of the wm 6.5 rom are official and there never will be an official. M$ official release of wm 6.5 will be in october. According to M$ the WM 6.5 is only a skin change of 6.1 and will be an lite version of windows mobile 7 for low end devices and WM 7 for high end. If you want WM 6.5 you can find one in the Windows 6 section under wizard but non official

They are quite nice, but it isn't Windows Mobile 6.5

The R1 is so slowly ,but it is mixed by wm6.1 & 6.5,if it is true 6.5 ,the speed .....? so,the 6.1 is so good.
