01. Install .NET 3.5 Compact Framework on the Main Storage
02. Install the Icon Changer to the SD Card
03. Unrar DINIK's HD2 Theme to \Storage Card\Program Files\Icon Changer\Themes\DINIKs_HD2_Theme_161209
04. (Only If your HD2 is not in ENG Language WWE ROM) Download your Coutry *.ictp File and overwrite the Original ENG *.ictp in \Storage Card\Program Files\Icon Changer\Themes\DINIKs_HD2_Theme_161209
05. Start WMD Icon Changer V1.9
06. Goto \Menu\Theme\Load (Optional: Before you load my theme...buck up your standard wm icons)
07. Load From \Storage Card\Program Files\Icon Changer\Themes\DINIKs_HD2_Theme_161209\DINIKs_HD2_Theme_161209.ictp
08. Push OK
09. Restart
10. If some Icons still the same after Restart. Prefer clearing HTC Sense's icon cache. Go to your Device's \Application Data\HTC\ProgLauncher Folder and delete all the *.bmg files inside. These are icon caches that will be recreated upon next boot.
And if that not helps you. Eraser85 found a solution for this! He found that if you try to use a custom icon which have the same filename of one of the images found in \Windows then Manila will always load that instead of your customized one! 90% of my Icons Have the Same Name. In order to easily fix the problem, just rename your icon. This bug affects ONLY manila, therefore in the start menu everything will look fine BUT in the Homescreen you will always have the original icon!
11. Restart
P.S.: There is only one thing that i dislike in WMD Icon Changer...by installing the Theme...it sorts the whole start menu alphabetically.

I have tested "CSMI" & "JWMD Icon Changer V1.9 beta for Windows Mobile 6.5"...and it seams "JWMD Icon Changer V1.9 beta" have much more options as "CSMI"...CSMI is ok...if you whant a simple utility to change 1 or 2 icons...but if you wanna more features and options...i would suggest to use "JWMD Icon Changer V1.9 beta for Windows Mobile 6.5". The best thing in this program is...you must not change every one icon...if you need to change all icons in your wm!!! You just download my theme and then simply load it...reset your phone...and thats it!

I tried changing the HTC Messages icon but for some reason it wouldn't changed. Often times some icons do this so I go to /Application Data/HTC and delete the respective BSM (or whatever its called) file and then reset and it works.
BUT, I can't find the respective file to delete to clear Messages icon cache get the icon to change. Can someone help me out please? Thanks!

Hey there, I hope someone can help me I have the hd2 on tmobile, and they changed the original internet globe icon from opera to an ugly "web´n´walk" icon.
Does someone have the original icon? I have an icon from midomi where there is the icon I´m looking for, but I want the icon to be like "only" the globe......without grey backround etc.

Can someone help me with this...
I tried changing the HTC Messages icon but for some reason it wouldn't changed. Often times some icons do this so I go to /Application Data/HTC and delete the respective BSM (or whatever its called) file and then reset and it works.
I can't find the respective file to delete to clear Messages icon cache get the icon to change. Can someone help me out please? Thanks!

Hi!
I've installed 6.5 custom room with Manila 2.1 (udk's R6). It works flawlessly except one thing: there is new feature in Manila 2.1 - highlighting and making hyperlinks on numbers, ursl etc etc. It is cool but has one problem: when we have black background then text in link is unreadable (becouse it's dark blue). I was looking everywhere for hack for this. I haven't found so I decided to do it by myself.
So my hack removes the links on messaging tab - the text is white again. This is not a big problem becouse when you tap message it opens a window with SMS/MMS content and links on white background which is perfectly readable.
Installation: just unpack the content of attachment to \Windows directory (replace existing file) and restart Manila.
I tested this on Manila 2.1.38672.1 (the one provided with udk's R6), don't know how it will act on other builds.

I collected a bunch of mods I use on my HD2, and put them in a cab for those who wants the "Touch-IT Black" look on their HD2 (Untested on other devices, but should work on any roms with sense2.5)

Have just some qestions: I use S2U2, is it a problem, this does not activate the original lockscreen back again? I have tweaked it away with BsB 1.6.
And if i have any problems and don't like it, is it uninstallable in remove programs?

Since many people are applying over 15 cabs for transparency effects alone, and often add 16/20 icon quicklinks, BG4all, and the same must-have tweaks and mods, I have undertaken to combine them all into one cab file. I couldn't bother having my program overview clogged with 20 cabs and reinstalling everything with every new ROM, so here is one cab to do all at once. You will only have to add your custom apps and you're done!
Before you install the cab, check the list of included components so you don't double-install. If any of the components are already installed on your device, uninstall them first. It is ok not to do so for transparency elements, but can cause issues in particular for:
- Clock
- 16/20 quicklinks

Instructions to remove an element you do not like:
You can usually delete the files corresponding to that element, unless that element also has some registry keys or shortcuts attached to them.
Here is the overall cab structure if you would like to manually remove one element in order to create you own customized version. In the same manner you can add any clock you like by replacing all clock-related files (deleting existing files and adding through cabinet -> add files):
Only the Wifi/Reset buttons install shortcuts
The following elements add registry keys:

Touch X send button in messaging (reg key only, no attached file!)

But those elements are usually must haves, so no real need to remove them.
Changing the clock to your favourite clock:
At the moment I have included 3 cab versions, one for each clock design (individual clock cabs attached). If you would like to change the clock to your favourite clock, just delete the clock related files as highlighted in the picture above, and add your own clock files (from Max TF3D pakage for example). Make sure you change the install directory to %Windows% for the files to become effective.

This is a very good idea. I've often found it a pain when you want to get a particular look and have to install 20 cabs, especially after flashing/hard reset. Nice one matey.
Personally, I won't use this though, because I don't go for the transparent look. I like the slider bar and the top and bottom bars, but I had to post and give the title of this thread a...

Yes you can. This items is actually language specific, so it may actually not operate if you don't have the English language.
If you do, just save a copy of the 2c89bd29_manila file from the Windows folder and copy it back to the Windows folder after installation. It is just one file that is responsible for this.
Or you can open my cab with WinCE Cab Manager and delete that file in my cab so it won't install. I should provide a note on this in my first posts.

Hehe, pretty much describes what it does
You can actually delete the elements that you don't use by using Win CE Cab manager (you can download their test version). I have now posted instructions on how to do this in the second post. This is very easy for the transparency elements as these add no shortcuts and no registry key, you only have to delete the relevant files in the cab (use cab structure overview in my post to determine which files you need to delete)

The quicklinks are transparent in all versions (quiklink transparency cab) so you can chose to have the first row blank for a cleaner home but the quicklinks are there and you can add applications. This is the normal behaviour (see screenshots).
In the 20 shortcut version, though, there is an issue, as the quicklinks will not update the icon until after a reset. I will look into this.

Where can I get a cab that gives me 20 quicklinks but without the BG4all? It makes the timing of the twitter/weather updates impossible to see on a lighter background.

I have looked at all the cabs that have to do with 20 quicklinks, and all have B4all included.
Can you direct me to which one that has only 20 quicklinks but NOT B4all? There are however cabs for B4all, but without the 16/20 quicklinks.
Thanks for the wallpaper thread, i am already using them, but I'm looking for an alternative....afterall having wallpaper on the home screen is enough for me.

yesterday evening i tried to instal HDwall (i like to change my bottom htc icons)
i download hd wall 2.8
in there was my pc program and hdwalls 0.24 for my pda
and i installed manilla mod patch 1.2 for manila 2.5.1920 (i have 2.5.19211619.0)
after this and a soft reset my hd2 was ****d up
it was SLOWWWWWWW
and al my icons with a tranparent background now had a white background
de installing did not help so it became a hard reset
questions
1 anybody had the same problems ???
2 is ther back up soft war that not only backs up your agenda and contact etc , but also yor software config ????
