hello,
i was looking at the features of opera mobile and it turns out that it supports both HTTP 1.1 and WAP 2.0
why support of both. the feature docu states legacy support.
Could the reason that to surf WAP pages, the mobile browser needs to connect using WAP and can not connect through HTTP?
so WML would be supported through WAP2.0
XHTML and HTML through HTTP?
u have a OPTION to surf wap site and http site?

Click to collapse
1. All decent mobile Web browsers support WAP - see my Web Browsing Bible
2. Of course XHTML and HTML is requested through HTTP, not WAP.
thanks for the reply,
so WML pages/resources are connected through WAP?
So reading that Adobe Flashlite is supposed to be a flash installer for windows mobile and what not. I just wanted to verify. If I install the Opera 9.5 beta do I just install Flashlite right after opera and it will automatically work with opera? I did not really notice any menus or programs to access to ensure it associates itself with opera.

There are browsers that also offer a text-only mode; for example, NetFront.
