Hi,
Found a Task Manager on the forum that you guys might wanna try out
As you all might know the HTC Task Manager slows the Leo down. So this one might be an option. Also, for all the chefs out there, this one seems to work fine with com 4-5 builds. I´m gonna try to cook this one in when HSPL is out for sure Most of the muis are already in the cab.
Thanks to twopumpchump and drkfng how made this. I did not make this cab!
Try it out and leave a comment if it is any good or it just sucks.. I get my Leo later today or tomorrow so i havent tried it yet. Any one good at grafics might wanna style it to a moore HTCish design?
love it as is, thx
Thanks !
Looks pretty good
I tried this last week and my battery went very quickly so would be good to know if you both have the same problems as me.
Thanx
Looks great, but it does not work properly on my HTC HD2. When i want to access it the bar with batt. an messages opens maybe one millisecond after every time.
There also is a glicth grafic wise, there is a white dot in opper right corner when it´s installed...

To fix that micth you need to go into HKLM\Services\NOTIFICATIONMANAGER\ and change the dll string to notificationmanager.dll.old
soft reset and then you'll be able to use the task manager but you'll loose things like the battery notifications etc.
hope this helps you out.

Mem usage: X2 Task Manager: 113kb
I couldt get mem usage on HTC Task Manager in advance task manager (dont know why), but i guess that the x2´s is lighter. And i think its better for 6.5.1/3 builds. If you like the HTC one, you dont need this one

Hey guys, im actually really stumped on this one.. i cant seem to find any Task manager that works on WM6.5 for my Atom Life. I used to use WKTASK and Quickmenu but now i wanna keep the honeycomb cause it runs really smooth on this new build and WKTASK screws up everything to be honest lol. I'm just wondering if you guys have any solutions?
PS: I'm trying out pBAR 1.4 and its not that great on wm6.5.. not very finger friendly.
Isn't there one in WinMo 6.5 already?
Maybe try the HTC one from the Diamond, there's a topic somewhere with all HTC application download links.

What problems are you having with WK Task and Quick menu ? I used both with Josh's Kaiser roms, and both worked well.
Well WKTASK just seems to kill my start menu after maybe 3 or so minutes.. So as long as WKTASK is running, my WM6.5 Honeycomb startmenu OR the Quickmenu startmenu will not open. its weird really.. and im using chrisch's atom life wm6.5 ROM 21202. Also the HTC manager doesnt seem to do anything on my device... nothing at all.. it installs.. i can access the settings but it doesnt show up on the OS itself. so its pretty much useless at this point (ive tried different versions).
yeah, I have the same issue as well...
For wm6.5 the best task manager for me is the HTC task mananger (at least for now). It integrates well to the new interface of wm6.5

Hello,
On the Touch Pro2 I have created some Neon Tabs for TF3D which seem to work on the TP2, Blackstone and the Diamond 2 (someone tested and let me know in the forum).
If anyone is interested, the thread is here...

There will be regular updates until this is perfected, but if you do download and use it, please post in the thread so I know its working fine.

My pleasure if you're after the coloured battery line indicator that is above the taskbar it's a freeware program called Batti. Which can be found here http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-batti-v2-1.html
Good luck in customizing your Diamond2

Just try it and see as cab can be uinstalled with no danger to your device. If you are installing a clock cab just uninstall to your original white clock before installing a new clock. Remember to back up all your data if you're not sure, a hard reset is the worse that can happen as it's all to your own risk.

Hi all,
after reading so many posts that i thought my head would explode I thought i would ask some advice
which is the screen rotation app of choice?
I have loaded and unloaded Gsens, Gyrator, change screen and I am now totally confused.
The simples one ( cant even remember which one) was so simple to use - open app insert stylus- done! but it didnt work on lots of progs for me.
what i rally want is a nice simple app that allows me to choose which progs ( mainly text and word etc) to have rotated.
sorry for being such a pain
the phone is totally original by the way
many thanks
This one is my favourite:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=487991
I've also tried them all, and this is the best one! Easy to configure. Lets me choose which apps to rotate. That's it!
Thanks for the reply.
after a cup of coffee I hard reset the phone and tried again:
tried g-config. Dead easy to use but i could not get it working on loads of programmes.
I then tried Gyrator which seems to work really well ( though i cant get it to work on any of the programmes that still keep START on the top of the screen - is that correct?)
maybe i will try G- config again
thanks very much and keep up the sterling work
and whats wrong with my TD2 Tools app? it does everything g-config does but has the benefit of backing up and restoring the white list!
not heard of your app sir
give me a link and i shall investigate
thanks

Cool!! But it doesn't work for a part.
My today screen won't rotate (menu and contact do but the rest don't rotate)
I use a stock 6.1 rom.
Can someone help
why is it, which ever app i try (currently on flip-IT) when i rotoate the device, it starts to rotate (i.e. the windows start icon moves) ,then there is a flicker and nothing?
confused & thanks
Gyrator 2 is not difficult to use, and works great!

well it may not have the same user interface as the others but flipit is in my opinion the fastest rotater there is out there.
Read the small guide and remember to delete the regs regarding the normal gsensor, and the you will see that flipit - as standard - will rotate everything, if the app/page supports it.
This is the one I use, very simple!

This is THE most stable rom that I've tried by now. Every single app works like a charm! 128dpi realvga - no errors; nuenobar - no unwanted blank irritating space under taskbar that dissapears when rotated, it just works as it should; SRS WOW 1.5.1 - no errors, just kicks ass; Call Of Duty - highest fps by now, almost no lag; very good battery life; I have bunch of active apps installed (quickmenu, wktask, batti, iconsoft phoneex, weather panel) and ton of games and other apps and it is still very very fast... I'm so impressed
Thank you!

I couldn't get Dutty's to work for me, so I can't comment on it. I did, however, get the TouchX Taskmanager working, and much prefer that as it's basically the task manager that I was used to from my Diamond & HD.

Xtask.. not the prettiest and maybe not the easiest to use at first but it works..
no install..
so you need to:
extract it, run the exes, press the two down arrows on the menu that pops up,
then choose "other" and "settings" and have a play (such as disable take over start menu)
similar style icons to wktask across the top, X button remapping in 6.5.x screen resizing in the same.
And almost as much power as fdc taskmanager.
It's great I love it
ideally set a shortcut to it in startmenu/programs, so you can set it to long press send button.
Another one
Personnaly, I use MobilityFlow Touch Commander (only the task manager) wich is really fingerfriendly.
Hope it helps.

- but without the percentage of used ram being shown as in HTC's

Exactly it is the X2 task manager and I think is Great, much better than the one from HTC. It shows: telephone memory (total in use, free), total memory (total in use, free), memory card (total in use, free), sim contacts (total in use, free), sms on sim.
Also shows every working application and you can terminate it
