I am done cooking roms for windows mobile, as I will be moving on to Windows Phone 7. I am sorry windows mobile users, but I believe windows mobile is a dead platform.
However, I will do a few more for those who PM me.
I will post ROMs if anyone is interested. I'll cook for any bootloader but right now I'm only cooking for Verizon & Sprint devices. I can cook packed or clean 21874 ROMs (including Manila 2D if anyone wants) and clean 28002 ROMs. (Packed 28002 ROMs had an issue with the SD card.) Please reply back to request a ROM.
ROM: 28004 Verizon Bootloader 1.04

Manila 2D you use what version?
TouchFLO 1.0 (Build 1818.3719)
Newer versions cannot be included in rom?
No. Apache has limited ROM space. The Manila build I have has a tweaked xml file that allows to work on Apache. Thanks to Maxx134.
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=37314
Too could not build in rom newer version. But from cab TouchFLO 2D v2.0 works on Apache.
Could you post a download link?
Look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=541750.
I tried the patched cab and the normal and neither work. They both just say Launching TouchFLO... and then "tap to launch TouchFLO".
Took not here, but for basis cab undertook from a that post. Exactly I do not remember whether put yet that (there a few cabs), but started in the total. True weather on main not updating.
sorry for my English
Why not use Manila 2D 2.5?
The apache does not have enough memory for it to run. Even the Manila I use normally wouldn't have worked. It was tweaked to run on apache.
AlbumSearcher cannot open.
Sorry about that. I uploaded a file (bottom of post), just download, unzip, and put in /windows/.
Why not do a 21885 rom?The 21xxx series seems better than 28XXX series
On mine, rom with Manila it is better to do on WM 6.1 21054
I thought there would be a greater demand for newer roms. If you want a rom, please choose a build below and a few apps and post back.
21054 21869 21874 21882 21884 23506 23511 28002 28004 28005 28009 28011 28014 28205
They all work decently, manila or not, except 28005 and 28009 have some issues with the sd card.
Choose pretty much any apps you want. Keep in mind I can also add the following:
*Manila 2D 1.0 or 2.0
*6.5.1 and 6.5.3 close button actually closes
Also tell me bootloader and carrier.

Sorrry, but I don't have 21885. 21884 will be used instead.
Please also reply back with your bootloader and carrier.
SDHC Support and Camera will also be added. Let me know if you want any other apps. I can put almost whatever you want in a rom.
Can I please get everyone's bootloader and carrier for future public roms?

I have an HTC branded unlocked Kaiser in the UK (Currently on T-Mobile)
It's still on it's original install, it's a bit clunky at the moment, but it was a bit slow on the screen updates to begin with.
At some point I will definately put a custom ROM on there - I don't want touchFLO or any fancy gimmicks, just my spb suite for the front end and multimedia stuff so I can play divx will do.
I just wondered how mature the ROM kitchen was for the Kaiser. Is it worth going for the rebuild yet? Would it become much more responsive or is that mainly down to the rubbish graphics drivers?
Oh, and also, once I have it all set up and extra stuff installed (eg TomTom activated), what recommendations do people have for backing it up to an SD card so that in the event of a wipe whilst away from home, I can have a reinstalled OS with TomTom already activated and installed?
I'd go for a Lite ROM either Alex's or Dutty's.
Alex_'s UltraClean ROM now with NetCF 3.5, SOD/XIP fix and SmartDialing
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=349354 and
Dutty's Hybrid NO.7 NU-Skool Lite Rom RTM.zip
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=351058
Make sure you have first installed HTC Kaiser Hard-SPL v1
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=53280&d=1191643466
Then install the duttythroy HTC_ConnectionSetup_1_0_31002_1.cab
this will detect your T-mobile connection and setup the correct phone settings..
These ROM's will make your Kaiser fly!!!!

Good job @bestever! This has been your first useful contribution to the forum. Keep up the good work!
thanks =D
about when will this come out for htc tornado
I wonder if Tornado would still be used as test device for new OS, the reason we have WM6 for our devices is because some internal WM6 tester for Tornado leaked the ROM for us, and Phil removed the ID, and others continued to improve it.
I wonder if WM6.1 is based on the same OS Kernel as WM6, then perhaps it's just the matter of porting certain files
I think WM6.1 is based on the same OS kernel as WM6.
CHOME will be standard, which is what the T-Mobile Shadow's Neo UI uses, and I think also what the cardwheel on Samsung SGH-i600 uses as well.
The CHOME stuff will take up a lot of storage so WM6.1 might fit in a Tornado, but just barely. I tried to port the Shadow ROM with CHOME completely intact, but ran out of space so I gave it up.
Does this Rom for PocketPC?
For cooking WM6.1 to Tornado we must have WM6.1 standart Rom.
looks amazing...
Finally a REAL update to the OS! instead of using loads of external apps!
It sounds like people are generally getting a pretty major performance increase from some of these cooked ROMs. Especially Dutty's WM 6.1. I think I'm about ready to give it a shot. I want to make sure I flash the right ROM though. So I have a few questions before I do this.
1) Im assuming most of my CAB files will work in WM 6.1; (Egress 3.4.0, Good FTP 1.0, Live Search 3.0, Opera 9.5 beta, Mortplayer 3.31, Resco Explorer 2008 beta, wmTorrent 2.1.6, IM+ v3.4.1, SPB Mobile Shell 2.0, Pocket Scrobbler 1.5, TCPMP 0.72RC1) Any known issues with any of these programs on Duttys WM 6.1?
2) I read somewhere on this forum that the "lite" version removes Duttys_AdobeFlashLite_3. Is this correct? I thought the newest version for WM was FlashLite 2.1. If version 3 is available, could someone post the CAB?
3) I'm unfamiliar with various Radios. If I run WM 6.1 on an ATT Tilt in the USA, what radios can I use?
4) Aside from Duttys WM 6.1, are there any other ROMs I should consider?
5) If things go wrong...can someone post the original ATT ROM?

What about FlashLite 3?
What about FlashLite 3? Does anyone have a CAB?
Based off WM6.1 Slim 3.1. Most of it has been cleaned up. All customizations are in OEM/Merlin's Customizations.
Release Notes:
Move Famewolf's Activesync fix to SYS and remove the "Bluetooth" folder in there.
Most of my apps included are in there. Post back to this thread with issues/fixes/anything of relevance to fellow cookers.
Please use the Hypercore kitchen, as it's the one I've used extensively.
Pagepool is set at 4 MiB.
Please post back to this thread with cooked ROMs and I'll put up links. As always, have fun cooking!

thanks for posting this. I am sure many people will use it.
.NetCF 2.0 in this kitchen, does it work?
I have been having an issue with .NetCF 2.0 not working in WM6.1 ROMs (or at least .NetCF 2.0 reliant apps not working). I currently have a re-cooked 5.2.19588 ROM which is almost perfect for what I want, however I cannot get .NetCF 2.0 working. I have tried cooking it with 3.5 removed and replaced by 2.0, tried cooking it with 3.5 and adding the 2.0 .CAB after, tried cooking it with neither and adding just the 2.0 .CAB after and also tried cooking with neither and adding both after. All of which have been unsucessful.
I have three .NetCF 2.0 apps in my ROM - Schaps VoIP configuration tool, the NoData GPRS tool and a Threaded SMS disable/enable tool, all fail to start and it is because .NetCF 2.0 isn't there or there is a problem with it.
MobileCalculator and LiveSearch work and these are .NetCF applications but I think they work with .NetCF 3.5 without any issues.
I noticed in this Kitchen .NetCF 2.0 is included, so does it work? Can anyone confirm this with the apps I listed? Plus if anyone knows why .NetCF 2.0 fails to work with WM6.1 ROMs and if there is any resolution for it?
Cheers
Andy

Net CF 2.0 does work
I recently Flashes this crappy Rom to my Wizard.
Ever since i've been Cooking for My Elf i never got around Doing some for my Wizard but after Windows Mobile 6.1 Diamond Edition rom i'm forced to to do two at the same time.
So íll be ginving your effort a whirl.
Got file corruption on two of the mirrors trying a third.
It's file in SYS \ Redist \ Netui.DLL
Update: Friggin Fistah Sucks.
Can't even play audio and download at the same time. Files are not corrupted.
How to install these all? i downloaded and... what to do?
Is a kitchen MEN!!!!
You may need to know how to cook MOM!!!
Read some thread that said made your ROM as you wish By faria it seems to be right here is oldie but you can learn alittle more before brick your phone... thats why i am not cook at all... and I am not a genius like chefs.
I'm new to this forum and to flashing the ROM on my Wizard. This is a fantastic forum with a wealth of contributions, though it is rather daunting for the newcomer.
I have experimented with a couple of WM6.5 builds (RC4 and newer Beta), a 6.1 build, and the original 5.0. I find WM6.5 to be rather unusable. WiFi doesn't work well, TouchNFlo is intermittent, and everything is dog slow. 6.1 seems a nice upgrade to 5.0.
Are others having a similar experience with 6.5? Is it too much for this 3 year old device? I'm not sure what the advantages are, other than personal taste for user interface.
Another question (and excuse me for perhaps not doing a better search)--if I find a build I like, but want more than the "clean" version, can I easily add the missing pieces, such as Manila 2D?
Thanks everyone!
Hi! Glad you joined! With regards to your question....WM6.5 officially released on October the 18th so until then all of the WM6.5 builds were based on betas and RCs which usually have bugs and what not which usually end up being slow anyways...there are several 6.5 builds based of of the final/ release version which run fairly quick . WM6.1 has been out for a while now and is the best go between for WM5 and 6.5 as of right now and its highly recommended by me! Im not telling you to (because you should research and pick one on your own!) but i used X2Hs NSN WM6.1 with Manila 2D and it was blazing fast so you should look into that!Cheers!
Maybe try to overclock your wizard? I got H3r's WM 6.5 rom on my wizard. Overclocked to 260 Mhz, about 29-30 MB of free ram after reboot. It works better than some 6.1 roms i tested.
I installed X2H's new "iphone killer" WinMo 6.5 ROM and its BLAZING FAST even without overclocking.... i highly suggest you look into that!!!!!

in fact there are some cabs to add m2d (4 ex) htc home, etx.
and yes im using the iphone killer (wm6.5 based) and is really fast, no need to overclock (i think is no worth to overclock since the wizard work flawless with iphone killer and some others i have tried be4)
but 6.5 have a flexible interface so you wont miss the m2d (i prefer the htc home) but 6.5 is very nice..... and of course if you go to spb shell page there you can download very nice demos and get the best.good looking-funcional interface.
good luck!
p.s. send pm if you want more tips
