ps: the difference between 2 ruus' versions, such as 707.5 and 728.4, does not mean that 728.4 is better than 707.5. 707, 728.. are regions code.
Let's hope that one with no perfect-spl will be released... Then the life gets easy again!

I recommand you don't
because the ruus are for Asia's magic, different carriers.
Seems HTC have slowed/stopped other region updates?

I bought a HTC Magic 32A from Thailand and forgot to back-up before installing custom ROM.
It came with:
SAPPHIRE PVT 32A ENG S-OFF H
HBOOT-1.33.2010 (SAPP10000)
CPLD-12
RADIO-3.22.20.17
So I don't even think it was original, but had Thai keyboard etc. Also I see in the shops now Magic with android 1.5 base 3.03.xx. I will have another look and write down the base number...
Anyone know which if any of the above ROM's I should use in Thailand?

ok.I own a "unbranded" htc g2 and I want to flash a hero rom in it.
But Every hero rom I find in this great forum can't work:it can can go
into fastboot mode I can flash rom but when reboot i,it just stay
at the "htc magic" local screen.It really tricky for me(maybe).
For now I am using the"daldroid-htcmagic1-signed rom" find from this
forum.

This Update makes the phone useless to custom roms and everything good about the phone.
Info from my Fastboot:

It's not newer... Thats the SPL that came in the HTC Magics of my country (Chile in South America)...
It can be rooted using the goldcard method, but at least here in Chile, after you use the goldcard the magic looses the 3g, Edge, and any kind of mobile internet connectivity...You can still use wifi)...

I have a Magic from TIM Brasil and I don't know why Entel is listed on the HTC brazilian page. It is a cel company from Chile, not Brazil.
When trying to downaload the update it says the update in not aplicable.
Anyway the ROM version seems to be older than the one that came with my Magic (mine is 3.03.527.3 and the update is 2.20.515.5)

Yeah, 3.03 seems to be the only version available for the Magics that received the SenseUI update. I guess the brazilian version doesn't have anything new in that regard

I think the Magic with Radio-6.35.08.29 is only sold by carrier Claro.
You can find the 6.35.08.29 radio here. It comes from a 32A HTC Magic RUU (RUU_Sapphire_HTC_Europe_3.05.401.3_release_signed_NoDriver.exe) for Greece.

You can just upgrade the radio without loosing anything and it works just fine.

cmon guys, just read what he wrote.
Today there was an update release for HTC Magic in Greece with Sense UI and this radio.
I personally just flashed the radio and it is working great with cursordroids' ROM.

The reason I'm asking is because I can't find any official downloads. There's nothing in this thread about HTC releasing Sense in Greek..

This update seem to be for "Sapphire" aka HTC Magic, not Hero.
You could try running this RUU but I guess it won't work without a goldcard in your phone.
Anyways, if the official Sense update is just around the corner I rather wait until it reaches my country.

It might be a new spl
But it not an engineering bootloader so alle security will be on, it might be better to wait to see if 1.76.0009 shows up in a engineering version.

I'm pretty sure it's 32B only anyway (although it's the official German release and the only Magic you can get here is 32B)

The Sense update is only for 32A. However it would probably installa a perfect SPL, so I suggest you not to install it.
Guys, any help from your side to download?

didnt work for my MyTouch 3G
This ROM should problably be for the Sapphire- without google.
The German Magic are VF Poineer (with google or GEP)- so this SN doesn`t work and also probably the update itself.
In Switzerland and Austria you can get the "without google". these one are the korrekt ones for the download.

1.76.0009 is perfected, you can not downgrade to an older ROM. If you did a search through the forums, you would know this.

There is a rooted 3.05.401.3 ROM but you need root access on your phone to update to that ROM.
The gallery seems to be fine on my phone, gallery is loading all the photos in the background and it may make the gallery a bit choppy. Let them all load and see if it's smoother.
