Just wondering what ROMS people have on their Wings & Heralds. .
What they have modded in their Wings and Heralds.
What programs you have installed on your phone.
Where they found their ROMS.
What they plan on flashing next.
And maybe a screenshot of the ROM they are using.
For me I chose Ace's Glass V. 10 ROM.

http://thewingster.com/choic3s_1.aspx
I installed the one without any extras.
i then installed:
Pocketscreen
Bluetoggler

Set Volume
task manager 2
Still need to install Pandora, YouTube, Adobe Reader, BT Audio Tools, and Guitar Hero...
I wanna check out Flash Player 7 and CORE Player...
Personally I still use the Shav3d one from forever and a day ago...I have yet to find a 6.5 ROM that is as fast or bare bones out of the box.
I always install:
Marketplace
Office Mobile
Esmertec Java
Skype
Weather Watcher
Twobile
Pocketwit
Youtube
Clean RAM
Bing
Facebook
MySpace
Uno
Palringo
Midomi
ShortCAD
as well as some UI tweaks and such, like the honeycomb launcher.

Im useing my own ROM running wm 6.5.1 23047 THANKS TO IVANMMJ Superjustkitchen! striped to my needs with spb mobile shell 3.5
Would you be willing to share your rom with XDA? Idk.. I use Megaupload to upload files.
Well, you can get Google Maps from google...just download it from them directly....and Twobile is just a twitter client, but it allows you delete your own tweets and search for users and stuff, but it looks terrible so for most twitter stuff I use pocketwit.

Honestly, I don't use many programs. I'm always flashing stuff too often to settle down with some apps!
But Opera Mini 5 is always a must for my Wing, and SkyFire is always good. Umm, PHM Registry Editor for editing the registry (duh, heh), and then yea, that's about it.
And some of my favorite games for the Wing are in the Games Section. I don't do too much gaming though.
Ah. Makes sense really.
I never thought about it like that. Not being able to settle down with any programs.
I'd like to know what programs and ROM Ivan is using right now too.

Hah I think Ivan uses his own ROM And Ivan owns a Android phone, so that's his primary phone...I bet he could tell you some great Andriod apps!
Oh and Pandora is of course awesome for the Wing, forgot that.
I love Pandora too though, I would also like to really see more mmorpgs, rpgs and more adventure games for the windows mobile like they did when WM was named pocket pc.
What games have you guys also played on your devices?
I had Syberia 1 & 2, Fade and Warspear. I think I may download and share em.

Although technically not a development thread, I'll allow this thread to stay here for now.
As far as what ROM I use, I have a G1 running a slightly modified version of Cyanogemod 4.2.5.
My Wing just gets flashed with whatever build I'm testing at the moment. (For example, right now it has 28002 WM6.5.3) (Yes, the numbers are right. )

Thanks for keeping this thread open. You see I think that for most people that come here they'll need to see what people have flashed with. Also, you and Ace and other cooks can see what ROMs are popular.
I will also help moderate this thread and keep it on track.
OOOOHHHH Ivan that sounds awesome! I can't wait for a release of that!
My Wing
I am currently running Apreichner's FingerMe 0.2 WM 6.5 with the following added to the ROM after install:
Hero Clock
Office Mobile
Facebook
A few games for my daughter
LinkMgr
Microsoft My phone
MyCalculator
MyMobiler
Pandora
Skyfire
Wing Linux
With all programs loaded I am still at a healthy 17.92 MB free in storage and 13.05 MB free in Program memory. Working great. Only Skyfire has given me any sort of trouble so far. Love this ROM.
I have a few screen shots of the WM side of things but didn't realize that MyMobiler needed an active sync connection so I have no screen shots of the Android side of my phone. The Wing Linux version I am using is 0.4.1 I believe. Haven't downloaded the latest cab they just released days ago.
Thanks again to Apreichner for the slick ROM and to Darkstar for the hard work porting Android over to our Wing's. Love this site, been a watcher until now. Will always watch as long as I have my Wing.

Windows Mobile 6
Titanium Edition v2.0 (WM6Ti)
Base ROM Information
The base rom was a "dogfood" Wizard WM6 ROM that was part of testing of WM6 inside of Microsoft.
This is an actual Wizard WM6 ROM, not stripped from another device and reworked until it runs on the Wizard.
Windows Mobile 6, OS 5.2.318 Build 15342.4.0.01
ROM Version: 10.1.0.811 WWE
ROM Date: 08/11/06
Protocol: 4.1.13.09
ExtROM version: Faria V5.0
There is no Radio, IPL, SPL or Extended ROM.
What additives in this dogfood, you ask?
Office 2007
VoiceCommand
HTC Audio Manager (Newer Version from HTC Touch)
HTC Home Plug-In (from HTC Touch)
HTC Music Plug-In (for HTC Audio Manager)
HTC 8-Button CommManager (from HTC Trinity)
HTC X-Button v1.0
Faria's Camera/Video Streamer
"Black Dymond" Keyboard
SQLCeMobile
BatteryStatus (Ti Theme & Custom Tray Icons)
TodayAgenda
Pocket RAR
Total Commander
Adobe Reader LE
PHM Registry Editor
Custom Splash and HTCTi Theme
Requirements
You MUST have an IPL and SPL at 2.xx or higher (BOTH not just one or the other).
You MUST be running ActiveSync 4.5 on Windows XP (Vista comes with the correct sync utility, although there have been issues reported about Vista and sync'ing with PPC's so be aware of that).
Before you attempt to upgrade to this ROM, Please follow this thread to learn how to flash roms and CID unlock, and how to fix issues you may run into! It is also recommended that you flash your phone with a Windows XP computer and not Vista. It will work with Vista, but if you run into problems Vista can't talk to a phone in Bootloader mode!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=298613
Recomendations:
It is HIGHLY Recommended that you flash back to an official rom before upgrading to this (or any) custom rom so you have a clean base (and correct any Extended ROM corruption you might have). G4 users would flash back to their provider's latest official release. G3 users can use T-Mobile 2.26 for a good base.
It is STRONGLY recommended that you use the T-Mobile 2.19 UK Radio (this is a must for Cingular/AT&T customers). Newer Radio versions tend to have missed calls and SMS messages (just like with all other WM6 ROMs). G4 users need to do their research for flashing splash screens, radio's etc.

I've been using it ever since it was released to the Sbsh forum members. We always get to try out new "releases" to report bugs before they're offered to the general public. I've been using it instead of phone alarm . . . much easier on the memory resources and doesn't take up much real estate on the screen.
BTW -- I'd LOVE to BETA test the Titanium ROM. . . looks like it's right up my alley
Good to know that there is some interest, but I'm still working on a couple of things before I release this to the public.
How's this rom with missed calls. I had to ditch every wm6 version I've tried because they missed to many.

How do I know if I have missed calls........?
What radio versions are you using? IT's been found the only reliable radio version with these wm6's is 2.19.11 Tmobile UK

When I had missed calls the phone had stopped working and I didn't know it until I tried to make a call. once I rebooted I had messages (voice mail) but if they didn't leave a message there was no indication. Same as if the phone had been turned off.

Hmmm. This looks like it has potential. One thing as much as I like PhoneWeaver I don't think you should include it built into the ROM. If the user doesn't want it they have no way to delete it. Plus I'm not sure how Amit @ SBSH looks on it being included in a custom build that is being distributed. Just my 2 cents.

I'd just call my voicemail and check messages. Never got any notifications of these phantom missed calls or voicemails. I think I was using a 2.25 radio though. 2.19 doesn't miss them? Thats weird how an older version works better with a newer os. since this one is an official wizard wm6, i was wondering if it had an official wm6 radio, but giving the pictures a closer look i see the 2.19 there.

Update: I have attached the theme and image files used in this theme.
Notes:
First of all, THIS IS A THEME FOR WAD (Wisbar Advance Desktop). If you don't know how to use WAD. Please, don't bother using this. Everything will just become much more difficult for you. WAD complicates things if you don't know what you're doing. But if you're really interested, play around with it, I'm sure you're gonna love it and realize that it actually makes things easier and more beautiful. If you really can't figure it out, then WAD is simply not for you.
And as I mentioned, it's still under construction and incomplete.
I made this for people who prefers to use WM5 for its stability but is forced to use WM6 because they hate the way WM5 looks. But you can also use this theme on WM6 devices that uses WAD.
These theme is designed for VGA devices, particularly the Universal (Everything will be bigger and misaligned with QVGA devices)
I've also included icons/images that are not being used by the theme that you may be interested to use in your own customization. All images are on the \Common Images folder.
Images that I used on this theme are not all mine. Most them are found courtesy of Google Images, some of them found on other forums. I just modified them to become 32bit tga files compatible with WAD's support for transparencies. If you found images that I shouldn't be using, just tell me and will remove it.
Feel free to tell me what's good and what sucks. I don't care how you say it, I'm used to criticisms. :þ
Installation Instructions:
Remove all your today plugins on the today screen. Just add them later on on the WAD screen.
Install WAD* on your device memory (not Storage/Storage Card). Everything will run a lot smoother and problem free this way.
*(not included in this package, it's not a free app. get in on the Lakeridge website)
The zip file contains 2 folders, Extract them on your Universal's \Themes\Desktop directory. (Yes, overwrite the Common Images folder, this one has everything that that folder has)
Go to the Theme Manager. Make sure you select Vista on both Landscape and Portrait modes.
Enjoy. :þ And be amazed how smooth it works. And see that it actually only uses around 1Mb of RAM. :þ
Important:
Most icons point to apps that I use, that you possibly don't have. You have to change some icons to point to something else.
eg.
Media Player opens up CorePlayer
Internet Explorer opens up Opera Browser
Dictionary opens up Lexisgoo... etc.
-- 04 July 2007 ---
So everybody's crazy over WM6 eh? So what's with WM6 that we don't have on WM5?
Html formatting on Outlook Mobile (we could get several other messaging apps that can do that right?)
Smart search on contacts and Outlook Mobile.. yeah this is awesome..
docx and xlsx file support.. I don't use Office 2007 yet anyways
High Res on PIE? Well.. Opera does it far better! or you can use PIE Plus. (Helmi's WM5 AKU3.5 1.3.1 has PIE High Res support)
And finally.. better looking taskbar and icons! Now this, I may be able to offer a possible solution. ;þ
I was so addicted over WM6 lately until I recently discovered this app called WAD (Wisbar Advance Desktop). It is one of the most fully customizable skinning apps for the PPC around. It has the full capability of replacing your today screen (It's possible to have multiple virtual pages). And even hide the taskbar and sofkeys. Giving you a full screen of beauty. And guess what, unlike it's sibling WA (Wisbar Advance). It does not eat too much RAM nor slow the PPC down.
Since I use WM5, I realized I don't need to worry about video call or any bugs.. Suddenly.. I don't like WM6 anymore. ;þ
I personally does not use WA, it really really slows everything down esp. on our devices since we have VGA. VGA = bigger images.. and if the skinner did not compress the image files to it's maximum, it will really eat up ur RAM. But WAD is a different story.. you gotta try it too see for yourself.
Here are samples screenies:
OLD IMAGES REMOVED
Note: The available program memory on the lower right is real. Although the only currently open app that time was the Screen capture utility and Outlook Mobile.
I'm using Jwright's 1.90.96 WM5 AKU3.2 ROM.
The theme is still under construction. My goal is to put everything I need on this screen so I would no longer need to use the "real" Start Menu.
Every icon/button reacts to screen taps. Docks are all trasluscent the way they should be. I'm also doing my best to make sure the images are the smallest size as possible (using 32bit/24bit TGA format compressed RLE) for it not to consume too much RAM.
If demands are high, I'll give you guys a copy when it's completely done.
P.S.
WAD is not a free software. If you can get it free, then that's no longer my concern. All I will provide is the theme.
WAD is not for everybody. It's only for people who wants to get full visual tweaking for their PPC's. If you're satisfied with the built-in today screen, then WAD is pointless for you.
But here's a tip, WAD consumes less RAM and processing time than most Today plug-ins.
That looks fantastic, nice work!
Just a question - what would happen if you tried using True VGA mode with that skin, say, using oZVGA or something like that?
Awesome!
What is the difference between WA and WAD? How much Memory does it need to run it?
Looks nice by the way. I myself use Helmi's 3.5 v1.3.1
You can go here to see the difference between WA and WAD : http://www.lakeridgesoftware.com/index.php
Beautifull skin DaVince ... Could you upload it when you'll finish it ? Thx !!
Can you provide us step by step instruction...
wow, awesome job mate!
Well that sure looks sweet..
but a few things i've always hated with WM5:
-it's impossible to simply add a new number to a contact from the call list.. you could only save it as a new contact alltogether.
-send/receive business cards always worked funny.
-Contacts seemed isolated from Call history.. while with WM6, you can see the last call from a contact, group the calls from the contact, etc.. all with a click.
there's no denying that WM6 at the current form needs a lot of work to clean up, and i'm personally getting frustrated seeing 4-5 different ROMs up as stickies, and 20 other options below.. and each one has its own problem

I hate all decorations. and other husks. I felt that the beauty of the operating system is not important ... important that os is worked ... and worked steadily. everything else does not matter. the reason for my move to WM6 was no rush for decorations and the beauty of a humdrum desire to be in front of the whole world // сиречь просто хотел померяцца письками с другими кпкодами .. до сих пор сидящими на вм3 и вм5

Hi there aniel. I still thank you for being the one responsible of giving me a copy of Jwright's WM5 ROM. WM5 isn't really better than WM6, but it's a lot more stable and bug free. Not to mention every feature works like they should be (eg. Video Call, Wifi). That's the reason I'm sticking to WM5.

Oh yes kitchens! I like 'em too. A great way to save Storage memory by adding them via OEM on the ROM itself. Wish we had that on WM5... btw, WA uses too much memory.. around 3Mb on VGA skins.. totally unacceptable.

WA skins the taskbar, uses around 3Mb of RAM on VGA skins. WAD skins the today screen, uses around 1Mb (or more, if you add more objects esp if the images are not well compressed).
ok you convinced me: only thing is that I can't tolerate having a today screen without spb pocket plus since I have many many progs and need to have easy, rapid and accessible shortcuts..but this will surely give my uni a boost of life, looking like a vista based umpc..so guess I'll try it soon..as soon as it's completed!

can you make a cdma one?
Please kindly add the fix registry cabs for Treo Pro, and the Net CF 3.5; then it would be a perfect stripped ROM. I found that I could not install Net CF 3.5 on your ROM. Don't know why, the remain things seem fine until now (3 hours after installation). Thanks.

hey morning/evening berdinkerdickle,
I am very glad to see your stripped GSM TreoPro 6.1 ROM comes out, in fact, I am dealing with the same thing on a Chinese forum, and after low-memory-costing ROM published, I moved to OEM package design.
It could be much more logical for us to publish OEM packages instead of custom roms, one reason is ROM core never change, still 'build 19216', another is people want their own localized & personalized ROM anyway.
I list down the latest OEM packages which including in my kitchen, and I hope we can share the OEM packages from now on if you agree with me.
NetCF3.5 [NET 3.5]
HK_Battery_Replace_Volume [give that ugly battery indication back due to volume icon already put into ROM by default]
HK_Manila Square320_128DPI [Manila2D 1.0.1818 which works under 128DPI]
HK_Personalize [splash 1,2&3 screen]
HK_PlumSIP6_PalmTreoPro [Chinese input method]
HK_TaskManager_Show [task manager icon might be disappear after installing manila, this OEM can make task manager shown on your HP again]
HK_WM6.5_BatteryIndicator [WM6.5 battery indicator]
PS: my custom ROM works under 128DPI resolution, I found yours is 96DPI
PS+:you can refer following links for those OEM package which mentioned above

oh, sorry for that,
1 please kindly follow that link, and click 'English' on the top right of your page
2 and now your web page should display with English letters, then select 'ToDownloadPage' & waiting for another page to pop up
3 click 'Raysource' button in that newly opened page to start downloading.
4 oh, before i forgot, the most important thing is you need to install 'Raysource' application first, which you can get from http://static.rayfile.com/en/client/
Plus: make sure dis-select OEM package['Ziti_YaHei' & 'Ziti_ClearType'] in the kitchen once your downloading finish, because those two OEM packages are Chinese language support & customize tool.
The path of those two packages is [dump\SYS\19216\SHARED\COMMON]
Thanks for your fast response!
For other non-Chinese people you can change the RaySource program into English as well:
- Open the program Raysource
- Click on the icon in your traybar
- Click on the item which has an arrow next to it and choose the second option.
Download is slow but the program has a resume option.

hi! Do you tend to touch the screen on the phone? I keep on touching the screen when I borrow other phones. Hehe.
2 of my siblings use the E71. very nice hardware but s60 is not for me. My treo pro is pretty beat up already but I still haven't found a replacement yet.
Farewell!
Hey Mccune..
It brings great sadness to hear you're moving on to Nokia.. I was looking forward to hearing from you regarding Realvga etc.. but I guess you gotta do whatcha gotta do.. Have fun with Symbian.. Au revoir!

For a while I've had the E71 before. Together with the Treo Pro it was hard to decide what to keep. Both have their pro's and cons. Since I've got the Touch Pro 2 the TP became more obsolete and served as a backup device.

I was kind of struggeling if I would continue this RealVGA project before "abandoning" the TP. But since it's actually pretty easy to install RealVGA I thoughy it would not be such a big deal. If you want me to I could post my way of installing RealVGA on the Treo Pro including my RealVGA fixes that I've already posted here on XDA. Just let me know!

Don't worry about it.. I got it installed and running pretty smooth thanks to your fixes. Looks like it'll have to stop there. Thanks again Mccune..
I'm coming from cooking for the Unlocked GSM TP2 to CDMA since I made the switch to Verizon. It took me a while to get a handle on kitchen issues I was having. I want to give a special thanks to SS3 for releasing a Kitchen I was able to build off of. The idea for my ROMs for CDMA are remove all the glossy unnecessary graphics for users that like to customize themselves and also provide a ROM with some subtle graphics for users who just want to flash and go.
All my ROMs are unlocked any everyone is free to decompress and make your own ROMs.
Future Plans:
Create a WM6.1 ROM
Create a HTC Sense 2.5 ROM
As always stay up to date with WM builds

You got another follower here, I have a Verizon phone (well, getting it fixed at any rate now) - so CDMA ROMs are important, and so are regular releases. The majority of support here seems to be for the GSM variant, but I like to stick to one forum to keep things simple (the other one, I would be using, if these CDMA threads were absolutely dead).
I'll install it when I get my phone back (counting something is released then, or if you need testers I'd be willing to give it a shot).
Curious question: Why is Windows Update disabled/uninstalled? I haven't heard of cooks doing that (aside from that, wouldn't you want it to keep your device up-to-date ... even if Microsoft is slow with releases...?).

Most cooks actually remove windows update cause windows and all cellular providers don't provide OVA updates. So its pretty much useless.

The CDMA section has always been a bit less "lively" than the GSM. That said, keep up the great work and you can help bring life into the area.

PPCG really has more of the CDMA following and ROM releases. If you look at the GSM TP2 forum over there, there's nothing to speak of. XDA has always been the best source for all things GSM. I know I don't contribute as much over here as I would like because there are some GSM fanboys who always have smart-ass things to say. Either way, both sites are an invaluable resource...maybe you should post it on both.
I know I've see some of the CDMA rom releases on both sites.
Thanks,
Nate
BTW: I'm downloading now..
It's been so long since I've posted here, greetings to everyone and Trib.
I've cooked upa rom about a year ago that has been stable ever since. (WM 6.5.3 50.4 Storage, 20.00-22.00 Program Memory.)
But I've found it to be redundantly complicated.
Therefore, I wish to downgrade it to 6.1. Well, not downgrade it but upgrade in sense of simplicity.
I've downloaded the kitchen from SuperJustKitchen,( justkitchen(.)info/main/rokdownloads/ft2(.)php )which was the only I could find. And I'm going to build a 6.1 ROM, hoping I haven't forgotten how to do it
Since I i'll be constantly improving for the next 1-2 days, I would like opinions and ideas. =D
Edit: Thge SJK wasn't the same Kitchen that I used to work with =S, didn't even get it to build.
Go to my guide on cooking for qvga and there you'll fine my kitchen.
Download that and import a WM6.1 build.
Here is a list of WMBuilds
Hey, Trib still being a rockstar on these forums eh! =D
Um quick question, How will I know if the build is 6.1? Which is latest/Best build for 6.1??
I'm not really sure at this point, but anything before March 11, 2009 should be WM 6.1.
EDIT: I just looked at the list and there isn't a build on there from before the afore mentioned date.
I'll try to find you something to work with..
Ok, so I saw that 21xxx are the 6.1, i got those files, but I don't know how to make the kitchen from your guide, recognize it. The kitchen you have only has 21056, and 21054.
I got the 21057 (Latest one from the 21xxx). I'm not sure if I did it right. =/
Edit: Ok, I cooked a few ROMS but all were un-bootable. I used 21056 because 21057 wasn't being Nice =X
Maybe i build wrongly...
Do you have any 6.1 builds that i could learn from and see what I'm missing out.
(Goal of this: Stable, eXtremely light and fast with Manila 2D.)
I'm backing up my phone now and then i'll cook some 6.1 ROMs up and see what I come up with.
Whatever works, I will share..
Hey, I just cooked a decent ROM that seems to be fruitful. I'm currently testing it out, the only ting i worry is the Eye-candy. It's not as I expected. Umm, is there a way to make it look any better? If not then I'll use PointUI or Throttle Launcher. =D
I am glad that it is working for you now. I actually have never tried using a 6.1 Build and mixed it with 'eye-candy.'
You've given me food for thought, so thank you
Really?? I feel honored to helped the one who helped me in everything related to ROM development.
Hmm, I wonder if my ROM has a visual bug.. My OK and X button on the top right corner is oversized. It's showing like if a 3 year old kid painted it there...

LOL, +1 for making me laugh hard.
I'm not sure why it's like that.
Honestly, I never liked cooking with WM 6.1, I kinda just skipped over it from 6.0 to 6.5.1.
Really?? I feel honored to make laugh the one... Eh, nahh xD
Yeah, I agree with you, same here. First time on 6.1, and quite frankly, I miss my old ROM, I would go back to 6.5.3 but the program memory 'is to da*n low' =/
I flashed one of you saved presets and i loved it but the only thing was that it was 6.5.3 and had manila 2D with a 3D theme, sadly, the program memory was 3mb IDLE! And a lot of functions didn't work. For example: Google Maps, Settings tab, YouTube tab, Wallpaper and comm manger. ( but i think the everything in Settings tab didn't work )
So I'll probably try cooking a 6.5 and cook inside a Manilla 3D into it. And see what comes up.
Let me know if you got anything...
Although I will missed 27mb of program memory from the 6.1. .. AND 7mb pagepool ='(

I am not sure why the ROM wouldn't work for you. Those saved .erv files you should be able to load and recreate the ROMs I have on the fora..
EDIT: I cooked with build 21057 for the fun of it and I saw exactly what you meant, lmao. That is the worse UI I've ever seen M$ use, lol.
But what was cool was I was able to get 33MB of Program memory when I made an SD version and 62MB of Storage. And if I would have not cooked in .NetCF and a keyboard skin I would have gotten 70MB of Storage. I would like to use this but the looks of the ROM are amazingly horrible, so I don't think I can release it, lol.
Yeah =(
Just cooked a WM 6.5 and Manilla into it too, got it manilla to work great, only bug is that I cant change wallpaper T_T
Anyways, i got 4MB of program memory, and i stripped almost everything I could...
Mind giving me a list of ESSENTIAL files so I can make it even more slimer?

If you're making it using my kitchen then i'll upload an ervious save file. But if you're using another kitchen i'll be able to do it in a few hours.
Here ya go.
Awesome thanks, i'll check it out, I also made a extremely light one. 52MB Storage and 20+ Program.
But sadly i couldn't get M2D to be nice. I'm checking out SPB Mobile Shell =D
I'll see if I can make it lighter with from studying your ervs and put in manilla.
Thanks again, you're awesome.
Ah, thank you.
I've decided to upload my complete kitchen for you.
The kitchen you have has about 90% of what I use in mine. Maybe that will help you out. The .erv file you downloaded from 2 posts above, just insert them into:
Working_Folder\TOOLS\RomSaved inside your kitchen's folder in the kitchen you download from me.
My kitchen is huge, so it will take some time to archive and upload.
EDIT: Here is my complete kitchen.
Could you be more awesome?? No, really.. Could you?
Dude, thanks soo much =D
I can make a perfect ROM for me now!! =D
Thanks ^>^
Now, basically, just change up these things (and it will be your custom ROM) :
C:\kitchens\SuperJustKitchen\Working_Folder\SYS\23563 (or whatever build you're using) \dpi_96\COMMON\Base_DPI_96
(You can find icon packs in the Themes section on the forums, Here, and Here.)

Next, click on Show Editor.
This will bring up all the .rgu files that are located in the kitchen. Scroll down to where you see the .rgu file located in the Shell. This takes about 2 to 3 minutes to finally pop up on my computer and it's a fast computer, so be patient^^.
Double click on it and it will open up the editor. Locate line 419. This is where you can 'brand' your ROM. All my ROMs I create usually have the branding '- Trib.' Put anything you want after the '- ' (and you also have to leave space right after the '- '). Then make sure to save. Then close out of the editor. Then go back to the main kitchen window. Then don't forget to save your ROM.
