Colors and more

Hi bros,
I installed and used the allblack thme, but still topand down are greyish. When I open the theme wih tkcreator, everthing looks black. How can you make it all black? (see pic)
I read about a carbon fiber skin (theme) for phonealarm, but I can't find it. Can anyone post it plse?

Try this. an improved version, should give you a black one.
You can get the better versionn of the carbonfiber skin from phonealarm website

Guys, thank you again for the information. I think that I stick with this screen. It looks good and is better than iphone screens, since our hima has so much more to offer.

So in the end how did you get your theme black?

i have a mda compact 2 not sure if its a charmer or magician..can you tell me how do i remove the battery icon from the bottom taskbar to the top task..

Charmer. Go Wiki and find t-mobile official site. Flash the new AKU ROM (Eg the update available to download) will do the job.

I would like to know as well...I tried installing the attached theme and still got the gray bars. Tried ThemeGen and UITweaker also, same story. Maybe my Wizard doesn't like black?

Have a read around the VJBaseHue threads. ZeBoxx posted some of the registry settings for an all black theme I think, and some of the users posted great links to ready made ones.

Just did a quick read through of your BaseHue forum and downloaded the CAB...installing it now although I think it may be the answer...

Unfortunately BaseHue wasn't the answer for my Wizard (but a nice app nonetheless)...
I did find a theme that got rid of my persistent gray bars and gave me the black that I was after.

It actually downloads as a pack of 4 themes for WM5 machines...the carbon black extra, or whatever it is was the one I used to great effect on my PPC.

Sorry, I hoped I was clear. BaseHue alone won't help you, but the research done by ZeBoxx and others and discussed in that thread, and the themes posted in that thread and others utitiled the flat soft keys needed for an all black theme IIRC.

Somewhere in My Documents on your device. I think it must be in the Themes folder.

In the "My Documents" folder in your device, not your storage card. That's it

WM6.1 "Slide"/"Slide Media" Home Screens (All Colours)

Matching wallpapers for all the colours available in Gonzo's WM6.1 ROM!
Default (Green), Light Green, Blue, Red, Yellow, Magenta, Grey, Brown, Purple. Extract to HOME dir on phone.
Have fun!
EDIT: This is the final release! Colours tweaked, rounded corners added to all schemes, works in both screen modes. Colours are available from the Home Screen Layout menu. No need to change wallpaper and colour scheme anymore, everything is automated.
The theme shown here is Light Green. The rest of the preview screenshots follows a few posts below! "Slide Media" Home Screens added.

It's look great but I think I missed something.
Is there any plugin to run this screen? I copied all files (included in Colours.zip and Slide Media.zip) into Home Dir and it's doesn't work...
Any complementary information ?

Just one comment, I'm using the blue theme and in the call status when taking or doing a call i get the default green background..

Thank you! Yes I know, that's a ROM issue I'm afraid! You'll have to live with that for now Anyway when you're doing a call you're not supposed to be looking at your phone! :-D

Well you obviously need WM61 on your phone, are you trying to use this on a WM6 ROM maybe?
When you extract the files to the Home DIR, there shoud be a bunch of xml-files named "Slide (Colour)" and a directory called Slide, that's it mate!

I own an HTCS710
Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard
it does not Work for me, only shows the wall Paper, but no data in HomeScreen, Any Ideas????

Change colors of roms?

is there any simple way to change the colors people have used in their roms? there are a few that I like as far as functionality goes, but personally I dont like the black or windows mobile green that most people have been using.

There is a thread regarding this already search "tf3d color". Now if your talking about the background image, that's also been covered search "tf3d background" or "tf3d wallpaper"

Try the diamond section, specifically the themes section, there is allot of really good info there, actually there is more stuff there than in the raph section.

Try using RC mod. It allows you to change the colors of your themes bars. You can download it from here

awesome, rc mod does just about what i was looking to do

colour keyboard skins for stock htc keyboard......

id like to add a bit of colour to the keyboard on my hd2 as im finding the gray look a bit dull. im thinking maybe something like red letter/number keys, black arrow and surrounding keys and leave the background bit between the keys as it is. the letter/number keys have to have a faded look, dark red at the bottom slightly fading at the top. is this possable, or am i wanting too much lol........

nah, looks no different to what we have now. i'd like a colour scheme something like this.......
is it even possable..?

i take it thats a no then.....

it has to be possible, try finding where the keyboards files are located or maybe there is a registry key for it ...
after you find where the files are at you can start playing around with them...
please let us know if you find out anything...

if what your looking for is to have the letters in white and the rest of the keyboard in red then yes it is possible.
I could do that for you if your willing to to pull about stock 30 files off your phone.
I just finished a keyboard skin for my touch pro 2 and it has a slightly different layout then the hd2.
That being said I need the stock files from an hd2 to be able to make a skin for one as it is.
I can make your skins in return for the files I need

He knows what he is doing graphically, I will say that
He might be able to make the skins for sure, but he cant pack it into a cab or change the color of the text. He has all his files in a zip
Hes had requests already for a cab and for different letter colors and he said he doesnt know how.
He also has alot of comments on there regaurding the SIPBitmaps.dll file not working properly. So I dont think he knows how to resolve that.
I dont blame him hough, It took me hell to fgure it out the first time around.

im using a windows 7 style swype keyboard.
elegancia comes with a skinned "typestyle" keyboard.

as far as swype goes theres a swype folder in the windows folder that you can play with the keyboard graphics and replace.

why not make a black and white wp7 style one but for HTC HD2 stock keyboard...I would really love to use that as the link i have before always has an incomplete installation thereby messing up the keyboard !!

Have you tried soft-reseting the device after installation?
Also..You'd probably get better answers as well as faster responses by asking questions in the developers original thread instead of starting a new one.

thanks. first time didnt work then did. but using with cht so dunno if that cause and issue? trying the chts theme too, whats the diffrence?
why does the background look blurry when the image file doesnt? and why dont the images you want to set as your today background never have the option to but the others do?
and also whys the background white on the calendar when the numbers and stuff are too. cant see a thing.

ok I guess im probably the best person to try and answer your questions on this one.....
ill start with the difference between the two versions.
the one from the theme thread contains a lot more files and is a more complete theme off the sense interface, however that does mean it can be a little bit of a pain in the ass to get it set up how you like it.
the chts version which im guessing you got from the link in my sig is kind of a "light version" it only really themes the cht stuff.
my advice would probably be to read up on chtscheduler and use that version. if you want other bits from the full theme then I can make you individual cabs for those.
as long as you have cht2.0 and cht scheduler installed everything should work fine.....
instructions for the chts one are in the thread.
the blurry wallpaper could be down to settings in chteditor, try selecting hq wallpaper mode. im not sure what you mean by options to set images as your today background.
your problem with the calendar is because when we created the theme we were using roms that had black text on the calendar tab and didn't really think about those with white text. tomorrow ill make a black and orange wallpaper for you if you want......
