anyone have a link for this?
Android developers make up download the upgrade and it don't contain the adb drivers.
Download HTC Sync from http://www.htc.com and it'll install the drivers.
I need them for Windows 7 can't find them on HTC website.
These are some i found on softpedia. These are the 64 bit ones. The 32 bit ones are also on there.

I don't use 64 bit but maybe this can help.

thanx tcberg this looks like it might work
cant get eclipse or any android tool to work its something to do to do with the jdk when i run eclipse it says no java development
...update reading threads there are problems with windows 7 and 64 bit os's kind of suprised they have custom roms and not an easy way to install this sdk ,beginning to piss me off now downloading a gig of stuff between jdks, eclipse etc for 4-5 hours and no result
I don't mean to hijack this thread but I am trying to find the 64-bit version of the android SDK without success. Apparently they don't make it. I'm trying to install z4root via adb but adb won't run at all. I had a similar problem with another app i downloaded (I'm in linux) and it said that the file was not found. When in reality it was right there in the same path I was in. Being in a 64-bit environment I can't call adb because it's not a 64-bit program. Any suggestions?
Hi all,
I can't seem to connect to my HTC One S via fastboot on Windows 8.1 64-bit. I just downloaded the HTC Sync manager and I believe it also installs the latest HTC drivers. I also have the latest Android SDK Manager with the Google USB drivers installed. I have not installed any API's from the Android SDK Manager, should I?
When I reboot my phone to bootloader and go to Fastboot Windows 8.1 does can not recognize my HTC One S I looked around and found a solution for the HTC One. However I have not tried it with my phone. Does anyone know if it will work without harm? My laptop also has only USB 3.0 slots.

I have no problem with Windows 8.1 recognizing my HTC One S when it is turned on. I can transfer files without problem.
in windows 8.1 fastboot is not working yet. in windows 8 it's ok. i have read somewhere that some people got it worked with usb 3.0 but i am not sure. i don't have a usb 3.0 port on my pc so i cannot test it, but you can do a search.
i have usb3.0 and not working
Asus p8z68-v lx with laterst drivers
Windows 8.1 Pro X64
HTC One S
I ended up using a Windows 7 PC. Too bad because Windows 8.1 is really a great system. Anyway, in my first post I've shared the link to the post that explains how to install USB 3.0 drivers by Intel. They say that the Intel drivers work, however I really don't wanna go through the whole procedure. Whoever does go through it, please share your experience
Um...
It works perfectly...
USB 3.0, Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit.
Hey,
Question is simple, Windows 8.1 won't recognize my Oneplus One. What should I do?
Thanks
Download the proper drivers, on my windows 7 box I used the ones from the SDK, on windows 8.1 I don't have the SDK on it so I just used the universal naked drivers, a quick search will find you the right ones
Maybe you can post links? I've searched put I haven't found "working" ones
I'm on mobile so its kind of a pain, but here is search result which you can easily do the same
try doors, they might recognize oneplus
Sent from my A0001 using XDA Free mobile app

+1 to this I use Universal Naked Drivers and they work great.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2386956
Follow the instructions on how to install it on Windows 8.1 make sure its 0.73 and not 0.72
download, install, and update the android sdk.
open your devmgmt.msc with administrator rights (device manager)
select your device under the device manager
right click, update driver; and choose the usb driver under google. i chose adb composite interface, i think.
there are some variations to this theme, but it's all pretty close to the same.
Download android SDK package. Standard android drivers are included

Ok...i had this issue when trying to root my OPO. To solve this, I used Samsung drivers instead of google drivers.
The normal tablets name is "Telekom Puls" and is from a German ISP. When I turn Developer Mode and Debug Mode on, it identifies itself as "MT65XX Android Phone" in the Windows 10 Device Manager.

I was looking at different websites on how to make universal adb drivers, but it won't work, Windows 10 64 bit is complaining then that the .inf file has been tampered with and refuses to install it.
I looked into multiple similar posts (also here on XDA), but none of them was conclusive. Does anyone have pointers or advice on how to make this thing work?
Also tried the ADBDriverInstaller by Koush, it says incompatible with Windows 64 bit when I try to download the driver.
I also tried various other prebuilt drivers from around the net, but none helped.
Is there any way to get this Tablet installed so I can start making apps?
I would appreciate any help.
ps.: I hope this is the right place, I am new to these forums but I read a lot here and you guys rock. Neither Reddit nor Stack Exchange could help me, so here is my hope for you guys .
pps: Can't include links to the stuff I tried
You need to disable Windows 10's drive signature check, then the usb driver will work. See this german howto.
I have been trying to download adb for android. I use tutorials on youtube. I go to the adb studio website. I know my laptop is old. I have a Centrino processor @ 1.66 GHZ. 3 GB sdram. Plenty of hard drive space. Absolutely nothing happens when I click the download link. I choose 32 bit windows. No matter WHICH link I click, it doesn't freeze my machine, seems to just ignore me. I downloaded it immediately on a core i5 MacBook pro.
I am guessing it is my machine. Can't find info on the adb studio website.

There's now a post in the news section that will always have the latest adb and fastboot binaries available for download.
Have a look here: https://www.xda-developers.com/google-releases-separate-adb-and-fastboot-binary-downloads/
Hope it helps!
