Arabizer Problem

Death Roms till v4.1 do not work at all; you just get install unsuccessfull even before it starts to install on first block, tried:
1- install from fresh upgrade didn't work
2- install from hard reset did not work.
3- installed net cf 2 and chose as default, did not work
4- installed net cf 3.5 on cf 2 and chose 3.5 as default did not work
5- tried on another handset still doesn't work
6- tried intsall on SD card
iat first i thought it was framework issue but i think it's not, it has to be something in the core which i know nothing about.
tried the ryV5 rom also has the same problem as death roms and would not install.
Can anyone help find a solution to this please as it would be great to get it to work on death and ryV5 roms and should be intresting to know why such application would not work, it might help in near future for other applications.

I have installed In4mobility software on all of the cooked 6.1 ROMs and it is running fine. The only issue I have is it always defaults to Arabic Keyboard, even when in same session but switching between programs. Other than that it is running great. I would install on Main Mem,,,,, avoid installing on SD card, it will become buggy, and might cause freezing.
Do a search for Informobility software. It is not that expensive.

i know it works but not the keyboard, and it crashes the device n regular bases and makes it really slow
imaginet arabizer is always the best choice

Creating own ROM - Net CF 3.5 and SQL CE 3.5 problem

Hi...
I'm creating my own ROM. But have small problem.
My ROM is based on oficial HTC Kaiser ROM, which includes NET CF 2.0 and SQL CE 3.0.
So I decided to remove old versions of Net CF and SQL CE.
But... When I remove NetCF and SQL CE... And replace it by newest versions (both 3.5), the ROM doesn't work. When I flash it into Kaiser and turn it on, cprog.exe is crashing, Contacts and Calendar doesn't work...
I think it's caused by SQL CE 3.5... If I remove Net CF, but put back SQL CE 3.0 everithing works OK.
Can you help me with removing old SQL CE and upgrading my ROM to 3.5 version?

I am not sure if this will help but here goes anyway....
I had issues integrating .NetCF 3.5 into my custom ROM by replacing the .NetCF 2.0 that was in there by default. The ROM would build but none of the .NetCF applications would run. It turned out to be a 'module' issue with the OEM package I was using. All the OEM packages of .NetCF 3.5 I downloaded contained modules for the main .exe and some .dlls as well as just files for other .dlls. I assume this has something to do with memory locations and using modules instead of files, however I have never got my head around this
Anyway I recooked my ROM by using the extracted files from a .NetCF 3.5 .cab I downloaded and it worked. I assume there are benefits from using OEM packages that have modules instead of the files, however I couldn't find one that would work.
I also have SQLCE 3.5 integrated into my ROM.

well, as far as .NET CF 3.5 goes, I would use the OEM package here: http://rapidshare.com/files/75044332/NETCF_3.5_OEM.zip.html. It's the only one I've tried that completely works
As far as SQLCE, I use the one posted in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=421821, because I use Beejive and it does not work with SQLCE 3.5

I figured it out by leaving sqlcese30.sys.dll from original ROM, removed folders SqlCeMobile SqlCeMobile_Lang_* (for me SqlCeMobile_Lang_0405) and replaced them by 3.5 version. Everithing works OK now.
I started this thread because I've found many same threads here... But no solution.

SIM STK Development (Dual SIM functionality)

I've been doing some basic hacking on the Android and happen to own one of the Magic SIM products. This is for dual sim functionality.
I did a quick write up on my blog but seem to be stuck. My next step is probably to download the Android Stk source and attempt to compile the latest one. For this test I used a binary I found floating around in a zip file called "app_s". The Stk.apk I used had a byte count of 49,544.

If anyone has any comments or has compiled a newer Stk.apk please let me know. I'd love to try it out. Otherwise I need to go setup a development environment to do a full compile.

very very very interesting. For me it will be very importat to have the opportunity to use 2 sim card simultaneusly. update us for everything new about it!

No news???dual sim in my desire works fine with sense rom, but with rom like defrost or miui (with classic android) it won't work and i can use only one sim!!!!

Hi are you still working on stk development? I cannot use my dual sim withj my 4.3 SlimBean for my galaxy s2 g (I9100G). I would be curious to know what you have done so far in terms of stk
