I've got the new version on my Samsung i730 (with WM5) and it works great, however . . . as with the WM2003 version, the vibrate function does not work. Other i730 users reported this as well on the old version.

I am glad to hear that you are happy with the product.
Unfortunately, we did not have access to every WM device out there
And anyhow, Samsung never actually published the API to vibrate the device, so this is probably the problem you experience.
If someone knows how, we will be more then happy to add that support to EZdial.

Well, I installed this liking that Picture dial screen ,but I am using the Eten dialer cab with paulya skin....could not get the contact dial to work. and using the default skin...was too big and couldn't get to the backspace to clear so tried the vertical, but it would only show one button instead of three for a match...will this just not work for those of us who have a different skin?

Well the software was not intended originally for ETEN since the dialer is very much different from the default one. But I guess it is working and some quick guy from Israel adjusted the skin so you can try it out.

Thanks for informing. The software looks great. But just a question before I install the trial version.
Will this work with the PPC in landscape mode. I am asking this because I have an I-Mate Jasjar and mostly I keep in the laptop mode which means the screen is in landscape mode. Some times back I loaded the phoneplus II application and it did not work in the landscape mode as it would hide the bottom most row of buttons. And what about Phoneplus III for WM5 does this work in landscape mode.
I shall be obliged if you can provide us with this information

The software os designed to work with every resultion and every orientatin. Meaning it will work in QVGA, VGA and square in protrait and landspace.
It only requires the proper skin to be used.
The release comes ready with QVGA portraint, landcsape and square and was tested successfully on Wizard in supoprted modes.
I will publich some VGA skins ofr the JJ later today that will work fine for you.

Ok, installed the skin and it's alittle better, but not quite there....also the photo dialer still does not work...how do I get this to work. I am hoping I can get it to work so I don't lose the great Eten dialer and skins that I have.

Can you please specify what excatcly is not working in teh picture dial?
If you go to the install directory i.e \Program Files\EZdial\ and launch PictureDial.exe directly - does it work then?

If I launch directly by going into \Program Files\EZDial\PictureDial.exe, yes it does launch, but when I am in the phone and press up on d-pad for speed dial...I get the default speed dial screen.

This is because the ETEN dialer uses the DPAD up for it's own use.
Unfortunately, I am not sure there is anything we can do here.
If we could add that to the menu would that be helpfull for you? Is that something that you would use? i.e right softkey and then - picture dial?

I don't really use the Left soft key in phone which is set for Contacts...but am wondering if I can somehow manage to get Smartkey to open the photo dialer from withing the phone...let me check on that otherwise will have to try and get the left soft key in phone program to open photo dialer.

Just one more thing does your latest WM5 compatible version of PhonePlus III also work in landscape mode.
Sorry for repeatedly asking you these questions but you know I sort of don't like installing and uninstalling software pn my phone and therefore as far as possible I try to confirm what I want.

Sorry to say that PhonePlus will not support Landscape mode.
And no problem with bothering me, this is what the forum is all about.
We can use that to better the product for everyone's benefit.

After choosing the contact and tapping 'sms' to send a message..the messaging app loads very slowly. Not sure whether its some software conflict or EZDial has problems calling up the internal messaging app.
Btw..i'm using ipaq rw6828.

Regarding the slow opening of messaging application I think this is a problem of WM5.
What I have done is that I use PocketPlus as my task manager. Within pocketplus I have set the messaging application amongst the exception list so that it does not close when I press the X button but only minimizes. While this takes up some RAM but on the other hand the messaging application responds almost immediately.

Doesn't the patched version (from Jade) not display certain items on the Home tab? I noticed on the screenshots provided that it shows quite a bit of detail on the Home tab with the original version, but hearing reports that with the patched version it does not?

What the hell :S, ive installed ezinput from the mega, then it asks me to restart, and now my phone hangs at the radio initalization screen and it won't boot into windows mobile anymore :S, now I have to Hard reset my device. So let this be a warning for all of you

The warning is that this is all brand new software from a phone that isn't even out yet , posted so that people can try it out on devices that it was not even meant for.
C'mon use your head . What were you expecting ? WM 7 from Microsoft.? If you are going to hang around here, Backup...backup.......backup everyday and be prepared to hard reset anytime and always. Or else don't try beta software that is meant for another phone. Simple
By the way, the new Manila works great on my phone, except for the weather tab, ( doesn't work at all ) as far as I can see, it is just a cosmetic upgrade ( new theme that's all ) and not worth the effort.
My 2 cents,

Im just telling everyone about my experience of this software, I'm not asking for an opinion. Its just an warning and nothing else. Im not expecting anything.

The packages have just leaked around so they are expected to have errors. I tried this bunch today and have Manilla, EZ Input, Menu Enhancement (pretty good) and Notification Enhancement run smoothly. However, until now, I still can't get the dependencies of Manilla (the remain only need Shared and Framework, I think).
Album and Audio Manager run ridiculously .
P/S: I cooked into ROM.

I was merely pointing out to everyone ,that if you are going to experiment with software and packages from another phone, then don't be shocked and irritated when it crashes your phone.

lol, looks like someone forget "use at your own risk". I normally stuck at boot screen of windows when cooking. Be patience

I tried Camera package lonely, it acted nothing. However, when I cook both 5.04 and this new version of camera, I got new version worked.
New version take picture really fast but the screen preview is set to highest zoom level by default. Maybe some dlls from 5.0.4 do the trick.

Latest Flash Player and X2 panels

Does anyone has the latest Flash Player
Coz I was trying to get the X2 Panel running on my HD2,
and most of the panels are working fine apart the city and growing plant,
I've also find out that they are both SWG files which mean a normal flash player would be able to run them
I've installed the flash player 7 and the flash lite 3.1 but still they are not working
those SWG files run fine on my PC so they aren't corrupted.
anyone can help?

Do you have the install for X2 Panels? if so where can i DL? if you go search Adobe Flash Player PPC on google you will get it!!

tried the adobe flash player 7 for ppc, but the two panels mentioned above still refuse to work.
i d/l the panels from a Chinese websites and total size of all required softwares is over 45 MB. So if MG you want it, i can only send it to you via MSN.

it would work on other roms if u change some linking names in the files

Hi, I don't think its the problem of roms
as i have tried WWE, UK T mobile, HK CSL and many other roms but yet,
when i run the pixel city night and growing panel, it pops up with the same error: unable to create player
So i think its the problem of the flash player
could you tell me how do you get your panels working on your HD2?

Same problem, downloaded the rar from htcpedia but the graphics heavy panels, namely pixel city night and growing arent working. They produce an error every time.
Nice to have the tiles, i use it as an rss reader and to show off lol.

Ok so i got it to work *turned out i had to change the program files folder name..* but i cant get anything except the tiles panel *wich actually is pretty cool* to work because my device has no more memory left!
I also cant seem to install the other panels on my memory stick.
It runs smooth and looks pretty cool i'll admit but they will have to improve it some more till the point that all the panels work, then we'll have something cool to play *and showoff * with haha

I installed this yesterday and played with it, it really doesnt do anything useful!! After the 10 cab install i was hoping for something great!!
Can someone tell me why you would want this?or am i missing something?

if you don't use copilot you can delete it in programmabestanden or program files.
i did and you can save a lot more at an other thread

Thanks for noticing. I did totally forget about that upcoming update (that was expected months ago) I eventually get used to the "old" copilot. Didn't check their site anymore. All was good... till now

This version is less complete. It does not include the useful "Quick Menu" for instance....
I think it's actually an old version. Isn't it?

The last version (once updated via CoPilot Central) was 8.0.0.557 which suggests that this .659 version is newer, not older I think.

Actually it's the old interface. The one I had cooked in when I bought my HD2.
Since Copilot has totally revamped the interface, including a better menu and also a convenient quick menu which is launched at start up.
the version posted in this thread misses many features. So it is maybe a new version for HD2, but i is old compared to the regular version available on ALK website.
No comparison.

You will find that the quick menu has only been removed as it conflicted with the Navigation Panel and other features on the HD2.
I use the Navi Panel, and before if you clicked HOME on it, it would open Copilot, but thats it. It would stop on the quick menu.
Now it loads up your home favourite, so you can just click go.
ALSO, it now works with Footprints, so you can click on the footprint coordinates and it will give you directions to it. Again, this didnt work before.
Finally, Device screen orientations now works. Before I had to set it, now it rotates to either portrait or landscape.
These are all things that didnt work for ME before.
So in all, there are a few fixes there. I also prefer the black menu, suits the HD2 more.

Text to Speech
Can anyone confirm if Text to Speech and Traffic now work with this version?

Actually, I noticed a bug with this update.
It switches on automatically the bluetooth (and of course doesn't turn it off when I leave Copilot).
Anyone else noticed it?

I spoke to ALK support and they said that the HD2 needs it's own specific update to make TTS and Traffic work.
I am hoping this is the update, but as I'm not due to drive anywhere over the next few days it would be great if someone could confirm it works.
I'll also ask ALK if this is the update they were talking about.

I heard that on the Iphone version the TTS was not very good, and also that you have to select a male voice to have it working (don't remember the name)...

Was using the latest standard v620 one, TTS and Premium Live Services work great as it does on this current one, but I hate the black theme and I really miss the startup screen which asks me what to do.
Plus I found it to be buggy, tends to randomly crash during startup which the official standard one does not and I found the HD2 version to have very sluggish menu transitions while the standard blue themed one runs silky smooth.

I agree with this. Did not like this HD2 version neither.
The interface of the latest standard one is indeed really better....
Also I found some bugs in this new HD2 version (for instance the "More Options" button, which does not work).

To do this go into the More Settings and then click on Sound. You should see a tick box where you can now turn off the start up sound and even the button sounds.

Installed it to try it.I started the quick tutorial that appears when you first run it. It doesn't get past this screen. None of the buttons work to advance the tutorial.
If I press back, I can use the application normally. But you might need to look at fixing the tutorial getting stuck. Unless that's all there is?

Works fine for me, including tutorial.
Tutorial and integration with the camera and gallery is actually quite well polished

Crashing on 4.4 nexus 4 after took a picture or open one from gallery

I was just on Google+ discussing apps that create effects and whether they are good or bad for the photography industry.
That is another topic in itself but then I saw a post for this. I think this is a very promising app. Going to give it a test drive now.

For me the tutorial buttons work till the end of the tutorial.
Nice app!
Can also be used to blur faces out

Nice app. It can be a bit confusing at first, but it's a nice idea. Looking forward to future updates.

Yes, this version works.
Was able to take the picture, although when I tried to define the area I had to use two fingers on the screen instead of one, was not able to apply any effects, but was able to save.

yes, i knew its, from /sdcard/pictures/portrait lens/~tmp.jpg, im just rename to test.jpg then upload to my server

~tmp.jpg - screen resolution file for quick sharing
