I wanted to change some icons, but it isn't really working out...
I have this app JWMD Iconchanger, when I change an Icon it only changes in the startmenu but not on my quick links.
When I create a new quicklink from the new icon, it just displays the old one...

Go to My device/Application Data/HTC/Proglauncher
Delete all files inside, use JWMD or CSMI to apply new icons, restart and enjoy
Hmmm worked for 2 icons, rest remained the old ones
Rename icons (add a letter infront of every icons name) and copy them back to device. It should then work !!!

Your only option is to change the start menu icons and sub-files/folders with CSMI with the icons rspillo as provided, but i think inside settings menu you can't change any icon
with program icon change v.2.6b you can change all the icon of your topaz, save the theme, and the prox custom ROM you loaded your theme with stock icon

I was just wondering if the locks in Co0kies HT were customisable like the analogue clocks. The windows lock in particular could look very nice if the icon could be skinned.
Any idea?
The CHT Lockscreenfiles are manila files:
7A4563E2_manila Windows Slider
24B65A89_manila Background Manila Slider

50F29E37_manila HD mini Slider

They can be changed like the analog clock files.
That's great... Now to find someone who can design custom locks, I'm clueless with that stuff .
Ask Dinik. He already made a lockscreen for Windows and in HD mini style.
Dinik is already too busy with too many projects, he gets tons of requests everyday so I doubt he would have time for this.

Actually, any design that you like can be used as the lockscreen slider. I myself have made a bat slider for the Cookie lockscreen. See screenshot below.
Image Hosting
I would like to ask the following :
Tried and replaced the default manila file for slider icon (26082591_manila and 61515c17_manila) with two of dinik slider icons , but I came up with a messed up slider (look at screen shot) ... I assume that the dimentions of dinik icons are different ... any way to fix that ?

Take the old image in the manila file as a template for the new image. And check the image file in CFC Gui. In "replace" it's the last file as standard. You have to change this. Seems like you took the false image (windows slider and manila slider are different).

Open the old image in your photo editing program (I'm using PaintShop Pro). Then add a new layer for working. In this you have to insert the new images (for example by copy and paste). Then you can adjust the new image over the old. At last delete the layer with the old image and save the file. With CFC Gui you can import the new image in the corresponding manila file. I'll attach the necessary old image files.

Hi mate ... never been good at editing pictures ... I never worked with Paintshop pro or any kin d of software for editing ... so I downloaded it and tried everything in my powers but I really cant get it done. So can you please teach me on how to add layers and replace an image with another ....
If you don`t have time to do this , can you please make me two files for CHT lockscreen ? Thank you in advanced !

Yeah I think a lot of people are using Anastasia and these locks would fit perfectly. If anyone could skin them to cookies HT that would be great (if dinik doesnt mind of course)

I'll ask Dinik (made it already a little bit modded for myself).
Dinik said, he will make a lockscreen in his CHT theme. We have only to wait some days.
I hope we can get different elements from his theme, I really only want his CHT lock and clock.
Can someone make a skin using the lock from the dusk theme? Also could it be done in different colours?

I edited CPR files, because I want have start menu similar to HTC Sense list of all programs. I did it similar, but I need to change taskbar and softkey bar background to black, is it possible?
I have Touch Pro2 with 2.07 stock ROM.

Are you refering to the default windows mobile start menu? I'm guessing you are refering to how the taskbar becomes "transparent" when you apply a different background. I have no idea how to accomplish this with coding... but it is possible to change to a theme with black task bars, and manually replace the background/wallpaper image in the windows directory (or whereever it's located) with an image of your choice, using the same name as the original. The easiest way (if you are getting an unable to copy b/c of write protection) is to copy the image over from your storage card using total commander or Resco file explorer.

Exactly, I have "transparent" top and bottom bars now, but I want to have it black. I use "HTC Black" theme which has black bars beyond the start menu. Maybe I should create png file with black bars

Try the Metro Theme XAP from Nickg and go to Custom settings and select system tray. You can also change the background, tiles and text colors with preset themes or completely customize the colors with the app too.
