yes try core player or the free version TCPMP.
but don't forget both player don't support AC3 Audio Codec!!!

When i had my Shadow (Juno) i was able to play 3gp videos. But i bought a Touch Dual and they wont play anymore. Why is this? I have the tcmp player on my dual if that helps.

does somebody knows a player that play m3u (video) streams ?
I want to play my dreambox tv streams on my handy.
I can save the m3u File local (HD Browser) . Then when i open the file, there is no streamprogram (video) who can play it. i have rock player - but this programm doesnt start with this files.
Anbody a idee ?

I'm not very sure if this will work but try WinAmp, you can use it for free from the Android Market, but because WinAmp is a computer media player then I guess it may be able to play it.
ANY1 any solution for this? I have exactly the same problem, apart from the receiver which is Kathrein instead of Dreambox. I found Mobo Player, which is supposed to play the stream, but it does not show any video nor audio, although showing time running, as if playing. Any developments on this matter?

Winamp is for audio only.
I am looking for a video player for my m3u playlist as well.
I found xiialive but it plays only audio.. I have tried many video players from the market but no luck.

Just tested
MX Played can't open m3u
Vitamio opens m3u file but didn't play stream video.
Rockplayer opened m3u file and there was only sound.
Deadbeef plays online streams
as long as you've installed the proper plugins pack.

which codec you use or version of MX player?
I have pay version and codec from there custom for AC3 audio and m3u file didnt work and same problem is with neon codec.

I used kodi to open m3u and play video/audio with MX player , it works magically

i have been using mobo for some time, but foun d out recently about mvideo player...
it has al functions as mobo player + some extras lige fetching subtitles from player and joinig them to video file..( i was totaly impressed by this function) only minus is that does not support flv files. bu you can set under options to open another player is m doesnt support file format

now i'm just waiting for the 700, now i really want to experience android (esspecially 4.0, last time i got 2.3) but i don't have one
BS player lite is the best for me. Think it's better than MX player, BS player has it's own HW engine. Also MX player stopped supporting DTS sound.
MX for me. It even has a child lock which is a life saver.
Mx player + kids lock is the ultimate car tranquilizer.
For me it's dice player. Old avi, mkv, 720p mkv, mini 720p mkv, rmvb all play w/o any problem

For the moment, I use MX Player pro without problem with the child lock plugin
And I use VLC update 24 for AVI also, and it's plays well

VLC --> VLC for Android
MX Player --> MX Player (Additional codecs avaiable)
