Hi!
im searching a color taskbar for QVGA resolution that i can install and uninstall easyly: with a CAB, for uninstall if after i dont like it from from "Uninstall Menu" of windows mobile. My version of WM is 6.1.
I have searched in the forum, but only i've found *dll and other CABs, but nobody tells if works fine with QVGA ...
Someone knows any???

well i got the new omnia from verizone, this actually my first smartphone but i dont like the widgets theme i saw some vids on youtube and they had the MANILA 2D theme which i like alot.
HOW can i install it if i can because i found out that manila 2d is only for QVGA?
Also i hate the white keypad on the omnia, is there any black ones and can someone help on how to install them?
modacco has a m2d rom for the i900, but i don't thinks its compatible with the i900 though..... i could be wrong i don't know anything really about omnia's. This is an htc site you won't find a whole lot of support here.
The main problem is -a- your device is non-htc and -b- your awkward screen resolution.

I installed it on my i910. Works fine. It just takes up a lot of system memory.

is it possible to install this WM6.5 home screen from cab file on wm 6.1?
I've got BA, and there is wm 6.5 on ba, but i want only this today screen, not whole new ROM.
I tried to use this cab, but it not work. Is installed, the registry settings are in the right place, but it doesn't show on today screen's items list. I tried to enable it from registry cause I saw that was disabled but no difference. And I cannot uninstall it.
It's not real.

since I installed the Cotulla WM6.1 on my magician I tried different today homescreens or plugins like fewidget, throttlelauncher, HTC Home, Androkkid, Manila 2D etc.. some did work, but in the way I wanted - and I'm already at the end with my nerves
Finally I found Wisbar Advance Desktop and it works pretty good. I installed it on my storage card.. BUT there is one problem, I can't switch between themes. There is no theme witch works if I click on change themes, I can see them, I can also click on them, BUT nothing changes, I only get the default portrait theme..
Believe me, I installed the themes correctly..
I also tried to install WisBar Advance Desktop on main memory, but the same.. no difference!
Please can anybody help me!!?

For some weeks now I have the HTC Touch pro....great phone...a bit slow sometimes and needs some tweaking as I have seen and read about.
I already have made some mod's to the TF3D (transparent clock and slider, Background for all pages) but I was wondering: Is manilla a different name for TF3D? Or is it a tweaked OS ?
Do I need manilla to alter some things on my phone?
Can I tweak TF3D myself? What programs are needed for that?
The files for the transparent clock are something like: 234sae6_manilla
No extention! How to added them. Adding .jpg is not working!

Manila is the codename of TouchFLO.. Manila 2D (M2D) is TouchFLO 2D, and Manila 3D (M3D) is TouchFLO 3D..
If you don't know what is codename, it's a name from the developers before they will give the name for that product. For example the HTC Touch Pro's codename is HTC Raphael. Dopod 900, Qtek 9000, O2 Exec, etc have the same codename : HTC Universal. Sometimes the codename are the same as the product name (Microsoft Windows 7, HTC Legend, HTC Desire etc)
Manila is an application which runs on top of Microsoft Windows Mobile operating system, which replaces the today screen, just like the Spb Mobile Shell, so it is NOT an operating system, the OS is still Windows Mobile.
Once you got the file, you don't need to add extension, just copy to "Windows" folder under "My Device"
TIP : Disable Manila first, sometimes you need to soft-reset if the file access is denied

So a any ROM on this forum contains the OS (Windows mobile) with a custom manila version!
So I can custom manila myself!
But how do I do it? Is there a manila manual on how to change/customize it?
Or how to at tabs to manila?
Anyone by any chance got a .cab for windows mobile 6.5 that works, the ones i have tried just give me a white screen on reboot
