Hi All,
I was running TheOfficial TMO DRC92 - EU v2.1.2. Then i decided to switch back to CyanogenMod because the calendar issue seemed solved (CyanogenMod v4.2.3.1).
Using the instructions posted here: http://db.androidspin.com/android_developer_display.asp?developerid=3
It went wrong where the phone automatically boosts where to hold the home button in the boosting process (item 7 - Apply sdcard:choose zip *PICK dream_devphone_userdebug-ota-14721.zip* from the list
ALLOW IT TO INSTALL FIRST.....you will see the "unbox" image.........then it will automatically reboot HOLD HOME button while it reboots.)
I saw the unbox image and after that it went wrong. It seems that only
dream_devphone_userdebug-ota-14721.zip is installed. When trying recovery mode (home - power) i got the image below. Pressing home - power again gives me an other recovery screen but that has not much impact, probably lower level.
HOW TO GET THE RECOVERY SCREEN BACK FOR A WIPE AND NEW INSTALL? Thanks everyone!

You can start the phone in fastboot by holding the BACK button and pressing Power. Then connect the phone by USB, and boot the recovery by the command "fastboot boot recovery-RAv1.2.0G.img"
You can try following this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=537365
(if you cut SDK and the recovery .img you can start from step 7)
Wow EMF,
Thanks, i am back! The only thing is i have to go in command prompt thru pc to install a rom or extension to a rom. Holding "home" and "power" gives the same picture as before and not the recovery console... Strange?!

HTC One M8 for Windowsโ
This RUU uploaded by Mark F24 over at wpcentral. It is ONLY for the AT&T branded device.
For the AT&T Version go HERE
THIS WILL ERASE ALL INFORMATIN! ALL DATA WILL BE GONE. YOU FLASH AT YOUR OWN RISK
HOW to Flash
Download and extract the RUU
Power off your device
Press and hold both the Volume Up and Volume Down keys
Continue to hold the volumes buttons and press the Power Button.
The device should power up (release the power button) and continue to hold both volume buttons
A white screen with barcodes and a series of text at the top should now be presented to you. This is the bootloader
Connect the device to your computer and allow windows to install drivers for it.
Once the Drivers are installed and the device is recognized lunch the ROM Update Utility from the extracted .zip
A rectangle should appear after a short moment claiming to be verifying the information on your device.
If it sees your device the phone will immediately restart and show a black screen with green text. (this is the UEFI being flashed)
It will reboot after a short moment.
Once again you will be presented with a black green with green text. This screen will take longer since it is flashing the OS. You will see the files flashed (RPM, CP. Main OS etc)
Once it is Completed the Utility will say it was successful and your device will restart several times.
You will be presented with setup wizard and you may continue on from there.

Can this be used for gpe or developer edition m8?
Please reupload firmware
Good evening at all!
Sorry for the trouble but after long hours of research and attempts without solving the problem I thought to try to ask with a thread.
I'll explain what's my problem: I have a lg f70 d315 that no longer wants to start.
It has not been used for a long time and I can not tell you what was done to it last time.
The phone stays locked in the boot screen with the LG logo.
I tried to perform a factory reset from the stock recovery but the situation is not changed. (it stays stucked on "performing factory rest")
I tried to start the device in download mode pressing Vol UP while booting but instead of showing the download mode screen, the fastboot commands are shown (as in picture)

The bootloader is locked so I can not flash a modified recovery (which I find here https://forum.xda-developers.com/chef-central/android/recovery-twrp-2-8-7-0-lg-f70-d315-t3278742) or flash the file laf.img necessary to access the download mode.
any attempt I do to flash shows these errors
Even when testing with "fastboot boot recovery.img" commands, the phone loads the TWRP recovery but remains locked in the twrp logo screen, without continuing or allowing other operations.
is the device unrecoverable?
Connecting it to the PC is only recognized when it is in fastboot, in all other cases (with mobile phone off, during startup) is not shown by windows.
Thank you very much for your help or just having read the post,
Enrico
Thanks goes to Aadil Gillani for starting first update thread:
[FIX]: If you are STUCKED on 11.0.2.0 UPDATE
I am making this guide because many people are stuck on this older version of Android 10 these were the lucky users who didn't bricked their device but they got stuck on that update because Xiaomi isn't giving OTA to them for some reason due to...
forum.xda-developers.com
NO BOOTLOADER UNLOCKING IS NEEDED. NO DATA LOSS UPDATE.
EDIT: I've updated my phone two days ago, RAM management is much better, phone feel more snappy then v11.0.10.0.
Problems with "customize your pixel" and "add another email account" are still present.
The procedure is the same for all:
1. Download all needed updates.
2. Copy them to SD card
3. Reboot to recovery. Shutdown phone and power on (keep pressing Power Button and Volume Up at the same time for 5 seconds).
You will see "No Command" screen, just hold Power Button and press Volume Up button for 2 seconds.
4. Select "Apply update from SD card" and then select exact update.
5. After each update preform full boot of OS. Let the updater finish their tasks.

thanks for your guide.
Is it possible to do so with magisk installed and just flash patched 11.0.14.0 boot.img afterwards by adb?
I am trying to root this Samsung Note 10.1 N8020 and install a custom ROM with Odin. When I try to enter the download mode screen (Volume down + Power on), this is the screen that pops up. What should I do from here? Odin and windows do not recognize the tablet in this screen mode and I cannot root while android is booted up.
Exynos root program did not show an active option for rooting.
Thanks

I don't know what you are trying, but if you want to install a custom rom, your next step would be to flash twrp.

Thanks very much. For some reason, my vol up and vol down are switched. Download mode was vol up and recovery mode was vol down. Anyway, will try flashing the trwp now.
Hi,
I am fairly new to flashing and rooting android devices. I managed to root my tablet a few months ago using the following sc00ter98 procedure:
Pad 11 (TB-J606F) Unlock! Magisk! RoooooT !!!
https://4pda.to/forum/index.php?showtopic=1014576&view=findpost&p=107199725 Translator from Russian: https://www.deepl.com/translator ๐๐(y)

But after that I noticed that my tablet no longer received Android updates, I wanted to manually update Android using the LMSA utility. I made a backup of my data before that so I could afford to lose everything. But once the process was finished my system won't boot anymore. In fact I am stuck on a menu at startup not knowing what to do.

This is the only menu I have access to. I can change the "START" with volume buttons and there are :
Restart bootloader
Recovery Mode
Power off
Boot to FFBM
Boot to QMMI
But watherver I choose, this only reboot the tablet and then go back to this menu.
I would then very much need your know-how if you please!
Thans by advance,
Jiddu
Run this command:
fastboot set_active a
It worked very well !! Big Thanks !
What was the point after my "Rescue" action with LMSA ?
