[REQ]Make Notification Bar on CHT 1.7.1 opaque

Is there a cab to make the notification bar opaque, I've searched and I've only been able to make the calendar bg opaque. Anybody know where I can find this? Thanks in advance.

It comes from Cookie's Home Tab - which also allows you to add analogs clock/s, customise the number of quick links plus much, much more

Hey there fellas ,
I'm new in this thing.. cant been tru some threads but cannot find the exact one that i m looking for..
i want just the taskbar and the softkey bar to be 100% transparent with default 1.66 rom..
seen some cabs with clock transparency or tabs but not the bars.. could anyone make a cab for it for me to install it.. Thank you..

If you have done a search, you would have found out that this is NOT possible. The only way to make it 'look' transparent is to have the bottom and top bar match the wallpaper and HDWalls can do that for you.

so the keys are being enveloped by glassy almost transparent boxes, I got it now.
do the icons being replaced when applying this cab?
is it only for 6.5.X (COM5) ROMs, or it's ok with 6.5 (COM2) ROMs as well?

CHT 2.0 Softkey background
Hello mattes!
I'm sorry if any threat about this was already written, but I just couldn't find the info I need (neither I have much time lately). I just want to know how can I change CHT's softkey bar backgound, the one that is displayed at the bottom, intead of Manila's.

[REQ] CHT transparent appointments

Could someone make a cab or post some edited manila files for it?
Already tried by myself, but everytime when i overwrite the manila files with my edited ones sense isnt able to start anymore after the softreset... and i have to restore a backup with spb backup.
Would be nice if someone could help me =).
If its possible with 50%/80%and 100% transparency.

This is for the new version 1.8 of CHT. I had cabs that worked for the last version but not on this version.

attached file worked for me to make alarm and date bar transparent

This is where I'm at so far. I need cabs to make the Calendar and the slider tab transparent. I don't want the whole slider tab transparent, just the black background. I'll keep looking.

Can't remember where I got it from but here are some cabs for the 'Slider-up-button'
I'm still surching for 'full-transparant-cabs' for the media player widget and the calender box, someone?

The new cht 1.8 lets you change the background for all. e.g. calendar, music and weather etc.
Just click on your right soft key and click new wallpaper and you'll see a list of places to add new wallpapers and backgrounds.

Here's what you need. Diniks Anastasia CHT v1.0. This however wont make the calander transparent.

I also have a transparent clock back ground but when I click it show the selected background - which then doesn't disappear.
Could you post the cab / link, or advise how you go transparent clock background...?

No it doesn't, but thanx for your reply. I want certain elements on homescreen (the media player widget and calender list) transparant, not the tabs...
I already found some cabs to make them 50% opaque, I want them 100% however!

I have been searching the forum with no luck for a transparent sense bar that i can still use the Elegancia Manbo V slider and sense icons with. Can someone please post a cab just making the sense selection bar transparent?

Try to use Cookies Home Tab! and Cookies Home Tab Editor.
Cookies Home Tab can be found here:

When you have installed this go to:
Menu--->Cookies Home Tab Editor--->Misscelaneous Settings---->Wallpaper mod and set it to HQ Wallpaper.
After do this tab Menu---->Set wallpaper--->choose a pic (the pics must be 480x800)
Same for the Top and Bottom bar.
Tab Menu--->Set Wallpaper--->Skin Taskbar and Softkeybar.
When you should have a different between the Bars and the background Pic you must do this.
If you want to disable the WM6.5.x specific wallpaper position, goto HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila and set Co0kie.WinMo6.5.x to 0 and restart sense.

Thanks. I have the latest version of CHT already and I know about the taskbar and softkey bar being transparent but what I was talking about was making the HTC Sense Slider Bar transparent (not the actual slider itself but the bar behind the slider).

I think it should make only the Slider Background transperent! But i will have a look in the files maybe i can say more than.

I think you can use it with your slider! I had a look on it and can only find background files! The best way is to test it.

Thank you Dic3ptor for the cab and it did the trick but....... you can't see the icons on the Elegancia Manbo V Slider now. Any ideas?

PLS add a screenshot! So that i can have a look on it. It s easier for me to change it when i see it!

Sorry for not posting a pic yet but the only hosting site I use is Facebook and I need to set one up for photobucket or something. Whats happening is that the actual slider that goes over the icons doesnt show the icon inside the slider/square box when you go over it. For an example, when you slide to the home screen and let go, you will see the house picture inside the little slider/selector box but on my screen the icon does not show inside the slider box

I tried the same cabs he has posted in another thread, and they didn't work.
Edit: I tried the "No Top Curtain" cab, and it didn't work. The link to that is in the thread where he says to find his other transparencies. The "super stealth slider skin" he has posted didn't work either.
Edit: Just realized I don't want the notification bar, I want the top curtain/status bar. Anyone know a cab for this?

Yes, these all work on CHT 2.o
The transparencies are still linked on the first page of the CHT thread for that reason.They have not needed to be updated or changed, as none of those graphics have been changed in the latest version of CHT.
The No Top Curtain, does work if you know what it is intended to do.
It removes the shaded operator bar, below the Taskbar. (not the taskbar)
Super stealth slider SKIN is only a skin for the retractable slider in CHT, so if you are not using the "Retractible slider" in CHT settings > misc,. then you will see no change.

With Cookie's Home Screen Setup you can choose between the notification bar or only the notification icons. Choose the last one. Menu - Homescreen Setup - Homescreen - Advanced - Show notifications - only icons - finish - finish. This works very good for 1.8.5.1. If it works for 2.0 I do not know for sure. As I already stated, I personally prefer 1.8.5.1 in combination with Artemis ROM.
