have you tried using another battery (same battery type )..?? maybe all of it due to a dead battery..!
The short flash of green light is linked to the SIM switch. If the SIM door is considered open, the device will not switch on. This usually happens after dis-assembly and incorrect re-assembly. Try to open/close the SIM door to solve the problem.

I have found with my experience that these issues are caused from the sdcard and how it is formatted and partitioned. You can backup your sdcard and reformat it and/or partition it if you want. reverendkjr has some good tutorials on youtube you can watch for help starting with this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvU1CptOe14&feature=related or go to his profile here and he has them listed I think
I agree, probably an sdcard issue. Do you have any partitions? Are they set up correctly, ie fat, then ext then swap? Try taking the card out and booting up. Does it work? If so, then would almost point directly to sdcard problem. Answer and try that and we'll go from there. Need more info.
I tried remove the sdcard then reboot but it still does not work

I do like the guide in the video "Tutorial - Installing Dexter's Froyo on Milestone XT720"

However, I missed the last step. I mean Wipe data/Reset Factory. Now, When I boot the phone, it's just appear a screen with android logo then black then that logo, that's all. I tried to reset it but I can't

Pull the battery and replace, turn on. As it turns on keep hold the power button with volume up til it boots to open recovery. When in O.R. restore all the rom again then do data wipe/reset

android.process.acroe stopped

Hi,
I have the HTC sensation XE, with this rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1671547
Version(of the rom) 1.3.5.
Today, just with regular use, the touch screen somehow just stopped working, after coming home and reading this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1239238
I pushed the silver pin up a little, and it worked for 5 mins, then the touch got stuck again.
After restarting I got a massage at my lock screen:
"Unfortunately, the process android.process.acore has stopped."
Even after more pushing of the silver pin and putting aluminum foil it still won't work.
The phone still works, the clock on the lock screen, I can change volume and get a vibration when putting to silent mode, able to receive calls, but the touch won't work, EVEN NOT IN RECOVERY!!!
Help me please..
I read on this through google. They say go to contacts clear data and cash, go to contact storage, clear data and cash. According to this google site, these two things will clear up the issue. I would make sure to somehow back up my contacts first. Hopefully this helps. If you google " Android. Process. Acore stopped" you will find this fix. Take a look in google. I really Hope this helps! Best wishes!

or you start all over again and flash the correct RUU for your device
Or I can use my mind, like this:
Download a CWM recovery NOT-TOUCH.
Place the SD card to other device and put the PG58IMG file into it.
Go to H-BOOT and install the new NON-TOUCH recovery.
Re-install the rom.
Doing this right now, I will update if I manged to do it.
First of all I cleared cache and davlik cache, no change
Then I tried to install the newest version(1.41) , but it didn't work for unknown reason :S
So I restored some old backup that I know was working, and still, this stupid message keeps blocking me from using thee phone
Now I have access to recovery, some suggestions to something I can try?
Thanks.
And something else I just thought about, if it was a problem with some cache problem, the found should work even without the SD card and the stupid cache files, so why does when my SD card is out of the phone, THIS MASSAGE STILL APPEAR?!?
Please help me, I'm tired of this c*ap and I need my phone tommorow :'(
The solution for your Problem!
Hello, i got the same prob a few months ago even on viper 1.3.1. ! so i what kind of issue you mean!
so here you go: first of all, between the pop-ups you are able to navigate through your phone... in my case the pop-up shows up every 2/3 seconds! so right after you click the ok button in the pop-up go > settings > apps > in top of the Navigationbar chose all apps!
then go to the contact apps, chose each of them and clear data and cache! after doing this the issues a gone and your phone is working normal! the reason for this pop-up is that your contact folder includes One or more damaged contacts and the System is trying to load the file again and again... i was trying hours to get my phone working again ( clear cache, dalvik, fix permissions and all that stuff) like you does... the only thing that helped me was setting up a new Rom and the instruction i write in top of the post! hope this will fix your phone/system!

[Q] AT&T bootloop or suddent reboot

Hi, i have been looking for answers on the forum, and i learn new things but not how to fix this or what is causing it.
I have buyed i997 from a reseller. He sayd it doesnt work because it have bootloop, but i thinks that is not too much problem getting it working again, so i started searching for the pc drivers n software, then i find here in the forum the stock rom with and without root, i tested them both with odin and the bootloop stills present. I wipe cache and do a factory reset but it keep bootlooping, then think maybe if i update to latest AT&T rom, but no luck.Sometimes the phone just start and theres no bootloop but its very rare and most of the time when i get to the lock screen or setup manager suddently a gapps or something crash and my phome freezes and reboot. I flashed the carbon-jb-v1.6 and suddently it worked fine, no more bootloop and everything smooth,no crashes etc.. then i installed Facebook app and when i was ttyping a message the phone froze up and then restarts, and the bootloop came again, and im stuck on it, and when i pass it, which is very rare, i start typing info in the startup manager and the phone freezes and reboot.. I wipe/format cache, dalvik, factory reset, formated system and data before and after flashing the carbon rom again and it keeps bootlooping. Somebody have similar problems or know how to fix it?
Thanks
P.d. sorry for my bad english.

Thanks man, but you think it can be the power button? When i unplug the battery and put it again the phone doesnt turn on or something, and when it boot up when i lock the screen with the power button it works fine. I set the cpu governor to conservative and since yesterday i didnt have any problem, but sometimes the phone reboots when typing, i think its someting with the processor or when the phone have little ram or something.
Thanks.

If you ran the phone on complete stock GB or FROYO and you are getting boot loops, it may be a hardware issue.
One of the few things that will give you boot loop with the samsung logo while using the phone is the power button.
Either way, it's no big deal to open it and clean it up to see if the problem goes away.

Bootlog Uptime will keep a record of all boots from an Android OS perspective ... It will also track crashes... It won't track events outside of a complete restart (i.e. power button bootloops.. But those are pretty obvious when they occur)
For hardware testing, try Z Device Test... That won't tell you about the buttons though... If your screen turns on without pressing power button or from any other standard event (like receiving a text or a phone call), or the phone restarts by itself, time to get cleaning..

I bricked or soft bricked my moto G PLEASE HELP

Okay so, Im a noob at all this and this was my first attempt at unlocking the bootloader.
I followed a website and I tried unlocking the bootloader.
I thought I did it right.
So when the phone restarted, it went to the "Android is optimising" screen
I wasnt there when it happened but when i returned, there were all these popups saying everything crashed (clock, settings, ANDROID)
So i tried shutting it down and hoped that when i restarted it, it would do the optimising again and work
So i restarted, but as soon as the Motorola start screen finished ( the spinning globe thing) the whole phone would crash and would be stuck on a blank black screen.
I can still access the Fastboot screen thing by pressing the Volume down and Power buttons.
Is there anything i can do to fix it?
Please make it detailed or very simple because again, I AM A NOOB D:

im sorry, do YOU know how to do it exactly???
and yea i made a backup of all my data (apps, phone stuff like contacts etc.)
Reboot into bootloader, pick recovery, at the picture, press volume up and power at the same time, then use the volume keys to navigate the menu and power key to select.
Note that the recovery is actually broken and the option you have highlighted isn't actually the one that it will select, so you'll have to experiment a little to get the wipe data one.
Did it but back at square ONE D:

Well, i did what you said, when the phone first restarted it got stuck at the globe part so i held power and restarted.
BUT it went to the android is optimising screen. Things were really looking up at that moment but to my luck, it showed the 'message' -.-
"Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped."
IM REALLY SAD D:
can you please help more?
thanks though because what you said worked just that a new problem came
EDIT: Okay so just after finishing the previous post ^ and going to bed ( cuz i live in NZ ) i kept doing your idea. after 2 or 3 tries IT WORKED DDD
So i tried making sure everything was working. I tried doing that "Motorola Protect Your Phone" thing that wont go from your notification screen unless you do it. But i couldnt because it said -
"The Phone radio is unable to connect to the network. Make sure the radio is on, or if it is on, move into an area with better coverage and try again."
So whats the radio?
I was assuming it was my thing which sends texts and calls but i could text just fine. Is it WiFi? because at the moment i dont have WiFi ;P
Im just getting a bit scared because i read somewhere ( idk where) that your phones radio could get ruined if you attempted to unlock the bootloader O:
Sorry for being so annoying
Thanks for helping me
PLEASE HELP AGAIN D:
