hi all!
i have problem with cyanogenmod (not only last version, I tried several last versions).
I have SAPPHIRE 32B and HTC RC-W100 handsfree.
With Google ION ROM it works just fine, but with cyanogenmod it doesn't react to button press.

I'm using HTC Branded Magic ( PVT32A board ). I like some ROM for PVT32B only. Can I use 32B ROM on 32A board ????

I'm still quite new in this forum and have only had my Magic for 2 weeks now. But for what I'm convinced - you cannot use a 32B ROM on your 32A device as out-of-the-box sollution.
I've seen on other treads, that some people have managed to fix and modify a ROM to use on a different device. So it should maybe be possible...

i tried to install MoDaCo 2.2 on my Sapphire 32A. This one works without Bluetooth. So i decided to try some other 32B Roms on my 32A device. For this i made a wipe, flashed a 32B Rom like Drizzy's Hero 1.4r1 32B or eViL HeRo v2.6 and as last step i flashed the Kernel Patch 32B to 32A from MoDaCo. All roms working fine but still no Bluetooth. So can someone help me please and make some other Kernel Patches to use also 32B Roms on my 32A. Tried also CyanogenMod Kernels (4.1.9.2, 4.1.8, 4.1.6) but this one only works with a Cyanogen Rom. Maybe this step can help also other 32A Users to test/use 32B Rom on their devices. Thanks for your help.

they say that bluetooth works with htc magic and sapphire because of the updated drivers so if we (HTC Dream guys) to flash a Magics or Sapphires version of the DREAM.nbh file wouldn't we also update our drivers?

I own an HTC Magic (Israeli version... guess it's EU), and I was wondering if I can install on it ROM's which are compatible with HTC myTouch 3G, without any doubts.
I don't really know anything about installing ROM's, and that's why I'm asking.
P.S:
by saying "ROM's which are compatible with HTC myTouch 3G" I mean something such as the one called "[ROM][32A] HTC Magic Fender Edition! MyTouch LE [01-25-2010]"

check if your magic is a 32A or 32B version. (hold Back+power - it boots into fastboot, the top line shows this version number)
If its 32A you can install 32A roms and if its 32B you can install 32B roms.

32A is HTC
32B is Google
Look at the PHONE it shall say HTC or GOOGLE
