I figured it would come out a as soon as I did unlock my phone for roms.
Hey, if my phone is unlocked with hardspl already. would I be able to dload that version and install it? Since technically it is a att tilt. Or does the rom need to be "cooked" in some way before I can install it? For one thing, I don't see a 1.65.16.10 radio listed on the radio page. Maybe it'll work better in the states?

If you try to download the 6.1 ROM you get the 6.0 ROM anyway.

Haven't seen anyone post an update.zip for this yet, but this is the radio img that comes with DMD64. I've used it on both 32B and G1 running latest Cyanogen.
This has been pulled from the official update DMD64 from Lucid REMs site. All I have done is pull the radio image from that.
Hope this helps.
This has been shown to work on several different versions of Dream/Magic 32B. However, please make sure you have an upgradeable radio version. ie. 2.22.19.26I
There have also been instances where the Market App will not connect data-wise. brentlacydotcom found the solution (completely I hope). Those with WebGuard might have to have it removed because it does not play nicely with the new radio. Go here for info about Webguard.

Instructions:
1. Put either file onto the root directory of your sdcard. [/sdcard]
2. Boot your phone into recovery mode. [Either Cyanogen or Ra's recovery works]
3. Apply "any .zip" update and point it to the file.
4. When prompted, reboot your phone.
5. Patiently wait (the flea circus will do their job within your phone)
6. It should put you back into recovery, from there, reboot and you should be good.

Just to clear things up. I don't advertise that this radio update will change your life, get you laid, or help you win the lottery. I have only posted this update because it is a new version of the radio. That's it. It came from a need (my wife was complaining of call quality issues) and I wanted to share it with the community. I would love to say this radio update will change your life...really I do. But to be honest, it is just a step up from the 26I firmware. I'm not even advertising that it's an improvement. I have seen results on mine and my wife's phones but that's it. Your experience can and will be different than mine. That is just the way hardware works. At the end of it all, if you are getting positive results from the update - awesome. If not - well, my apologies and hopefully when T-mo rolls out the actual official update, it might come with something different.

I found the MT3G 1.2 Sappimg... this can help us unroot our devices if we need to... Additionally I came across what I believe is a RUU for the fender... which I was able to grab the rom.zip file from the RUU
the RUU I believe is for the fender is RUU_Sapphire_T-Mobile_US_2.10.531.3_release_signed_NoDriver .. as you can see "2.10.531.3" the build number from the fender... and I believe this rom.zip can be used to unroot the fender...
NOW IM NOT RESPONSIBILE FOR YOUR ACTIONS, IF YOU BRICK YOU ISH ITS YOUR FAULT.. IM SIMPLY TRYING TO HELP OUT THOSE THAT NEEDED TO UNROOT.. SO WITH THAT BEING SAID **TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK**

I'm not gonna lie. I was tempted to return it because I was in hopes (call it being overly optimistic) that we could have a kick-ass rom for this.
Decent alternatives are of course the Nexus, MyTouch Slide (coming soon) and hopefully the HTC Incredible coming later. (maybe?)
This phone is going to be outdated before we can get a custom rom made for it!

It depends which phone you have. If you have the reg 1.2 then I can understand the regret. But, with the fender... Not only is there now a mile long waiting list for a phone thats out of production, but the many times a day I get "omg dude, us that the fender? U lucky bastard" makes up for it lol. Plus ive ben playing guitar 15 years now so I needed it lol. And the $20 difference for a 16gb sd was nice.
At work now, but as soon as I get home im gona tear this apart and see what's in it. You may have just stumbled across our missing drivers.

Strange enough the release dates are jan 20 (2 days before fender release) and April 9th Oh well, glad to know we are getting somewhere now
EDIT- Ok, so we got a confirmed test of unroot, which means all necessary files are there. What I guess we actually need for drivers is the source released. BUT... NOw we have more people to work on reversing just as we had with the 3d drivers for 2.1. So now we have the real base tools, and not a rooted dev version of the "stock" build, As the real stock does not have swype. So now we will have more people to play around. Im gona start reading up on cooking tonight And see what I can get done on my day off tomorrow. I learn quick lol, So Since we have found that 32b roms are the only ones that boot, m gona go through what I can mixing and matching.

Both of the SAPPIMG files for both devices work you might have to start out with a engineering spl like i did in order to get into hboot to restore

Somehow I doubt its a 1.2 with the 0007 SPL. Does it have a headphone jack? Its supposed to come with 0013
Hello. I just bought an S II LTE on Docomo. Am I right in assuming (I decided this in a fever dream of tiredness last night, so I don't know where I saw it) that ROMs designed for this ATT version of the phone will also work on the Docomo one? I know the buttons are different, but perhaps the ROMs take that into account?
If I'm in the wrong place, does anyone know which ROMs I should be using? There doesn't seem to be much talk at all of my version. Quite worrying; don't want to stay on GB!

Have no idea what Docomo is. but compare the specs, if frequencies and such are same then u can flash. isn;t the phone called 727?
U would probably need a SIM unlock.

It's called the SC-03D, it's mostly the same as the Skyrocket. Docomo is the network,
Since I posted this, I tried flashing a Skyrocket ROM on to it. Since the radio frequencies are different, I couldn't use mobile internet. (calls and wifi worked fine) - and because the buttons are different (the Japanese version has a physical home button, and touch buttons for "options" (whatever it's called) and back - whenever I pressed back, it acted as if I were pressing home.
I assume (as someone who knows nothing about these things) that the button thing would relatively easy to fix in a slightly modded ROM. They're the same buttons as the first Galaxy.
Now, the real question: How easy would it be for a modder to set the frequencies? Is it just a question of changing a text file? So then: Can I help? Is there any diagnostic app I could run on my phone to get the info required in order to make this ROM happen? I'm hoping someone could slightly modify the most recent AOKP and re-pack it as a Docomo variant, with not too much time or effort on their part. If there's anything I could do (as someone who lives in Japan and has this variant of the phone), then obviously I would help as much as possible.
Does this sound to anyone like something that could actually happen?

The Skyrocket is the closest phone to mine that actually has a section on XDA. Mine is a Galaxy S2 LTE (only with different radio frequencies and different buttons on the front; everything else is the same - Skyrocket ROMs work on my phone, apart from the bits I've already mentioned), not a standard Galaxy S2.

I mentioned in an earlier post that I flashed a ROM: It's safe to assume that I know how to flash a zip file in CWM. And I wasn't rude in my response, so what's the issue?
Do you think I haven't searched for the files myself? Why do you think I'm here? I'm asking here in case people more knowledgeable than myself have come across the same or similar situations, since this phone is the most similar to mine. To be told to "google it" is hardly useful, is it? That was obviously the first thing I tried.

Ok so how do you assume anyone here can invent a ROM for you ? If you googled and found nothing, it means really nothing...your device isn't popular here so no files for it (at last in the xda)...

That's why I asked if there's a way to extract the radio and kernel from my current stock ROM.
If you can get the partitions description table for you device you can make an img for both radio and boot...
But that's not guaranteed to work however...
Number 2 if you delete radio and boot images from a stock skyrocket ROM zip you will only be flashing the system...just delete modem.img , amss.img and boot.img (never forget also to delete the recovery.img) ... This way the zip flash can't find the radio and kernel to flash them with the ROM..But I can't guarantee you'll not end up with a brick or if you're lucky with a boot loop !

from the htc official page, so i run the file and started to update, and when it finish my phono dont start up.
so i put in the the charger all night and nothing NO LED, NO SCREEN NO NOTHING, IS LIKE DEAD. but when i plug it to the PC, the PC makes the sound like when you conected the phone, but nothing happens.
please help

Sounds like you were S-ON Rooted one X. You're phone is now a brick. You can try the WIP evita unbrick thread but chances are less than slim that you will be able to recover.
You can try warranty with your carrier, they're usually pretty lenient towards this sort of thing or you can get JTAG for ~$100
If you were not rooted, since you have an AT&T phone outside of the US, you may be screwed, you can try to contact HTC.

so this WIP evita is a software ? my phone was not rooted because i new i this and i dont know how to do it, and yes im out USA. do you think im screwed ?

The RUU has bricked some stock phones for reasons unknown. You should be able to get a warrant replacement because it was HTC's software that screwed it up.

Yeah, I've seen this too, that's why I added that last bit at the end of my post.
Because he's not in the USA\Canada, though, I don't think they will honor warranty. I could be wrong, no harm in contacting them!

thanks to all for the answers, do yo have any idea how can i contact HTC PEOPLE ? or can i do something to unbrick my phone, like flashing with a box ? or something .. should i try the unbrick evita with ubuntu ?

They Should have a contact us link on their webpage.
No way to unbrick for you unfortunately, sorry friend.

I believe that is the case. But as you said, it doesn't hurt to ask.
Finding a repair shop that can JTAG the phone might be the best bet. It sucks to have to pay to fix something that should be covered under warranty. But that is the risk you take when buying something with (probably) no warranty.
You can try the JET tool or unbricking thread. But as far as I know, nobody has reported coming back from a brick after the 3.18 RUU or OTA.

i called htc and they told me to send the phone to USA and it would take a month, apparently still under warranty, but I also found a video shown as JTAG repaired with my same model, but this way i will lose the warranty , so i dont know what to do.
HTC perhaps charge me something or I have to pay anything?

The term "apparently still under warranty" would be the main question. Did they say it was under warranty or not?
If its still under warranty, they shouldn't charge you anything. Your phone is stock, and you were just doing an RUU update that you got from their website. It should be their responsibility to repair/replace the device.
They would have told you if they were going to charge you. My only concern was the fact that you're out of country. I'm sure it'll work out
