I want to use bluetooth manager program like blue angle or hp. It is possible to install it?

Note, it should be installable anywhere. But you have to launch it twice to load it. And it only closes properly with a task killer.

Hello!
How this BT Manager works?
I'm using BlueSoleil BT Stack, and it works good, but sometimes it is not stable, and there are things that I cannot understand in it. And that is less graphical than yours.
So? Is it a stack for beginners with fancy graphics, or for intermediates with better graphics than Bluesoleil?

Vijay? Is that your application, or is that the Bluetooth Manager ripped off of a Eten or Dopod ROM? Hell, if it's your application, I would sue Eten for using it (unless they buy from you?)

moghisi101: as it says in the bit of text you quoted, it's nothing to do with me, it's ripped from the Eten rom. Someone needed a bluetooth manager so I posted it up. But Eten can pay me if they want to, but I guess they'll sue me first!

Is it real to make them work? Or we have only FTP?

i'v installed the manager here and its nice and all but it still a crappy one
if anyone got a bt manager the does :
1. you can see which bt device you are connected 2 and can connect/unconnect.
2. you can unpair/pair device
3. you can actually explore the divice files (like i can do with the samsung z300 i got)
it will be very helfull indeed

I am still very poor as far as modifications on my XDA mini are concerned... I tried the bluetooth stack in the other thread, with no success (I know now that my german ROM is too old, I own ROM 1.12.01GER with Radio 1.12.00).
O2 Germany does not offer update to this version.
All I would like to do is listen to my music on a bluetooth stereo headset, which isn't working without a modification of my bluetooth components...
Can your bluetooth manager help me ? Does it deliver A2DP to my XDA mini ?

Windows Mobile 2003 SE is based on WinCE 4.2, so go for that one.
No risk with it, but as it's a relatively big program, I'd recommend taking a quick backup before installing, just in case.
However, it can be deleted ok. It's an interesting app, it enables stereo bluetooth... however, I think it still needs to be hacked. But try it, and let us know if it works on your set.

I just installed the WinCE 4.2 File, and the programm runs stable, as well as the rest of my XDAmini...
So now, I will have to buy a bluetooth stereo headset....
But which one ? Do I have to watch out for something special (specifications, manufacturer etc.) ? I would appreciate also taking telephone calls with this headset, but this is not a must...

look at the calender, there is a word show "tomorrow" (if the event is tomorrow) ... but mine, do not have that today or tomorrow word .. .. how to setup it? .. .. it is small matter but i need it .. ..

tomtom software should come with the device. happy with it. also tried destinator and pocket navigator. all work fine. depends which one u like better and which country u intend to use it in.

For the UK uiy can use every soft. Just take the one that offers the best interface. Maps are (almost) the same. The big difference in in Eastern Europe (especially Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia and Greece) where it's iGo or nothing

People always forget about my little country... but still, iGo or nothing, fpr us that is... for the UK even google maps should suffice.

Hi,
I used the pocket navigator with the map for Cyprus, and Destinator for Greece. I only used tomtom for the UK. sorry

i have problem with my wifi .. i tried to connect to wlan and the status shows connected .. but i couldnt manage to surf over the internet .. what should i do ha? is there any setting, etc? .. i tried with IE and opera and both didnt work .

Mine kept saying it was connected but would not be able to access web pages randomly. I kept having to tap the wifi icon and go to the setup menu, then it would work again for a little while then stop again.
I had to adjust the powersaving options of the wifi to "optimal performance" instead of "battery saving" mode.
That fixed it.

how to disable word completion? i already did it in setting -> personal tab -> input -> word completion ... untick everything but still got that feature when typing msg.. ..

Could you somehow make the HTC Home plugin (http://www.smartphone-freeware.com/download-htc-home-plugin-smartphone.html) available for mpx200? It needs to be changed to 176X220 i think.

i tried it several times now and it looks like it doesn't work at least for me. It always stucks after I flashed the two files and made the HR in the blank screen and nothing happens (even after waiting more than 20 minutes!)

I've tried this rom to my MPx200, and I found that this is the most stable WM6 rom for MPx.
Other roms have problems on the Pocket Outlook, and they need third party software to send SMS. This one doesn't need it. Altough I can't send SMS directly by pressing the left soft ke (send), I can use the option 'send' from the right soft key..
a better one...

great rom.but i have a problem with the compact framework that i already had with wm5 proffessional rom.impossible to run nscontactbackup.the program will ask for a newer version of the framework.tryed to install the 2.0 one but it failed asking me to uninstall first the previous version.since this is automatically installed with the rom i dont know what to do.do anyone have an idea?

Is this correct? You guys managed to port WM6 to one of the FIRST WM Smartphones out there? I'm curious, how old a MPx200 device would be old now? Like 4 years or so? I'm wondering that the hardware is still working, this is quite a long lifetime for such a device. Sorry for offtop, but I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the title of this thread.

These are resources only.
To use these files You will need to cook a ROM wit these files.
But as far as I can see Typhoon does not have any WM6.5 ROM's at all.

The file WM6.5_SP_23017_DPI_96_RESH_176_RESV_220 is pretty much broken, it lacks many of the resources - and especially when it comes to Bronze and CHome. Unfortunately, it doesn't want to work with those from 131dpi.
So... is there any chance you have some other source of these? It could be from some other build...

I know that DPI96 are missing some resources, but that's all I can get. Resolusion 176x220 is not really used anymore in new phones, but these resources may come with final WM6.5 Smartphone build.
CHome folders are DPI independent. As to Bronze folders You may try Bronze_DPI_96 from WM6.1 builds and You will need Sliding Panel CPR files they should be in WM6.1 also.

These are resources for Smartphone devices - without touchscreen.
As for my builds for iPAQ - there is no difference between 23016 / 23017.
Now I'm working with 2303x builds, but they are not so good for releasing yet. Some buttons are to big and does not fit the screen and some things look really bad.
And XDA is full of software - just search and take what You find useful for Your needs.

Can anyone tell me what the differences between EA and NonEA are? Like CommonEA and CommonNonEA? Is it EAstern? Or East Asia? Maybe font differences?

EA - for east asian countries.
NonEA - for others.
only difference is in used font. EA - uses "Nina", while NonEA uses "Segoe Condensed".

Has any one got tom tom 7 working on their HD2?
I have version 6 & 7 (both legal) + the black cab but can't register my maps on versions 6 or the black cab because of previous installations. Is there a way around this

I've TTM7 working on my Leo. It was already working on my TP2. I've put microSD card from TP2 to Leo, and directly makes a shortcut of tomtom.exe in my Leo's start menu.
Try to make a file transfer from a working installation to your Leo's microSD.

i had tom tom 7 on my hd2 but it made my device run very slugish and also had an error every time the phone was turned on. i reset my hd2 tried installing again but exactly the same happend. tt7 did load up tho and after changing the gps to com 4 it worked fine just didnt want a phone that was slower than my last one.

I have got TomTom_Navigator_7.916.9189_VGA working with v840 maps.
Works very good on HD2.

I bought tomtom 7 when i had my diamond.... since then tomtom has been a pain as i have had to fax them proof of new mobiles only tofind that they do not support the new phone.
I have had to hack my maps which i paid for in order to get them to work...
i am going to give tomtom the goodbye for now(it works fine on my HD2) and use the co-pilot 8.. best £24,99 spent and easy to unlock to a new phone... TomTom take heed.

Still tt don's support navigator 7 on the Leo but there is an workaround for it so tt kost me nothing more than what time too download the new maps

TomTom doesn't suck. You just need to search for the solution. It's all over this board and if you can't find it then you are not looking very hard. It has to do with the Bluetooth stuff it replaces. You just need to delete one or two files and reboot. Now do your homework and use the search.

Tomtom works fine....besides the BT issue, Can I assume people with problems may be installing to the device and not the SD card ?
