I have read the Raphael pdf that details how to disassemble the Touch Pro, including various other sites and how-to's.
They all basically outline the following procedure for starters:

However, when trying to dismantle / disassemble mine, I can't because the black internal plastic frame that goes around the entire phone appears to be glued to the side of the phone's housing.
I can only remove the top portion that isn't attached to anything else (the only part that appears exposed).
The rest of the black plastic frame (some points of reference circled in red), I can't seem to even make it budge at all, not even in the least bit.
Did Sprint tamper-proof the latest Touch Pro's or something?
Same issue
I'm having the same exact issue as you. I'm trying to dismantle my Sprint HTC Touch Pro so that I can access the mini usb connections. My phone's currently not charging via the mini usb connection and I want to see if any of the internal contacts may be a problem.
Anyhow, I'm stuck at the same spot that you are. The manual for the "HTC Raphael_SM_A10 _GENERIC__01 Dec 08" seems to be referencing the GSM model. Anyone else have this same issue?

Hi, I'm new here. I have a Dopod 838pro, it's new, only 1 month but something strange happened. I was using the pen today but when I was putting it back, I could not put the pen back as before. I don't hear any click and the pen now can be removed easily (the pen now enter and then come back a little). Later I saw a piece of plastic broken, but I'm not sure if it's from the Dopod
Is there a way to fix it? May be this piece of plastic broken a part of the support? It happened with anybody here? Sorry for all the questions. But I'm still not believing that the support has broken. I have many friends with other Dopods for a long time and never seen this happen. I am always careful with my things.
Here are 2 pictures of the plastic, if anyone can say if is it from the pda I would be grateful.
Thanks.

You may walso want to repost your q to the Hermes forum.
Thanks!! I'll look in there.
Have a look at K-Jam servise manual here since they are quite the same model.
Hope it helps !!!
Problem solved looking michael's blog.
The rubber was in wrong place
I found out that a way to prevent this is to put the stylus in the right position. Not turning the stylus after putting it.
Hey guys
I picked up a XDA IIs cheaply with a cracked screen from droppage, hoping I might be able to replace the screen with my PDA2k EVDO's (I live in Australia where the CDMA network no longer works)..
Would this be feasable? According to http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=pdacomparer There pretty much the same bar GSM functionality and wireless (Which makes the device pretty much useless otherwise).. from what I understand, two identical phones from the same line can have completely different proprietary screens as is the case with some laptops; But I'm unsure of how many competitors and movement would be in the 3.2" TFT market.
I'll let you know of my results when I get around to it.. I'm crossing my fingers I'll get a smart phone with wifi and bluetooth, it would surely crap all over my current 3315

If the LCD screen of Harried looks like this, then maybe you can use it with your BA

My BA's LCD was badly damage before so I have to replace it. I went to a mall and they sold me a new LCD screen of MDA III which is blueangel also.
I had a Sensation with a broken LCD but working digitizer. So I bought a new LCD and followed some Youtube movies to replace that LCD. Before you can replace the LCD, you must disarm the digitizer also. It looks everything went fine and I was very happy that the screens goes on and digitizer works.
The problem started when I wanted to use the more. The touchscreen had very strange responses. Some of the parts of the screen(for example in keyboard part) are difficult to touch a specific letter. The borders of the left looks not / very resposive, keyboard tooks the first letter next to him. A few letters are to responsive, when I tick them, i get a few letters of them a a few around that letter.
I've tried the things in this topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1239238
Anyone any suggestion? Does this look as a failing digitizer that most be replaced also? Must I calibrate the digitizer?
Other thing what's may be part of the problem. After assembling the phone, I keep the problem that on the left side of the screen, the screen not totale fall into the casing. On the right side the screen fall exactly into the case. On the left an above side the screen hangs 1 of 2 mm above the casing. When I press on that side, the screen goes into the casing, but comes above after releasing.

Nobody that can help me?
I was wondering if anyone knows the surface mount part number for the power button on the TF101. My kids not only broke the plastic but also knocked off the surface mount switch.
I've downloaded volume on/off apps but sometimes you need a real power button when flashing and what not.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Have a look through these parts, you might find it here
http://www.asusparts.eu/en/partfinder/Asus/Pad/Eee pad/TF101
I saw that on another thread but they replace the entire unit i think. I'm sure there has to be a digikey equivalent or something for just the switch right?
I mean I can short the two pins and it powers on/off so i'm sure the the module is fine. I just need the switch.
That site is just a parts site, they just send you out whatever you ask for, I just linked to it because they list the part number on the items
It's just a micro switch really, you could probably find one on ebay, it's only job is to press to connect and release to disconnect, any micro switch that you can find to fit should work
Few here

EDIT - Something like the smallest here

And this is the new replacement screen
So finally my phone fell down and cracked the screen. Figured I should go and replace it straight away.
Mi Mix 3 isn't officially available in my country (Malaysia), so have to go with aftermarket "original" parts as claimed by the repairer.
Replaced, and it worked...... for less than a day. the screen turned black soon after.
But strange thing is, if I hold the power button and reboot the phone, the MI logo came up, indicating the screen works - but not in MIUI. Fastboot screen, recovery are working.
What can I do? Should I flash it from China ROM to Global and mayyyyybe it will work? Ugh so annoying
Check for loose or damaged connectors.
Are the battery and its connection good?
Try reflashing to same firmware version.
It's possible the mobo was damaged by the impact or G loading it experienced. BGA chipsets are intolerant of board flexing and a high impact can fracture solder joints including the hidden BGA ones.
