Hi,
I installed this on my Trinity and I just can't uninstall it. It does not appear on the "Remove Program" list. How can I uninstall it?

Install it again. You'll be told the previous version will be replaced by the new installation. Tap yes, install to main memory or storage card. The software should appear in the remove programs list now. Uninstall from remove programs.
I tried it still does not appear on Remove Program list. Just can't get rid of it!!! Any ideas?
I had downloaded and installed smsNotifier via a cab file... but Now even when I uninstalled the software, it keeps coming up after every reset/backup..
How can such softwares be permanantly removed..
"This application Gmail (processcom.google.android.gm) has stopped working unexpectidly. Please try again"
What do?
Samsung Exhibit II
Rooted, stock ROM but removed a bunch of crap with root uninstaller.
Try clearing the cache and data for the GMail app and/or fixing permissions in recovery.
Cache is empty, tried to uninstall all updates and reinstall.
Should I boot up root uninstaller and uninstall the entire thing?
EDIT: Tried to uninstall with root, said it would only uninstall updates so I did nothing.
Then superuser downloaded some binary update, I restarted the phone. Gmail now shows a generic android icon that has a SD card. Downloaded gmail again from app store and it still doesnt work, and the SD icon one works the same.
I don't know what the hell is going on anymore.
I'm trying to install an old version of Facebook but it keeps failing. I'm rooted and I disabled Facebook stub and the 2 other Facebook processes with titanium but Everytime I try to install any older version i get an error saying app not installed.
Any ideas or suggestions?
OK to delete. Figured it out. Required using root explorer and deleting all Facebook related stuff in multiple locations in the system folder then rebooting and installing.
Samsung A8, Android 7.1.1
I was following uninstalling via adb shell some of the unwanted apps on this phone, and i mistakenly removed the wrong onewith this:
pm uninstall --user 0 com.samsung.android.providers.contacts
I have all my contacts in cloud, but now the sync does not work, and when i use the contacts app (which i updated) to add a new contact it says
"no app was found to handle this action"
I have tried downloading the apk available elsewhere, but it does not work.
tried reinstalling the contacts app from playstore, same things
Any suggestions are welcome to fix this without a phone reset.
Thanks.

I doubt you can actually fix it without factory reset. Last thing you can try is to download the apk again and install it with
Code:
pm install --user 0 [B]apklocation[/B]
If it doesn't works, proceed with a Factory Reset. Please don't mess again with thing you don't know
