The new, 1.5 version of Java-based Web browser BOLT has just been released.
Opera Mini forum user / Serola has published an extensive, great comparison between it, Opera Mini 4.2 and UCWEB 6.3 HERE.
I’ll also give it a more thorough ride (and compare it to the alternatives) as soon as a new, much more stable version of Opera Mini 5 beta is released. In the meantime, if you have further questions or need more information on how BOLT should be installed, check out my latest, dedicated article, which also sports a huge comparison chart of BOLT 0.94, Teashark beta 0.9 build 419, UCWEB 6.3 and Opera Mini 4.2.

ACCESS Co., developer of alternate Pocket PC Web browser NetFront, has just (they have already releaseed the final, Japanese version about three weeks ago) released the English version of the latest, 3.3 version.
The browser costs $29.80; if you have purchased version 3.2, you're entitled to a rebate. Then, you only end up having to pay $14.80. (Note that the shopping page of NetFront 3.3 refers to the 3.1-to-3.2 upgrade discount - it still hasn't been updated for the 3.2-to-3.3 upgrade discount). It's available here.
I, based on the Japanese version, have already published several bug reports and mini-reviews of the new browser (as the English version is not different from the Japanese one, there's no point in not checking out the reviews of the latter), all accessible in the Web Browsers category of the Smartphone & Pocket PC magazine Expert Blogs. Of them, I recommend this mini-review, this comparison to Opera Mobile, this and this bug reports. To shortly and succintly summarize these articles, I do recommend NetFront - but in no way as much as Opera Mobile, the, right now, best Pocket PC Web browser. I, particularly, do not recommend NetFront if you have a WM2003SE device, where the driver memory bug of NetFront makes the entire system really unstable.
I saw several threads that discussed the x7510 with Opera but none that examined the version of Opera installed in the x7510 as delivered vs. updates released since the x7510 started shipping.
I tried Opera 9.51 beta and liked its features but I felt like the display was fuzzier than the 9.5 version in my x7510 -- the 9.51 beta was a bit faster though and offers widgets which I didn't really checkout but do extend Opera's capabilities.
Anyone have any suggestions from their experience with newer versions of Opera?
And how do you either overwrite or remove the installed Opera?
Thanks!
Hey all
I'm still running Opera 9.5 build 2392 on my polaris and I wondering if I should upgrade to a higher build? If yes, could anybody recommend a good stable, fast build? Thanks again

FYI: Opera 9.7 beta - Turbo DISabled!
Hey Guys,
I have ben using Tomal's V12 64mb for ages and am thinking of changing the browers to Opera, Although afert looing on teh opera website i found that there are two browers that can run on Uni:
Opera Mini
Opera Mobile
i would like some help to fiind out which of the is better!
I prefer Opera mobile over mini.
This is the version I have found more stable: Opera Browser 9.70.35627.0
Check my sig opera official thread and you´ll find all you need
Thanks
will try and report back
Yes, Opera Mobile is a bit better because it can handle Flash, and JS with a better way than Mini one. Same as orb3000 said Opera 9.7 is bettter I think because Mobile doesn't load websites for me or when downloading timer is there(ew. on rapidsaher free) it can load it. Mobile 10 missing that timer and Mini has it but it's not working. Btw. Opera Turbo is bit bugged because you must turn it off before saving images or downloading files. And best of all it works fine on 64mb RAM Uni (without upgrade). Good choice is Skyfire too. You can check it at www.skyfire.com and I really recommend it with a new version of 1.5.
