SD-card method.. See Wiki for details.

Just put the phone in bootloader mode first by holding the VOLDOWN + RESET button at the bottom. Hold VOLDOWN until you see the Red/Blue/Green screen. Now plug the phone in via USB.
The phone should change from "Serial" to "USB". Now just flash your phone as normal.
I always put my phone in bootloader mode first before flashing. Makes it simplier then having to sync with the PC first.

S100 - Problem

Hi guys. I have such a problem - when i press reset my S100 gos to bootloader mode. After I take the battery off and then put it in i see the windows setup screen, then when programs from the ExtROM are setup and the device reboots it go to Bootloader mode again. what i have to do?
just push soft reset without power button while before extended rom begin loading......... advice from Moscow
When pressing reset device goes to bootloader mode
It shouldn't go to bootloader. The documented procedure is that after aligning the screen etc, click ok, and then reset the PDA as normal before it finishes booting up, by poking your stick in it's hole. Don't press any of it's buttons. Just the hole.

Maybe you have a halfway finished ROM upload on your Magician? Try running a full ROM install, that should fix it.

But it does go to bootloader. In any way if i press reset button (that is in the hole) it goes to bootloader.

What do you mean full ROM?
I tried to flash it just as usual, but when it goes to bootloader mode windows cant recognize the device so the flasher tells "connection error".

Thanks.

Well, no, i don´t have an sd card available now... one thing i forgot to say is the phone, after it is on that screen, never turns off again unless you remove the battery... and yes, i have left it on for a day, same thing...
What is the procedure to do the sd card flash thing? it that needs to get to the tree-color screen forget it... that´s exactly what the phone doesn´t do...
Thanks.
Sergio.
Hello Sir, to flash using SD card, you can read it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=448008 see number 5.

I had the same problem. None of the hard resets worked on my phone. The screen would be stuck on my lock screen and unresponsive. It would not shut off unless the battery was taken out.
Now it's working fine, all I had to do was press the reset button and enter in the code a1b2c3.
Hope this helps.

Hello,
Ok, well, the main problem here is that i can´t get into bootloader... the phone is stuck at the fist "Touch pro" screen and nothing else happens...
Anyone with a clue on this? is this phone bricked then...
you sure youre puttin it into bootloader correctly? these things are pretty hard to brick, and can be put through hell and back and still be able to put into bootloader. make sure the hold VOLUME DOWN + POWER, and at the same time RESET WITH THE STYLUS IN THE BOTTOM...youll want to HOLD ALL THREE untill you see the tri colour bootloader screen. keep trying mate, it should go
Finally got bootloader...

Finally, after several tries it got into bootloader... now the thing doesn't end here because for some reason when i try to upload the Raphael Hard_SPL the phone goes ok to 0% and in about a minute a communication error appears and that's it...
We are moving forward... at least.
Bootloader Info.
Tried to flash via microSD but the phone says not allow..i guess that's because the hard SPL is not installed and it has the stock... here's what the bootloader shows, i'm not being able to install olinex hardSPL...

ideas?

so... i guess there´s no way to get this back into business... when trying to flash always reports communication error at 0%...
You HAVE to flash hard spl off of a pc-it won't work flashing off an sd card (ever, no matter what you try), and I've heard you can run into problems (brick-type ones) trying to flash it off an sd card. It requires a special ruu to run. This is why it's packaged with the ruu, and you're told to only use that ruu for flashing hard spl.
I'm not sure why you're pressing power when trying to go into bootloader. All you need to do is press and -get this- HOLD DOWN volume down and then soft reset with your stylus. You can even press and hold volume down and do a software soft reset. I've used voice command to activate a soft reset shortcut in my start menu, and having vol down pressed sends you right into bootloader. Release volume down only when the tricolor screen appears. You don't need to hold down the reset button with the stylus. Just tap it and you're done.

here, i found this as im not well versed in raph100s. its a chart with raph100 roms. im sure some must be shipped stock roms and may be worth a try. sorry i couldnt help more, like i said hopefully someone who knows your device better may be able to help

Download the official rom, right click on the exe and extract it somewhere, you'll get several files, rename RUU_signed.nbh to raphimg.nbh, move it to the root of your sd card and you should be able to install it. It should contain splash screen, radio and os.
No way to flash HardSPL...
Hello, thank you for your help! in fact the volume down+reset works perfect to get into bootloader but every time i try to flash hardSPL or stock rom via USB it says "communication error" and the phone displays a 0% bar...
Windows7 is detecting it as HTC USB Sync.
Thanks..

[HELP] Cannot enter bootloader!!

Hello
I had HTC Diamond before and now i bought HTC Touch Pro.
It has original O2 rom and I am trying to flash a new one. But I cannot enter bootloader. I did Hard-SPL but since i cannot enter bootloader I cannot check if it was succesful or not. I tried all the button combinations (like vol down + enter + reset etc...) but it was unsuccesfull. And i even tried to copy EnterBootloader.exe to the phone and run it. But the screen just goes black and thats all. And when I was trying to do HARD-SPL the screen also went only black. I never seen the three color screen. Please help me!
Thanks
Moved as not ROM Development.
Well, you're probably doing it wrong. Hold volume down, then soft reset. Keep holding vol down until the tricolor screen appears. Don't hold the reset button down; just push it and release it.
Im doing it right. Im sure
so u re trying to flash via card or not, if you're trying to flash via PC dont forget to connect with active sync before, if you are trying to connect with SD card dont forget to do a clean format of it before
I remembered that I actually had the issue once (no idea why, it only happened on one rom about a year ago). Try doing a hard reset, then go into bootloader (instead of pushing vol up and re-booting). If that doesn't work, then start the boot process, and when it hits the alignment screen, try to go into bootloader.

What was your battery status before this happened? if it was really low that could be the issue.

will your computer detect your phone at all? maybe you can root it then flash a ROM and keep all of your stuff.
1. How could you do a factory reset if the phone wont start up?
2. Can you get it into bootloader mode by holding VolDown?
3. If so, can you enter recovery? (Reason for asking: on custom recoveries like Clockworkmod and I assume TWRP you can use adb from a computer, if this works in stock recovery it should be easy to pull any file from the sdcard partition)
4. Tried holding powerbutton for 10 or 30 seconds ( I forget...) to force reboot?
5. A battery pull might work, search youtube for "directfix htc one s" and youll find a video how to disconnect battery)
You can factory reset through HBOOT menu, if he can get into it.

1. From the bootloader menu.
2. Yes i can get into the bootloadermenu by holding the volume and powerbutton.
3. Can also enter recovery, in the same bootloader screen, but when i open recovery, i get the green icon with the two arrows arround, but after a while it pops up a red triangle, and after this the phone starts to boot again, with no sucess.
4. Tryed this with no sucess, reboot, but will not turn on.
5. Battery pull will not work on this htc.
I dont care if the phone dont turn on, i can send it to the repair shop, but i would very much like to get the pics out of it before set it to factorysettings, or i send itin for rep.
I have seen programs that can get back deleted pics from a hard drives or memory cards, do you guys think this will work if the phone turns on after i do a factory reset
Took a factory reset today, and downloaded a program to my pc to recover lost data from the phone, but it did not find anything But the phone looks ok now

Razer Phone stuck on splash screen

Hey, i have a really big problem. My Friend has a Razer Phone 1 and had magisk install on it. He did not want it anymore so he could use his online banking app. He opend the magisk app and clicked deinstall. Than it booted to TWRP and he restarted it. It was still booting to TWRP. So he startet the bootloader and did a factory reset. But now it's not doing anything. It just sits there in there on the splash screen. It's not saying anything about it that it has a unlocked bootloader. He did not lock the bootloader. I have downloaded the newest version from razer but i cannot use it because i cant go to the bootloader anymore. I tried to restart it but with no luck. Has anybody an idea on what can i try? He realy needs his phone.
Thanks.
Just ruling out some fundamental issues, did you plug in a USB cable to connect your Razer Phone to your computer (if you did, try another USB cable and/or another computer/even connect to another phone), Power Off the Phone, then turn it on and immediately press and hold the Volume Down button for Download Mode (or hold the Volume Up button for Recovery Mode).
EDIT: btw, opposite from what your friend did, I have Magisk installed so I can use banking apps. not sure why he wants to remove it.

Hold down Vol Down and Power until you can manage your way back into Fastboot/Bootloader mode and reflash everything from the system images provided by Razer.
At some point you should be able to interrupt the bootloop to be able to get the Vol Down button being held down recognized that the phone should go to Fastboot.
