My HTC TOUCH PRO was originally in Swedish, I flashed Elite RC4 ROM on it and now it is in english, great ROM by the way.
But The problem is I need to change the keyboard layout. I tried the method on wiki with regedit on the ROM but it is still english layout. It is really so hard to use it like this. Non of the symbols are where they are supposed to be. Any ideas why this method didn't work? Is there any other method to use?

Hi, im quite new to this coustom rooms and stuff, so i wondered, is it possible for me to change the hardwar keyboard to norwegian layout? because when i installed the Raphael Elite Project - RC2 the hardware keyboard changed to english layout=\
thanks for helpful answers=)
yes, you just need to load the IME from your original rom. link me to the original rom (find it on the wiki/search or ask if you can't find it) and i'll make a .cab of the IME package for you.
hi, i have same problem, after elite rc2 installation:
- the hardware keyboard changed to xxxxxx layout.
- i want to install Russian + English.
My response to you would be the same
Hi,
I just flashed the new Smartphone France 1.8 ROM and it works great.
While using the Rogers ROM I got used to the nice touch input keyboard.
I tried to install this on the SF ROM but it only shows the English QWERTY layout. Does anyone have a multilingual version of HTC_IME that he could give me?
It worked fine in the Rogers ROM...
Thanks!
Hello, I have a UK bought ChaCha which I am using in Greece.
With MoreLocale2 I have Greek menus however I can't seem to find how to input text in Greek.
Is there a special hardware keyboard combo that switches between English (default language) and Greek?
Thanks in advance!
Fn+space? not sure is that what u want...
silencer51 have you rooted your phone? Or do you use the custom rom? Because i flashed a custom rom and although i see the menus in greek i can not wright in greek! And there is no way to switch between the 2 languages. So, if you managed to find the solution, pls share it with us.
morelocale 2 only for system langauge not write langauge.
So there is no way we can write in a different language apart from English?
Hi
I installed a custom ROM, this one.
[ROM]GT-N8000 DR.AKRIM_ROM N8000DDALI1_v0.31 4.1.1 12-9-2012
I really like it, but then I found out that in Samsung Keyboard, it doesn't have an option to use Thai as an input language.
so my question is,
Is that a way that I can add the Thai language to Samsung Keyboard without having to flash a new rom?
Thanks so much!

Don't know about adding it to the Samsung Keyboard, but it appears that Hackers Keyboard (sorry not allowed to post the link to Google Play yet) provides for using Thai language.
I tried other keyboard and yeah it can use Thai language,
I just getting attached to the Samsung's one while typing in English so it's more convenient to keep both language on the same keyboard.
But I'll just try another keyboard to see if I'll like it more on both language.
Thanks though!
