Hello,
I have been listening audio books on my wizard for the past 2-3 years and since 4-5 days a problem has occurred.
When I play music the sound through the headphones is fabulous but as I start playing any audio books (most the same bit rate as music files) the sound is hardly audible.
Can someone suggest a solution to this problem please?

Hello. Yesterday I was listening to very dynamic music (classical) and I noticed that very low level moments in the music were not played back. I tried all - Manila3d player, mediaplayer, tcpmp and the great newcomer Nitrogen. They all cut out the silent moments in a manner like they would have been considered as background noise. I was using HTC original audio dongle with earphones. Is there a regchange or something to change the lowest level played back/audio gate threshold?

- hows the sense music player?
- battery drain?
- audio quality with headphones?
also, i read on some threads about getting a call while listening to music. (with the original desire)
(when you're listening to music and unplug headphones to receive call, the music starts playing again through loudspeakers after call has ended)
does this problem still exist?

im not sure about the answers for your other questions
but the audio quality with headphones is quite good & without headphones it is somewhat average

It is a decent player with equalizer (for Headphones only) and several presets, but no custom possibilities I am aware of...
I am not sure about the battery drain (I have no comparison), but I don't think it will be worse than 3rd party players (I run my DS for an average of 3 days with around 1 - 2 hours of music/day) But I play around with the phone quite a bit as I only have it few days

Nope, this has been fixed, the music pauses even if not getting a call...
You could invest in power amp. Lovely media player that one.

I have been encountering this weird bug for the past few months across many different ROMs. When I walk to and from school, I'm usually listening to podcasts through my Meelectronics SP51P earbuds. After about 5-15 minutes of walking, I notice my podcast skipping forward. Sometimes, the currently-playing podcast will even change to a completely different podcast. Less frequently, my music player will begin playing music during the freak out.
Sometimes it stops after removing my headphones and blowing into the headphone jack, though the problem will start again about half the time.
I was using Google Listen for a while and just thought the program was crap, so I purchased Pocket Casts though I still had the problem. I have no idea what could be causing this...
Hello everyone im having issues when using Upscaler. The issue is when playing musing sometimes im getting a strange sound only lasting for milisecond.
Im able to reproduce it in poweramp where you can click on track line to play from any specific part of the song.
Not sure if this is the same problem or not, but i have a crackling sound.
It happens with both pocket casts and google play music. Everything will be fine, then a new podcast or song will start and all of a sudden the speaker turns to garbage, horrible crackling sound. If i plug in headphones and toggle the upscaler on and off, then unplug my headphones, the speaker works fine again.
I have to do this every couple of days. Anyone have that issue as well?
For me the issue was caused by having Adapt Sound enabled (which is simply adaptive EQ) & UHQ at the same time.
UHQ amplifies the harsher frequencies already amplified by Adapt Sound. For music, it's not a problem. I do, however, have to disable both for podcasts etc...

I have a problème with my P20 (EMUI 9 / 9.0.0.160). to
I don't remember if I had the problem before to update EMUI 8 to EMUI 9.
When I listening music (Youtube Music, Google Music or Deezer tested) my music is constantly pausing and it's not possible to restart the sound with headphone button, I need to go to the music app in order ton play again the song.
I tried with Huawei Freebuds and Plantronics Backbeat Pro 2 and it's the same problem. Sometimes I can listen severals minutes and sometines just a few seconds.
I have this issue with phone locked AND with screen on too (I can see the music player pausing itself...)
Sometimes I can hear a little crackle noise juste before and after the song is paused.
I lost my jack/usb-c adapter so I can't test with earphone.
I tried to disable special access for music player in my phone settings but without success.
