Some cool themes? (that dont use Wisbar)

I'm looking for anything cool. maybe a vista theme? anything, as long as it doesnt use WisBar Advance.
Also, I wouldnt like an Iphone theme, only iPhone stuff i ever use is if it's a launcher.
could someone help me find something that looks really cool?

ah yes! thankyou! but i prefer DC shoes, Empire, Fallen, Globe...etc..
i must say...im impressed Nike doesnt use Wisbar advance, thats a pretty rare find.
but i need themes!

indeed I have, but everything i Found was based for wm2003, so it didnt look cool, it was very plain..

If you want a simple theme why don't you go to http://www.ppc-theme.com
They have lot of standard themes that dun have to use wisbar or stuff like that

well i dont really want a simple theme, but a theme that makes you say WOW. gives everything a lot of detail, like the vista themes, but they all seem to be for Wisbar.

Such things dont exist unfortunately.
Note: u can use RL today, its has its specific themes, along with mortscript, but its just too slow.

try ultimate launcher, simple looking or advanced whatever you like have as many scrolled and or tabbed links as you like and you can embed today screen apps into any page you set up.
search on handango uk or germany or look for the thread here that's titled "tabbed launcher " or something close to that !

That theme really gives you detail and it doesn't slow doen your ppc at all as long as you don't use Wisbar Advance..
That theme will completely only using Wisbar Advance Desktop

Checkout pointui.com most usable interface I've had on my phone yet (for touching anyway). I wish it was customizable but you can't have it all right?

i agree that ultimate launcher is very useful. easy to set up and it works.

Guys, I was about to ask you why are you so sarcastic... but then I read the last two posts ... man I laughed so hard that my girlfriend heard and I had to tell her why am I laughing Trust me I am not laughing now....
Anyhow I think that Skype can deffinetely be improved but let's face it- Skype for Winmo was never good therefore I never really used it. Maybe you guys should have told the guy that nobody (here) would modify an official app with copyrights like Skype.. Also the Landscape issue could easily be fixed with some registry tweaking or using BsB Tweaks (correct me if I'm wrong).

This is probably what that bar code designer uses.Looks helpful for app devs.

Saw this right after i downloaded and messed around with it, one thing is the shortcut feature dosnt work on the droid eris port by king, would have been perfect otherwise

I think this would be nice, however I have never seen anything about a stand alone YouTube Tab. I wonder if someone could write the program to add the tab like the guy did for the Facebook Tab.

I searched for some info on how to make a custom tab, but I cannot find anything related to developing a tab.... any ideas?

Im running youtube 2.6, runs well but its cooked into my rom so i dont have the cab.
I do have another one though, but havent tried it.

hey thanks, but that is not what I was talking about....I want to make/find a tab for youtube (like the tabs on the slider, you know-the home, message, mail, internet, weather, settings ...etc,etc.. tabs?)...I also have youtube 2.6 BTW...
so I hope someone can help me out here, I am willing to put in work -the only problem is I cannot find the resources ?.....

I think the guy working on the facebook tab found that HTC had done alot of the development work themselves and had hidden it away. Atleast thats how it reads. So maybe this isnt such an easy thing to do

Ah sorry mate, misunderstood. Like a FB thread going around, ive read this is not such a simple thing to do either, good luck.

Same here buddy, would be nice but doubt we'll se it happen any time soon..

yeah, I agree that it does not seem easy...seems like too much b$ just for something so simple....i dont know, I am not a newbie to programming, but this is like a whole other world of programming (or w/e you will call it)...
in theory: I would need to put a place holder for a new tab OR take an existing one and change it... have that tab point to/open up the YouTube executable and thats it!...
in practice (it seems): I would have to recompile/decompile/edit multiple manila files...? which even that is sounding much more easier than actual 'practice' of this theory...
any ideas?

this is such a great idea it would be very nice if they could figure this one out
it'll be even better if the dev's could skin the YouTube app a little so that it really intergete in sense

Would you guys be interested in an all-encompassing theming guide?

As I've eben working on my own theme, I've asked a lot of questions , and (obviously) learned a ton along the way. I've been keeping a log of a lot of it, but, I was wondering if you would all be interested in an "end-all, be-all" guide to theming from scratch? With things like important file locations, tutorials on .9 pngs, decompiling and editing xml, etc. etc.? Maybe I'd even PDF it and have screenshots and everything.
Just something I've thought of, but, it's REALLY not worth it if people aren't interested, bc it'd be time-consuming.

I would definitely be interested. I have been looking for something for awhile now. I have found bits and pieces haven't been able to put it all together and figure it out. I have an app I have been trying to theme to match the clock I am using and cannot get it right. I don't know what I am doing wrong.

I am always open to answering questions about theming. If I can anyway.
Personally, I learned a lot of my android business from SDX-Developers. There a bunch of us brainstormed and basically relearned android. We pulled a lot of info from XDA yes. And for that I am greatful. However, since so much had to be relearned, a lot of info is documented in the forum. And most devs are still active so getting a response to a question, or at least someone to bounce ideas off of, is pretty easy. Android across the board is very similar no matter what device.
I would first recommend google search being that there are a ton more forums beyond xda with information. SDX is where I usually go for more technical questions or discussion, but then again it is where all the Moment users went when XDA shunned us.
Documentation is key if you want to remain open source so the mods can be used or altered for future use.

yeah, would defiantly appreciate something likes this. I spend so much time with 360's i hardly have time to mess with my phone and this would make it a much easier task.
