Updating my HTC Kaiser from Win 6.1 to 6.5

Sorry all but....
I am simply trying to find out how to flash my HTC TYTN II from Windows Mobile 6.1 to 6.5. The only thing I have sucessfully managed to do so far was to re-flash the orginal ROM the phone shipped with from the HTC web site. Is it a problem with my phone or is the HTC ROM update program user friendly in some way (looks identical!?) that no others here would seem not to be? I have read no end of programs that seem to need to be used or installed on the PC and\or phone but no clear set of end to end instructions when using the images from here!? I have tried 4 or 5 different ones and all lose connectivity as soon as the program starts to try and flash my phone. Fortunately pulling the battery and powering back up restores normal functionality. This leads to my final question please. Do HTC write user friendly ROM update software for their devices that work without anything else needed where no else seems to or am I missing something? If nothing else assuming I need to this manually could someone please point me to where I can finda full set of instructions please?
What other than updates that simply seem no to work on my phone am I missing soemthing. I am even more seriously considering the Nokia N97 now as Symbian updates are simple to apply and work out the box! Not like these nightmares it would seem!

WM 6.5 has been announced but not officially released, so there is no HTC update. I don't know what you have been trying to download.
The only 6.5 roms available are cooked roms derived from leaked betas of WM 6.5 or roms derived from M$ development tools packages. So if you want an HTC/M$ 6.5 rom, you are out of luck, because it does not exist.
If you want to " unlock your phone and flash one of the many great custom 6.5 roms, then start here

I have AT&T Tilt, barely used, Cant get help to upgrade from manufacturer no longer support. Can you please tell me what upgrade is available and instructions on how to install. Thanks very much Lost.

Urgent : need xda-developers help with JAMA 201

Hi there.
i have imate jama 201, with default english windows mobile 6 standard, i tried to upgrade the windows to 6.1, i did that by copy rom files to memory then restart the device.
that process not sucess and i lost existing software, now i just have white screen nothing else..
i tried to contact imate partnet here, but they told me the imate corporation is not exist anymore and the support too.
please can anybody here help me to restore the default rom for this device.

Would you mind telling me how to Install a fresh OS (what ever) in I-mate PDAL??
My device is empty (no OS on it) .

Windows Mobile 6.5, 6.2, 6.1 available on this forum. great work by CellSmith for all this ROMs for Imate PDAL. For Android there is wing-linux project for Omap 850(PDAL's processor) based device. But it is still not available for PDAL. You can give it a try.

First of all, thanks for reading this, it's my first question and there were a lot of answers about some questions from users that were usseful for me.
I have HTC Touch Diamond 2 and i would like to know the best way and the safe way too, to install wm 6.5. At the Support from the oficial HTC site, it was possible for me to download the file that will install it.
And i would like to know the best software to make the Backup in HTC Dimond 2.
I apreciate all help that someone could give.

Htc Touch HD Wm 6.5

Hi
i searched for hours but i didnt find something that could help me.
I have a Touch HD and i want to flash the Rom from 6.1 to 6.5, but this is my first WM Phone so i have absolutely no idea what i should do.
Could someone help me with simple steps?

With a quick google search, look what I found:
Custom ROM Upgrade for Dummies
Where instead of file #4 in the 'files you need to download' list, you need to download a 6.5 ROM from the 'Blackstone' forums.

and use the wiki, it has a world of information, after all, if your going to flash your HD, its wise to understand what is actually happening..... good luck.
